The employees are all very nice and welcoming. But that doesnt excuse a horrible job. 2 differend ladies worked on my nails. I asked for short rounded tip with matte topcoat. Got super uneven nails, ring finder slanted to the side (super noticable), you can see where they grinded them down, they clearly werent to concerned with the finished product. I dont expect much for under $40, but this is horrible. Of course i didnt notice anything before i left so i wasnt able to get them dixed. Very nice people, but please work on better quality. This is for the Story City location: Absolutely will not be returning. I made an appointment for TWO of us for manis/pedis two weeks prior to July 3. They had my name and phone number. At the last minute, they decided to close on July 3. They never called me to inform me of this. Mistakes happen! They could have made this right. Instead, they tried to say they called me. They didn't. Then they backtracked and said they'd check with their receptionist to see if someone called ...(which proved my point that they were saying they called me when they had no idea that they hadn't). My first experience here was pretty good, so had they simply apologized and offered to make it right, all would have been forgiven. Instead, it really screwed me over because my wedding was July 5 and everything was closed on July 4. So in sum, I won't go back because they had my name and number for two weeks and didn't inform me they were closing last minute. This was for the most important day of my life as well. I can't believe I haven't done this sooner!! I have been going to Lyndsie for quite some time, she is PHENOMENAL. I like to do crazy things with colors and she is always down!! Today was the best yet, the purple panels she added throughout my hair turned out amazing- love you girl!!! Tried really, REALLY, hard to like my hair. But for $160 this is not okay. Really make sure the stylists is confident in doing the colors combos you're looking for. This is not what I asked for. I spent over 2 hours getting less than half my head "foiled" for no reason. I had over two inches of roots and wanted them to match the blonde on my hair, why would I want "blended" blonde foils put in that clearly show the dark line of where my roots are. Like it's not up for interpretation I asked for blonde top half, and the stylists decided to foil. Um no. At that point I asked why are my roots still showing. Her answer was 'oh I blended the colors', not what I asked for at all. And why did she choose this herself. Then decided after leaving me sitting in the chair and having a pow-wow in the back, she 'painted' on some bleach on the top on my head and called it a day. Like, wait what? Not cool. I should have stopped the appointment at that point but I thought, if I'm paying this much at this nice of a salon they can't let me look stupid. Well here I am trying a couple weeks after my coloring to really like my hair, and "grow" into it, but it's a complete disaster! I'm embarrassed of how it looks. Truly sad and devastated I saved up my "stay at home mommy pennies" (as I call it) and blew it on this crap. Lesson learned, I'm going back to a beauty school to get this fixed. Yes I said BEAUTY SCHOOL where they have teachers over looking the students work to ensure a good outcome. I've had a beauty school teacher and student stay well after hours at Milan in Fairfield to make sure I was happy with my hair. Can't be said for this place. She had another client after me and clearly was ready for me to leave by the end of my appointment. Again, make sure you know what you want and stick to it. I was pushed over into a horrible hair coloring experience. I would not recommend this salon. I will not be going back. And I posted a pic to show the chunk of color missing on the side of my head. Tammy is amazing!  She booked me today after I called at noon.  She was super nice and very very helpful. I got my eyelashes tinted  and  have never had that done. She was very sweet and actually asked me about myself and talked with me throughout everything.  She even plucked my eyebrows for free!  I will definately go back here! Read Less
