I was a walk in today and I only had to wait 5 minutes. I got a full set and my eyebrows waxed. Both ladies did a stellar job and I feel much more feminine and presentable now. All the employees were very friendly and spoke English extremely well. The shop was clean and the vibe was inviting. I love my nails and my eyebrows finally look clean again. The woman who did my nails knew exactly what I was talking about as I was trying to explain to her what I wanted for my nails. She was courteous and kind as she was working. The other woman who did my eyebrow wax was so sweet and made conversation with me while doing my eyebrows. I cannot wait to come back here. I just found my new nail place! Read Less

Friendly, clean and professional staff amd services.  I'm treated ever so nicely by the entire staff.  They are so patient when i cant make up my mind for color. I always get shellac manicure and it lasts 2-3 weeks. They have a great selection of nail colors. I love that they do one nail and ask if i like the color. My nails look fabulous when they are done. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because all those ladies especially Vicky and her daughter  are wonderful workers. but the manager pfffwwtt!!she could be rude! They rarely buy new  nail polish or redo their inventories!!!they keep those old ones and never tossed them!!! so gross!! Eh.  I was looking for a place to get my nails done while I waited for my husband to get off work and we can head to a work event.  I am not from Napa and usually have a got to nails spot, however it being a Friday, I didn't want to be stuck in traffic and came out here early.  Anyhow, the staff is nice and a couple of them even chatted with me, making me feel like they really wanted to get to know me.  I got a pedi and gel mani.  I liked the work initially, my pedi was good, but my gel mani barely lasted a week and it's already starting to peel.  I can usually go 3 weeks before it starts to peel so that tells you, 1 week?  Anyhow, very unlikely I will not be back but I didn't hate the service, I've experienced better. Well , I found this little place on yelp. After reading a few reviews from here as well as some from others I chose to come here. I made an appointment before showing just to be courteous. I arrived right on time and was seated right away, they only have a few selection of colors which wasn't a problem for me as I'm pretty basic. The woman doing my pedicure took her time she made sure the cut down wasn't too short, also she wasn't extremely aggressive on my feet. Once I was done with the pedicure I probably had to wait about 10 minutes to get my nails done and once again wasn't a problem. They made sure I like the cut and the length. I honestly have no complaints being a first timer at this location, although I wouldn't recommend gel colors or gel pedicure's just because the price difference is about a $15. All together I spent $55 with a six dollar tip included. Wasn't bad , most likely will be my go to if I'm ever in Napa . Read Less

Mary and the other ladies were so nice and pleasant!  I walked in when I was on vacation and was extremely pleased with the service. I had a basic manicure and pedicure, but felt like I received more than a "basic" treatment and the cost was very reasonable. The ladies were really nice, and their service was top notch.  I wish this nail spa was back home because I would go all the time!!  Everything was really clean and comfortable.  I would recommend this nail spa to everyone!!! I visited Imola Nail Spa for the first time yesterday. I was immediately greeted and put at ease by the staff. Mary, the owner, assisted me and took care of me right away even though I did not have an appointment. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Her work was professional. I've been to several salons in the area, and after leaving Imola Nail Spa today, I think I have found my spot for my pedicures. I didn't get a manicure today, which is why I only specified 'pedicures'.After reading Yelp reviews and looking at posted photos, I had a chance to try the spa. I'm not much of a person to call ahead, so upon walking in (Friday around 5:30pm), I was taken almost immediately. The water was a pleasant and relaxing temperature for me, and I was able to soak my feet for a few minutes, which is nice when you need to soften the skin/cuticles especially during these cold winter months.Vicky was my technician. I read she was the one to go to, and I agree. She's thorough, fast and gives a great foot massage! I like A LOT of pressure, so it was definitely a moment I could've fallen asleep. Overall, this is a salon I will definitely return to. For the price paid ($25), I am happy with the service. The one note I will need to remember, and for those who are yet going to try Imola Nail Spa, the preference for payment is cash. They do have a credit card reader, but being a small business, I understand their preference for cash to avoid charges on their part. Read Less

Vicky is my pedicure go-to person. Friendly, clean, and very careful.  I prefer not to do hands here, not because I don't like it but because I go elsewhere with a long friend of mine. Imola Nail Spa is a great place to go for a quality, and reasonably priced, manicure or pedicure! They also reward repeat business with a free manicure after 10 gel manicures, or 10 mani-pedis...be sure to ask for their "stamp card." Nice little shop and friendly people. Read Less

