I love this Nail Salon and my gal Jackie is great. I love the service and I can usually get an appointment when I call. The first time coming I got Tammy, she was awesome! I was so impressed and even a month later my nails looked amazing, no lifting or anything I normally experience when getting my nails done. Unfortunately I didn't get her name and couldn't remember who had done them so when I went back for a fill I didn't request her and I got Van. She did my nails in like 25 min, if that. She was clearly in a rush to leave and made me feel like i was an inconvenience even though they weren't closed for an hour. It's been a week now since I got my fill and want to rip them off. They are uneven, the acrylic is hanging of the side of my nails, over my cuticles, or what Is left of them... you can see old glitter, little hairs (I'm a hair stylist) and dirt through the acrylic.. my nails look dirty. I'm not happy at all with them. However I will come back, everyone else was really nice and welcoming and I know Tammy can do a great job! I gave this review 1 star because i paid good money to get my nails "pretty" and they are terrible, but also because her customer service skills suck. She should have just said she couldn't do it. Best nail salon in town by far. I go to Royal Nails Spa every time I need my nails done. I get the acrylic overlay on my nails and a pedicure too and I can honestly say my nails have never looked better. My nails are so healthy since I started coming here and it lasts so much longer compared to when I get my nails done some where else. They take their time on your nails and make sure that it is exactly what you want. Jackie is amazing she is so sweet and kind. I have been to Royal Nail Spa twice and each time they've done a fantastic job on my pedicure. Tammy and Jackie are amazing. The fact that they remembered me on the following visit after visiting the establishment one prior time goes to show how much they really care about their customers. Don't go here. Van did my manicure and pedicure. I told Van to cut my toe nails straight across and to not cut them short. Van cut down the sides of both of my big toe nails. I was in pain that same night and ended up having to make an appointment with a podiatrist. I saw the podiatrist a few days later and had to have surgery on both my big toes, removing half the toe nail from each. It has been very painful. I would post a picture but it's disgusting. When I called the ...business to complain, they insisted that I should not have gone to a doctor and should have come back to them to look at the nails. I told them I was in pain and needed a doctor, that they were not doctors, and why would I go to them when I was in so much pain from something they caused. They would not listen and said I should have come to them. She also said that Van was trying to "fix" my nails and claimed I asked her to do that, but there was nothing wrong with my nails when I went there and I had someone with me that overheard everything. I was not in any pain prior to this and had never been to a podiatrist before in my life. I told them again that they are not doctors and should not be doing things like this with peoples nails. When I asked for the last name and license number of Van, the person that worked on my nails, they refused to provide her information. Instead, they said they would refund me for my pedicure, which is not nearly sufficient given the medical bills, bills for medication and bandages, constant pain, and time I've taken off work. I called because I wanted to file a formal complaint about this manicurist and the refused to give me the information to do so. When I said I would come down there to get her license number (which is supposed to be public information and posted in the salon), they threatened to call the police. Instead, I filed a complaint with the CA Licensing Board against the salon since they are threatening me when I try to file one against a manicurist there. I will NEVER step foot in this place again. I set an appointment for 12:30, AN APPOINTMENT, and I waited for 20 minutes before walking out. I was acknowledged only after waiting, no hello or welcome when I came in. The woman who first spoke to me turned out not to even be the one who was supposed to do my nails. No apology, nothing. When I walked out, I heard behind me "She's ready now." I'm sorry (not sorry), but if I have an appointment set there is no way in hell I'm going to wait that damn long, and plainly see that the technician isn't even in a rush to clean up and get to me. He grabbed a few tools from his soiled container and poured something on it than used on my nails..... I really wish I could rate each employee separately. If I could the rest of the staff would get 5 stars. The atmosphere is clean, friendly, and inviting. This 1 star rating is because of one employee in particular. Her name is Van. Ive been to her twice for acrylics. The first time she filed my index fingernail to a very odd shape. It was the only nail that looked super wonky. When I asked her to fix it because it looks different than the rest of my nails she argued that it's... because my finger is different. What the hell is she talking about? My finger is the same as my 9 other fingers. I was very nice about it and asked her again to please fix it. She huffed and she puffed and she was rude the rest of the appointment. Not to mention I had tons of little bubbles in the gel that looked like specs of dirt. 2nd time I called to get a fill. Of course Van was the only one available so I decided to give her one more shot...after all maybe she was just having a bad day. Nope!! This time was even worse. My nails were clearly crooked and at various lengths and shapes. Every time I asked for something a bit different she argued, huffed&puffed, and rolled her eyes. Yes you read that right. She rolled her eyes over and over again like a teenager going through puberty. When I told her about the bubbles in my previous set she says "Bubbles?? No I don't think so." Well guess what.....2nd time around and I have more bubbles than the 1st time. It seriously looks like I have a ton of specs of dirt on my baby pink nails. Also, my left thumb is 1/4 of an inch longer than the rest of my nails. She was so rude that I decided to keep my mouth shut and file it myself at home. Hands down worst customer service I've ever experienced TWICE. Yes, I am picky about my nails. I want all of them to be the same length and shape. That is what I'm paying for. If you are looking for someone who can give you exactly what you want then Van is not the person for you. It's her way or the highway. We moved back to California a month ago, up until then I had never had a pedicure. My auntie gifted me one, but that spa is too far from where we are living. So, I searched yelp and found this little gem in Murrieta. After searching several other salons, Royal Nail Spa stood out above the rest. I called and Jackie, the manager, saw me and gave me a spectacular pedicure. I have metal in one of my ankles and on that same foot the nail on my big toe grows funny due to my accident. The best nail salon out there! Both my thumbnails are broken but Frank was able to fix it right away. He's very detail-oriented and very accommodating. My mom and I walked in kinda late Friday night but they still did very good on our nails. I really appreciate that they did not rush it even though they had to work a bit overtime for us. I came to this salon today because of their 5 star rating. I had Van for my nails. I needed a fill and wanted a French manicure finish. The acrylic is bubbled and chunky and the paint is very messy-not a clean finish at all. She also was rude. The work was so bad I will be getting it fixed somewhere else tomorrow. I also had a pedicure done and the lady who did that was awesome(don't know her name). Maybe the other ladies do nails well but Van-not at all. This nail salon is the best around. It is in a shopping center that is mostly vacant on corner of Jefferson and Juniper. The reason I say this is the best is because it is kept immaculately clean compared to most, the owner is super sweet as is other technicians and they all speak English even to each other when in the salon.
