I've been getting my eyebrows and lashes done by Savina for almost a year and she is the only one in San Diego I let touch them! When I first started coming to her my eyebrows were thin and patchy and she shaped them and worked with them over time now they look full and amazing with arch&shape. My eyelash extensions I get faithfully by her and I get compliments all the time on how natural and full they look and they last long.Her schedule is very flexible! My lashes always look amazing, she has a large schedule and can accommodate most anytime that you would need. Today was the first time I had visited the salon. Everyone was very friendly & helpful. Very clean and decorated nicely throughout the whole salon. Most importantly, Tracy Pender did an amazing job cutting my hair. My hair was down to the middle of my back and she cut it into a short pixie style & I love it!! I was shopping around the mall and decided to finish the day by pampering myself. I walked in and was greeted right away. Everyone was very welcoming. I saw that they do eyelash extensions, so I decided to finally try it. Savina did such a great job and took really good care of me. I love the ladies and brothers who work here. They offer all sorts of services including eyelash extensions. Julie usually does my nails but since she's on vacation Long did my nails beautifully. I'm very picky about who does my nails and if I like the nail technician I don't usually switch up but to my delight Long was wonderful. They do ask what you like and are into customer service so that's really big with me since I also work in a customer service environment. After reading many of their reviews on their Yelp page, my experience was not as bad as others. I just got a regular gel manicure. The lady, who I believes name was Van was very polite and seated me right away. It took me about 45 minutes for my nails to be finished and they looked clean and well manicured. The process of actually sitting there wasn't as atrocious as expected. Usually at other places, the manicurist don't really acknowledge your presence to even have a small conversation with you. But Van chatted me with me for a bit. The reason for me leaving three stars is because of the quality of the my manicure. Supposedly gel is suppose to last for 3-4 weeks, sadly all my nails were chipping within 2-3 days. I'd rather not spend $35 dollars anymore plus tip. Read Less

The salon has recently been renovated and taken over by new management. It is very clean and presentable. They have a huge selection of colors and the quality of products is superb. The nail tech that did my nails was very thorough. I was very pleased with both my no chip manicure and spa pedicure. My daughter loved hers too! In addition, I also received eyelashes extension from Savina, an amazing esthetician. It is clear that she is experienced with the technique. I highly recommend both the salon and her to anyone! I've been a customer of Savina's for a few years now.  The only reason why I started coming here was because Savina's family took over ownership from the previous owners.  I couldn't recommend her enough for your lashes. I do not recommend this place. I came here because it was very convenient, but I regret it.It's very pricey for simple nails, I should've gone to my regular nail lady (but it was busy that day) and have the same results or even better for half the price! I asked for a specific shape, and I ended up having regular squared shape nails. The lady who did my nails was very nice, I appreciate that, but she doesn't have to live with these nails, I do Also, my sister went in for a pedi, I was paying, so when they showed me the prices, I went for the cheapest one I saw "30 dollars". Best mani/pedi I've had. I also got my eyebrows done. They really pamper you. They did my nails, eyebrows, and toes at the same time which is a good way to keep from being in the salon all day. I enjoyed the services so much I came back the next day to get my lashes done. It was my first time getting lashes. The service takes about an hour and 15 minutes for lash extensions. It's $90. If there was an option for zero stars, that's what I would rate this place. I went in and received the worst set of acrylics I have ever had. It was painful and my acrylics are done very poorly. I asked for them long and she made them extremely short and made them so thick that they are unflattering. If I wasn't scared of the pain this place would cause me removing them, I would have had this dealt with immediately. In addition my poorly done acrylics, the lady doing them was very rude. I found my new nail spot. So I came here yesterday to get a full set and pedicure. They recently (like a week or two ago) went under new management and it shows. Mina did my nails. She was great. I'm very picky and have a specific way I like my nails. She listened to all of my concerns did not get frustrated and did not rush with me. Lan did my pedicure and did a really good job. I walked in for an acrylic fill with gel polish. Worst idea I've ever had! I asked for my nails a little shorter, they are almond shaped, and she cut them to nubs with a square shape. I told her that I wanted to keep the almond, so she filed them down even shorter with a nail file. They were crooked and still flat on the end from where she just chopped them off, so then she tried the tool. I understand that nicks and cuts happen, but she made FIVE of my fingers bleed. She ground the acrylic down so thin that one nail has already chipped, and it's been two hours since my visit with non-strenuous activity. My nails are still crooked, not even close to a uniform shape, and you can see the space in between the old acrylic