I was away with my husband and decided to get my nails done. When I got there, I was seated at Nancy's station. She did a horrible job. She hand filed into my skin on two fingers, she nicked me twice using the automatic filer, my nails are uneven and the paint job is really bad. Even my husband said that they look like crap, and I took no offense because they ARE bad. I didn't even wait for them to dry, before leaving. Came in to get my acrylic nails taken off. Never been here before so I thought, simple enough... Soak and then take the nails off. I've been getting acrylic nails for years and am very familiar with how the technicians remove the acrylic.There was four ladies there, I walk in tell them what I want and ask how much. She said 10$ and it would be 15minutes and no problem they  'can do'. I said 'okay' and waited. While I'm sitting there, I'm thinking, "I could be soaking my fingers this whole time. But okay, I'll go with it." 30 minutes later she tell Me to sit in the chair and she starts ripping the nails off without soaking and let alone with another nail!? Weird. And painful. Low and behold my finger starts bleeding because she ripped off my nail underneath. If I wanted to cause that kind of damage I would of stayed home and saved myself $10. I then suggest to the nail tech to soak my nails because her method clearly wasn't working. (They should of been soaking the entire time I was waiting but what do I know?) she soaks them and layers of the acrylic start to come off. (Duh) I'm now here for an hour just for a freaking nail removal. She then just files the acrylic down and doesn't even take them all the way off and tells me that I have to wait for them to "come off naturally". WTF? -- I've had this done millions of times at multiple different shops, how do you not know how to do a pretty BASIC thing?!I get charged 10 freakin dollars for NOTHING. I asked for acrylic off- and I left with acrylic filed down and a bleeding finger as I left 1:15minutes later. Absolute waste of time money. Shitty management for doing nothing to acknowledge the fact that I was pissed off when I explained to her at the desk that my service was not provided so why am I being charged and that you didn't do what I asked. She tells me it's my " nails fault and that always happens when they are weak".If you can't provide the service that I ask then TELL ME BEFORE I WAIT IN YOUR WAITING ROOM!! And ESPECIALLY CHARGE ME FOR IT!! I will be telling people of this shithole place and my experience. Read Less

I shoulda been scared when we had to walk through a sea of swampy lookin flies to get into the place. I always thought of Napa being this semi fancy schmancy place but, now that I've been here, I can safely say that none of the four "top-rated" nail salons in the area live up the high ranks. Their prices are decently cheap compared to LA., 35$ mani/pedis. HOWEVER, I had such a ridiculous experience here that I was wishing for a place we coulda splurged for a relaxing spa experience. First off, they were going to start us off one on mani and the other on pedi (despite the fact that there was room for both of us to be next to each other) but we told them we'd prefer sitting next to one another so we can chat while they were working on us. Oh well. We could've gotten over that but it we just weird when they had the next customer come in and use the one in between us... When they finished w my pedi, I asked if they had those flippity flops that every nail place uses and she said no, Just walk over to the table. I asked her again and she told me "not to worry" and that she had put down a towel for me at the table for them to do my mani... That kinda wasn't the point so I clarified that she wanted to walk across their dirty floor barefoot and she simply confirmed. Great. I mean there were freaking nail clippings on the floor!I still don't get why they didn wanna give me those cheapo 2 cent flip flops and, instead, slipped my feet into lil plastic bags and put my pumps on! I was baffled... Particularly when 10 min later my friend asked for flip flops and got them. She saw my lil bagged feet and asked her lady to get me a pair too cause it was just too ridiculous. I like cheap nail salons as long as they're clean and sanitary with their work. Today I got a classic manicure for $12. Upon entering the salon, I noticed how clean and pretty spacious Imola Nail Spa was. No one didn't look stressed or crammed at all.Anyways, Tammy took care of my little hands that needed a little beautifying. She was a very professional, sweet, and soft-spoken Vietnamese woman to work with. I really like how meticulous she was when she was cutting the cuticles and applying the base coat, nail polish, and top coat afterwards. She didn't rush the process to get my nails done and made sure I was happy with the results. Also, I'm in love with her hand massages and the fact that the tools used for your nails are already sanitized in one of those surgeon bags! On the other hand, Tammy's experience working with the nail business has been 15 years, and it definitely shows in her quality work. However, I have my reasons why I give Imola Nail Spa a four star rating instead of five. The variety of OPI nail polish is very limited. Also, I'm not sure how up to date the ladies are with the latest nail art trends. Overall, I wouldn't mind doing business with them when I need a quick manicure and polish fix! I thought the girls did an awesome job for what it is. It's no frills quality work and they do in fact do massages so I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about. They are efficient and sweet, and I was happy with my shellac mani and pedi. Will be back soon. Read Less
