This place is small but they can get packed. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't get my nails and toes done at the same time. I counted four other people who came in after me who got spa pedicures before me. An appointment that could've took 1 hr 30 minutes at the most took 2 Hrs 1/2 because of this. I recently again started coming to T&T nails after my father reintroduced me to this place, where he used to take me several years ago, when I was much younger! Whenever I enter, I am greeted and asked about my family, specifically my siblings and my father, who have all been to this salon quite often in the past year. Since they are a family establishment, I feel that they often treat their customers like family, through jokes and mannerisms. I don't understand the offense to that in some of the reviews. I rather that than at other salons, awkward silence the whole duration of the service.When I arrived, only 4 people were working and among those people all were working on acrylic nails, so I knew I was gong to wait a while which I would've handled much better if one of the customer's several children weren't bouncing around the small space knocking things over but that, of course, isn't the fault of establishment. After about a 30 minute wait, I was helped by Anne/Ann, who did my fingernails (going off of what I heard another customer call her) and "mom", the owner's mom, who did my toenails. I always get a gel manicure and regular pedicure because I rarely ever show my toes. I am always satisfied with my nails and have never had problems with them cutting my cuticles too short like I had with my last manicure done at the spa at Plaza, the woman over cut my cuticles and I bled! I have recently moved back from East County to the South Bay. I tried a few fancy shops and spent more money.. and was unhappy.This shop, although modest, is filled with a nice group of hardworking people. I get greeted by my name when I arrive. I am treated nicely, and they do a decent job on my nails and feet.I have heard a few women that are natural born complainers bitch... but I genuinely feel that this shop does a great job. People are nice but i wont be coming back after the guy try to clean my nails right after this lady uses the machine to clean this nasty-ass lady's fungi toenails without replacing the tip!!! I should have read the reviews before going there. This used to be my favorite place about 2 years ago but I stopped wearing acrylics for the last couple years, my daughter wanted to get her nails for the first time (she's 12) so I figured I'd take her here. I wasn't going to get mine done, but I had seen this real cute design online and figured that if that was something they could do, then id get them done. When I walked in the place was completely empty of customers so "tweety" the owner right away approaches me to greet me. I told her my daughter was the one getting her nails done and showed her a pic on my phone of what she wanted... White nails with one nail silver glitter... Sound easy right? So she sits my daughter with the gentleman who works there, and he gets busy doing her nails. She offers to do mine, I hesitate but say "if you can do this design I found online, yes". She looks at the picture, call another worker, talks in her language, looks back and says yes. So they sit me down at the opposite side of the place. My nail design was more complicated but she claimed they could do it. First off, they did not have plain white for the nail material, they had white with glitter, the design in my pic had some gold, but she then told me they didn't carry the gold, so I was like ok do silver, one nail required hearts and she did spots instead, it seemed she didn't even look at my photo and was doing her own interpretation!! When more customers started to arrive the lady started to hurry up on my nails in order to get another client. With her trying to hurry up she hit one nail with crystals and knocked them all off and smeared the nail. She had to redo that nail. Then to prevent more crystals from falling she put so much glue on top of them that they no longer shined, the were dull and the job looked very sloppy. Plus the glue over flowed on to my skin and burned horribly!! I had her redo the nail and take off all the diamonds and just use a glittery nail polish. I can go on and on on how they messed up my design but this would never end, ill just post a pic if the results. My daughters design was also completely off.It would have been easier to be honest and upfront that they couldn't do the designs on my pictures, i was charged $28 for nails that looked nothing like what I wanted. My daughters also had to be redone cause they used diamonds instead of the glitter she wanted. My daughter paid $25. I will not go back, overall the nails look okay but not beautiful or professionally done.My friend later told me she got nail fungus at that nail place. Don't go there, try another place.I've added a pic of what I asked for vs what they made, next time don't tell me you can do my design if you don't have the colors, materials  or knowledge to do it. YOU WILL GET NAIL FUNGUS HERE!Had been a loyal customer for 4 years. After 2 terrible altercations, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Over the last 2 years, the owner, Tweety, has been dealing with personal, and health issues, and it has negatively impacted the salon. Your nails WILL pop off within 1 week. Anne was my nail tech, but the last time I saw her, I explained VERY CLEARLY that I wanted pink powder acrylics,  and I wanted them bright. I have been her regular for 4 years....she knows EXACTLY what I expect. At the end of the service,  you could see how sheer my powder was because my damn nails were see-through. I told her I was not paying for my nails, because I was disappointed. I did, however,  pay for my pedicure because it was decent. I gave them the chance to redeem themselves when I tried to make an appointment 2 weeks later, and TWEETY told me I couldn't come back because they "can't make me happy". How disgusting.This place is a ghetto,  tiny, old, smelly hut that used to be a house.  