and her thin layer or new acrylic under the polish. I am at home right now trying to file them myself because they look so awful! I said that I was not satisfied and asked for another nail tech and they refused to make it right. I don't look for perfection, as I am aware that this is a human providing the service, but this is just a waste of my time! I don't even want to go back and ask to get it fixed, but I might if other employees are working. I will return to my usual Diva Nails in two weeks and hope that they can fix this failure of a nail job. Until then I'm stuck with a blood nail bed and hideous "almond shaped" acrylic nubs. I came in for a mani and pedi , my pedi went well , really good massage , i got a french tip , i loved the lady who took care of me. But for me the mani , she cut my finger 2 times !!! She put three coats of the nail polish , i dried them , she checked them , and they were "dry" . I got some sandals the ones the provided , and i wanted to put my shoes back on. I asked the lady that made me my mani and she checked my toes and said yes they are dry. I get home 3 hrs later , i take a shower and my nails were wrinkley . Never have I ever been so sad about getting my nails done!! I recently moved down to the area and was(am) in search of a nail salon. This salon is conveniently located inside the Plaza Bonita mall so I thought I'd give it a chance. My friend accompanied me, because I owed her a mani pedi any, and since we were already in the mall we decided to stop by in this place. Upon arriving, I noticed there is no pricing signage anywhere. I assumed (never again!) that my gel full set would be about $30-$35 as it usually is in other salons. And my pedicure would be about $20. HUGE MISTAKE! My friend and I were sat down right away in the pedicure chairs and waited both about 10 minutes before they started on us. They were extremely busy, so the wait wasn't bad at. Ana did my pedicure, while some guy whose name I did not catch, started my nails. Ana was very polite and went straight to business. I noticed these ladies working don't talk much! Even to eachother. Personally, I prefer a little chit chat between me and my manicurist because I'd want to build a relationship in hopes of coming back. Anyway, Ana did a fair job! The pedicure I chose was the callus and sea salt treatment. I've never seen anyone offer that service forMore then $21 and here they charge $30!! Ridiculous!! But since I really wanted it I got it. I feel like she could've done a better job at removing my callus' because my feet didn't feel as soft as they usually do after a pedi. At the end of my pedi, I noticed my toes looked unevenly cut and crooked. I was disappointed! While getting my pedicure done, the gentleman doing my hands seemed very young and amateur at this. He didn't file my nails the way I'd expect. And he cut me twice while using the machine to buff them. He also failed to mention that they charge for shaping your nails!! Really?!? And getting gel on my nails was even more than I had originally thought. Ugh! Here comes the sad part of my trip...I thought my nails looked horrendous! They were thick, uneven, & just plain ugly!! I had asked his opinion of two colors I picked out to see if it'd bad a good combo and what he recommend sounded way better than what he ended up doing. My ring fingers were baby blue (as planned) but the rest of fingers were a hot mess to me. The color I originally picked out was a brown shiny color with a baby blue contrast to it! Which I thought was super cool and hence why I asked if the combo I wanted would match. When he started painting my nails black, I wanted to cry. I corrected him twice and my nails were still so ugly!! :( in the end my nails ended up being black with splatter baby blue on it and my ring fingers baby blue. (Posted an imagine!) I absolutely hated it. I wanted to cry!!! While getting my hands and feet done at the same time, I also had my eyebrows waxed. I didn't see her pull out a clean stick or strips which worried me a lot but nevertheless my dumb ass let her wax my eyebrows. She thinned them out a lot! :( All in all, my total was $165 for 2 pedi's 2 mani's and an eyebrow wax. I think everything is WAAAY over priced. And i should've listened to the Yelp reviews about this place!! Stay away. Go up the street to the salon next to Starbucks. When leaving I stared at my nails and wanted to cry and cry and cry. They were soooo ugly!!! I shouldn't have paid for them. My husband didn't like them and neither did my family. I mean, the one upside to this place is how convenient the location is. It's in the mall if you need to shop and pick up a few things or grab a bite to eat after getting your nails done.I have been here once for a pedicure and just recently for a manicure. Of course they try to get you to do both, but that's typical. The service is kind of meh but I don't have any real complaints. I got a regular manicure and my nails look good for the most part but I do see a couple flaws (albeit less obvious ones). Some workers are friendly and others just want to get their job done. The price was $13 and I guess they charge you the same regardless of whether you get your nails painted or not, since my friend just opted for the manicure and no paint. That doesn't seem right to me, but it is what it is. They don't use a nail dryer for regular manicure either, just a quick dry top coat and the lamp at the table.Overall it can get busy here given the location so this has an adverse affect on the service offered. The gal did mine pretty quickly. If you're in a rush or just need to come here for the convenience of it then it's not the worst place to get your nails did. Read Less
