I walked in this place with my 2 daughters and a lady greeted us, I asked how much it would be just to paint their nails, she looked my daughters up and down and said "oh I'm busy now" I said "so that's how much it is?" She didn't even have the decency to answer my question not even knowing if I wanted to do it right then or make an appt OR just wondering their prices period! She then responded to my asking her if that's how much it is with "I'm busy now" RUDE!! I will never come here and feel she treated me this way because I brought in my daughters. Every time I come here I regret it. they always over book everyone so that puts them in a rush. there overall ability to do nails and toes is not good either. I asked for a simple french tip polish change on my toes and the lines were so uneven and you could tell she was in a rush because it took her no more than 5 minutes to do. Read Less

I ended up at this place accidentally, I was supposed to go to the one on the next street light that I had been to before. I walked in and it wasn't busy so I figured why not just try it out after all I just wanted a simple pedi & mani. How could anything go wrong... well it didn't turn out so great for me. Started off with cold water for my feet. I had to tell the lady the water was cold. Even though the place was pretty much empty everything was done in a rushed manner. My hands never touched water. Cuticles were done dry. I could have brushed off all these things had the end polish been one well, but as soon as I walked outside I noticed how bad my nails looked like. There are visible layer lines on them. Some in the middle but mostly on the sides. Not sure if it was the top coat that wasn't spread evenly or what but I was disappointed to say the least. I love coming here to get my pedis. The staff is great and they do a great job. Reason for my 3 stars is because they push you to pay in cash. If you don't have cash they want you to go to the bank and come back to pay. I get that there's a fee to run credit/debit cards but my gosh....they should just put a sign on the door that says cash only. Sometimes it's an inconvenience. Read Less

Went here because we wanted to try a new place. I also had a gift certificate that I had found in a drawer at my house that I forgot about. My daughter and I just walked in when they opened and we were sat right down. As we were looking around we saw how dirty the floor was. We kind of shrugged our shoulders thinking well, we are here and I had a gift certificate. The gals were nice and they did a great job. Went to pay and the owner said he would not accept the gift card as it was from the previous owner.. Hmnn the name is the same, the business cards and phone number are the same? THere is no expiration date. What a shame. So everyone DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS HERE. And the other gal is right. The health department should take a look inside this place. Read Less

Made appt 4 hrs in advance, upon arrival, cindy said would be 2 hr wait cuz they took a grad party instead. The shop is filthy. They reuse tools without sanitising them customer after customer. Dirty everywhere. Nobody cleans anything. Health department should check on them. They are rude and talk and laugh about customers because we dont understand their language. Stations are full of dirt, etc. Worried about getting others diseases . Left there went across street to Bright Star Nails. Clean, clean, each new set of c tools sealed in santitised bags. I called to make an appointment for 3 spa pedicures at 630pm the following day, the man on the phone asked me to come in at 6 me and my 2 coworkers weren't off until 6 and they advertised closed at 7pm. He agreed and set 3 spa pedicures for 630pm the next day. At 6:17pm the next day we showed up and walked in for our appointment. The woman inside said "no no no we are closed" (even tho their closing time says 7pm) and I said "no no no we have an appointment I set yesterday", she asked with whom I said he didn't give my name she said "oh that is our manager Andy he already went home". My coworker said "well we made an appointment what do you suggest we do?" The lady said "you can try somewhere else." LOL wow!! Used to love this place but it needs to be maintained better. Pedicure chairs are broken, the chairs you wait in are in need of cleaning and although the staff was pretty friendly I was far from happy with my mani pedi. Lines were crooked, nails not correctly filed or trimmed. I went to Unique Nails in Temecula after to have everything fixed because I was repeatedly pointing mistakes out like no polish on the sides and old polish not being removed without having a good outcome. Love this place! They do a wonderful job (I get gel fill and pedicures every 2 weeks) and have a great atmosphere. My son gets his toes done here too! The isn't the dreadful smell and they run fans to keep it that way. Really like that they know me and don't force more than I'm asking for, which makes a huge difference when I'm going in to relax and not feel pressured. Read Less

I went to this nail salon because of their later hours, though the bad review here had me worried. However, I didn't see any of the negatives that that reviewer mentioned. I went into American Star Nails for a quick mani-pedi before a party. 1. They were not friendly and did not greet me when I came to the door. It was more like dead stare. 2. The pedicure spa did not seem clean to me nor the instruments they used. I got an obviously inexperienced beauty professional. She cut too short. She was very rough with both my hands and feet. She cut four of my fingers, drawing blood each time. Overall I would never go back. Read Less
