Got a deluxe pedicure in August (have been here twice before and no issues) the person doing it cut two of my nails so bad I was bleeding and a few days later got an infection. Showed them when I was done and the person just went yeah. Nothing else was said. Emailed them after and I got oh - well we are working on our customer service. I LOVE this place! Annette is amazing! I happened to find this place when I was in a pickle and I am so happy I did. You get a spa pedicure in a dark room on a comfy chair and free tea, biscuits and candy! Annette also did my nails and they look great! To top it off, I went and had a facial by Annette today! I went here with my friend after my boyfriend's mom talked about the great experience. For myself it was a bit awkward. I get the idea of a spa like atmosphere but when girlfriends go to a nail salon together, they want to converse. We were literally shushed by the technician. There were only two other ladies & two employees. By the time we got help, it was about 30 minutes & the water was cold. I think my feet got wrinkly from sitting so long. My friend & I resorted to having to text each other since we couldn't talk. It was a quick nail service for quite the wait. The tea & cookies were nice of course. We opted to not get gel manicures like we originally intended and went elsewhere. If I could give no stars I would. I made an appt today for a fill and pedi for my sister in law and I and when we showed up and was sat in the pedicure chair it took them an hour just to start our pedis and completely rushed the process and cut my toes way to short and did a awful job. I also came for the express pedi and the lady who said she was the manager argues with me and wouldn't give me the price listed on the website and said she gave a different pedi. All in all worst experience I ended up going to a different nail salon for my nails and had them paint and fix my toes. Don't ever go to this place worst experience ever. Read Less

This IS by far the best nail salon I've been in the last 5 years in the Murrieta/Temecula area. I'm VERY impressed with the time and effort they spent on my feet.  I had a luxury pedicure package with hot stone massage, callus removal,  sea weed wrapping, hot wax feet, ....., you name it.  75 minutes of being pampered, complementary tea,  sweets, rice bread! The atmosphere is even more stunning since it is absolutely quiet with relaxing music, dimmed lights and each seat has its own wonderful private space. It should be a 3 1/2.  I have a love hate relationship with this place. I'll do the loves first...I love the atmosphere and how they really set the relaxation vibe with a nice aroma, dark room, and twinkle lights when you look up.  Love the tea and  cookie that's complimentary every time.  I love the hot pillow they wrap around your neck as well as the hot stone pedicure.  Here's my hates...I hate that the chair you sit in during the pedicures is not a massage chair like most salons.  I hate that even with an appointment I typically have to wait about 15 minutes. Lastly,  I hate that so far I haven't found anyone here that's willing to do my cute and sometimes very different designs.  I actually have been refused a French tip manicure twice now for pretty weak excuses. I don't feel like I should be questioned or denied my toe color choices.   Blah!  What to do??? If I could give this place 0 stars I would! They are HORRIBLE!!! When I walked in the back there was probably 6 people getting their feet done with only 2 people working on them! I sat there until the water was cold for about 30 mins before someone even walked over to me. Then he would start on my feet then walk away to work on someone else. Then he would come back and start again on me then walk away again to someone else. when I thought he was going to get the nail polish for my toes i was WRONG! He started to work on another lady and I sat there for 45 mins land finally had to walk out. I was there for almost 2 hours for nothing! And they still charged me $15 for what!? I kept trying to explain that he didn't finish my toes and she was very rude to me saying she took $5 off when I shouldn't have paid anything! I have had better service at McDonald then this place! After visiting a few nail salons in Murrieta and not being 100% satisfied I made my way to Luxy nail spa. First off, you can schedule appointments online which makes everything sooo easy. Secondly, I was incredibly impressed with the extra detail and time my tech gave me to give me a perfect manicure. I was not rushed, she pointed out why she does certain things that most other salons don't do but make a huge difference. Very impressed, can't wait to go back to try out the rest of their services. Annette the owner stole from me. They hired us to do a job for them and once the work was done, she went ahead and called her bank and got her money back. Do not do business with this location...I think she does this to everyone. She was telling me about how the last company she hired scammed her, but now I see that it is her who is scamming people! Very relaxing pedicure experience. I received snacks and tea as well as a wonderful massage. The technician was delicate with my feet, but rough enough to tame them. My only complaint was a musty smelling heated neck wrap. Felt great, just wish it smelled better. Read Less