The parking is terrible, and Anne would always be at least 20 minutes late for my appointment. I put up with this crap because,  honestly, my nails looked great 2 years ago. Ever since tweety has had migraines, she is rude,  negligent,  and ordering cheap acrylic, adhesive,  and powder. Every 2 weeks, I would have at least 4 nails lift,  and/or pop off.Also, the "mom" is a crazy, rude, loud asian lady that will irritate you, obviously tslk about you, and lets just say, she hit me on my shoulder one day and scolded me for "coming late"....that was the first horrible encounter I had.Dont go....dont go.....dont go. Omg! I used to go to this nail shop all the time! Don't let the guy do your nails, he seems kind of rude & rushes through people. The owners  name is 'Tweety'! --love her. I came here because we were near by . The guy did my nails. And i hate them!! He did my nails within 15mins. I was mad!!! I told him they were thick and super flare looking . He didn't understand...  The nails were baby pink with glitter on the display hand. But my nails didn't had glitter.  One of the workers there said, " its the new powder, in 2 days you'll see the glitter" . Bullshit.  I am never going there again!! They told me to go back to fix them and i went back it was busy so they told me to come back Monday. Waste of my time , i rather pay again so they can fix it, but somewhere else! Honestly they suck. It all depends on who does your nails. The first time I went the man did it and he did pretty well, but the second time I went to get a new design one of the ladies did the shape of a few of my nails really bad. It seemed as if she was rushing to get to another customer. My nails did not look smooth and it was just terrible. When she did the black acrylic powder for them, the shape wasn't smooth and it was all kinda of crooked. Going to make this short & simple. I will not be returning. I didn't even want to give this place 1 star1. Called in for appointment, was not called until 45 min later2. The man did a very poor & sloppy job. My acrylic was very thick, not enough coats of polish & I had multiple cuts on my fingers after he put the full set on. 3. After finishing my nails he disappeared for 20 minutes. I sat there waiting, and just decided to leave & pay. He came back & tried to convince me to do extra services. I was quoted $14 for a full set, the man took it upon himself to give himself a $3 tip on my card. Even though his work & service was not up to par. He can keep that $3 & save the rest of the tips he charges & enroll back into school to learn to do nails properly. *the parking lot isn't the best, it is literally a dirt lot. I get the whole "you get what you pay" for concept, but when your charged more than what a good place charges and the ball job is horrible...I have a problem. I got my nails done on Wednesday, August 6th not only did she (second seat from the door) speed through doing my nails, I had to ask her to fix work her because they were crooked, lumpy and all 10 nails looked different - after kindly asking her, I had to tell her to fix it. She filed but still it didn't get worse but it didn't get fixed. I looked at the pictures on the wall and couldn't figure out what they were so proud of...I was I looking at a Picasso and I needed to interpret the intention? Fed up I went home and filed my nails to have similar shapes but not continuity. I refused to further look at my nails in fear I would loose my mind. The next day I called because my nails started to lift away. She says top come in and they'll fix it...so I go and this time the gentleman behind the door fixes them. Alright cool...so why am I sitting writing this review? Because the gel polish they put on my nails has adhered to the skin inn the sides of my fingers and I can't get them off I'm afraid if I pry them off it will cause my horrible balls job to lift. After paying $32 for this I am ready to get them taken off. This is NOT my first rodeo and I know what a great nail job is. Never again will I get my nails done on a whim a some while in the wall spot.Not a happy customer. Do not settle for a crappy job even if you've been a long time customer as scene of the ladies that were their. Wow I cant believe this place got high reviews!  Yeah their prices are low but so is the quality and cleanliness. My boyfriend could've done a better job than they did. Everyone was nice but I started questioning my decision to come here when the person working on my nails dropped his nail tools on the floor and decided that its ok to proceed doing my nails without sterilizing the tools first. It only got worse from that point on... but my point is I would never recommend this place to anyone. Ill be going elsewhere that's cleaner and better quality. Read Less

Amazing nail place & the prices are amazing prices for the area & doubt you can beat them. First off the outside definitely looks like a whole in the wall as previous reviews have stated but don't let that turn you away! But don't expect a frilly nail salon.They are very friendly people & very personable.They specialize in nails designs & rhinestone designs.I usually always get the glitter acrylics but because of the great price I can extras like the rhinestones & gell! This place is GHETTO.Its an old house with a horrible parking lot out back.It is always packed but the nails are done well and the price is excellent.I have yet to find another place I liked this much.Give it a shot just don't expect spa chairs and anything fancy.Its bare-bones, cheap and fast.