I was help very fast. I asked for gel manicure and previously had gel on and my nails were a good long which I wanted to stay long of course some filing done to maintain. She began to file the gel off with the thick file meant for acrylic and hurt me several of times, I told myself she will switch files once she gets rid of the gel but NO before I knew it my nails where painfully short to the point that my nails could no more be filed, she didn't know how to shape them. The whole ordeal was painful and pulled my hands away several times, she either didn't care that she was hurting me or she just wasn't capable of doing her job. Go anywhere else!  Unfortunately when I went now 8 weeks ago I should have known better when walking in and only one person getting a pedicure or manicure on a Friday afternoon.   I should have taken pictures before I tried getting this polish off (gel) but I knew that day it wasn't like any other gel or shellac I had ever had before.  Besides the strange top coat coloring... it is extremely heavy and damaging to my toes.  Now 8 weeks later my nail artist can't even get the gel off after 30+ min of normal soaking. Used to love this place. But service has slowly been declining. Made an appointment - told them anytime they choose the time - arrived a few minutes early was told 15 minutes. So okay hang out. 45 minutes later I get told that the person who was going to do it didn't come back and it will be at least another 15 minutes. No apology. No care. Why make an appointment?  Appointment at 415 - and they picked the time as I had a free day - arrived early was told it will be 15 minutes. 45 minutes later I ask what's going on and am told it will be another 15 minutes . I guess the girl who was to see me left to get something and never came back. Owner never apologized acted like they are the only game in town.  Heard her and client call me a fat cow when I was walking out. Classy. Been coming here since they opened. Annett is so great at doing fills! Very sweet and easy to talk with. She's a perfectionist so every nail looks great! I haven't had a pedicure yet, but this is my daughters favorite place for a pedicure. This nail salon was a lot different then the ones, I've been to. In the front they do your manicures and in the very back they give you a pedicure. Mind you not it is very dark in the back. They almost have no lights on. It was a little bit more relaxing but good. They do give you cookies and tea. (My tea by the way was cold, not hot or even warm.) I went in today for the Spa Pedicure since there was a special, i thought i would try it out instead of my normal place. All i can say is wow! So relaxing and definitely the best pedicure experience I've had. It felt like i was at a spa, they have the lights off and a quiet environment to help in the relaxation. They also provided some tea and cookies, which was a nice plus. They sears seats are very comfortable and they provide a heated neck pillow. I'm a week away from my due date and wanted to have pretty feet before I have my baby, and i am 100% satisfied and will definitely be returning after this baby is born. Thank you Peter! Read Less

My Husband and I decided to give this place a try because of a local page on Facebook. I called ahead and set up appointments for a pedicure for him and mani / pedi for me. Sure they were nice and seemed to know what they were doing upon entering. We were brought to the back where they do the pedicures, were seated and promptly were given a snack (cookie/cracker) and a hot tea. So far so good, well it seemed to take forever for anyone to get to us, 20 min to be exact before they got to me, and 30 for my husband. Because they were working on other people. Thankfully we weren't in any hurry.. They finally get started and they kept stopping / interrupting with getting up to take care of other people in between.. My husband had two different people working on (while they were cutting his cuticles they cut him a few times) between the interruptions as well.. Finally I finish up, think they're going to prep me for my mani next because they walked me out to the front, husband is still trailing.. So I'm siting out front one of the guys says to me do you want to pay? I said not yet I still need my mani.. He said mani? I said yes, at the time of calling and setting up appointment I let them know, So the lady comes out and says oh we forgot, but I'll do for you, mind you now she has other people waiting ... I said well I don't have all the time so how about just a quick polish change? Okay she says.. Expect the best, but be prepared for THE worst.My husband & I were excited to try this place out.  We'd heard great things about them from a local FB group.To say the least, my treatment was horrible.  The pedicure & massage was a disaster.  My massage felt as if this guy had absolutely no clue and the pedicure, well I had to tell him not to massage my skin raw with the salt scrub.  He was literally giving me my leg massage while the salt scrub was still on.  While at the same time, my neck & shoulder massage was a painful joke.  I asked BOTH of them to STOP!  My hubby says the lady who gave his pedicure massage was great.  Good for him.  On top of the horrible service I received, the front desk attendant quoted us one price prior to our services and after services were rendered, he charged us a higher price.  When I questioned it, without even flinching he denied quoting us a lower price previously.  I wish we had shared others great experiences.  We did not.  Needless to say, we will not be returning or recommending.  *Eyes Rolled* Read Less

Well I came here Sunday with pretty high hopes after reading all the high yelp reviews and was kind of let down. I called to make an appointment Saturday after seeing it was highly recommended by everyone on Yelp. I came in Sunday at noon and there was one person getting a manicure and no one getting pedicures when I got there. I was disappointed that there were no massage chairs, but the pedicure room in the back was still super relaxing. It was really dark in the back, and the chairs were comfy but they didn't really work for me. I'm super short, so my legs just weren't long enough sometimes so it was really uncomfortable with the chairs and stuff. They give you a nice warm neck wrap thing that's super relaxing. Once you are sitting they also bring you a little tray with tea, a cracker thing, and candy. Such a nice thought especially from a nail salon. It's not something many of them do anymore. This nail salon is trying really hard to be more of a spa then a nail salon I think. The girl working on my toes was sweet and did a great job. But because of my short little legs and the chair just being too far from the pedicure bowl I don't think I'll come back for another pedicure. I also got a gel manicure here. They have a good selection of colors to choose from. My cuticles hurt. So. Bad. Though. I feel like I got a bad acrylic set. I can see the cuts on two of my fingers, and a couple just hurt. My total for Pedi, gel mani and tip was $70. For the experience I had, I don't think I will be back. Read Less

They don't overcharge or say you need something when you don't. They don't rush through the manicure or pedicure. They take their time and make sure you are comfortable relaxed and happy. This is such a lovely place and the staff is extremely sweet! If you want the spa experience for your pedicure definitely go to Luxy. You will begin your pedicure in a quiet, dim lit room with privacy screens between the plush chairs. With a warm neck wrap and a hot green tea brought right to you, it doesn't get much more relaxing than this! Most importantly they show you the tray with all of your pedicure supplies, the tools were new in a sealed package that they opened ri...ght in front of me (awesome!!) the scrub and lotion was in clean little dishes it was so neat and tidy I loved it!! My pedicure was so relaxing and they really took their time to make sure I was are taken care of.
