I've been coming here for awhile. Used to go to Oceans nail spa near Target, which wasn't bad, but I find this place just as good and cheaper. I only do gel nails and pedicures, nothing fancier than that. And on my own nails. But they can always take me and do a great job. I've started doing the clear gel and I really like it. I've also gotten my eyebrows done here too. Only $10. Not bad.I also had to bring my 6 year old son with me. He was super quiet and behaved but they didn't scoff or give me dirty looks. I am not one to complain, but I have been here a few times and each time I left I thought to myself "maybe next time it'll be better" it's close and convenient. WRONG!!! They've been rude every time, and it doesn't feel clean at all. I called before getting my pedicure to make sure they would have time because I didn't have time to wait. I was told to come right in and They did have the chair ready and waiting to soak my feet, but I sat with my feet soaking for 25 min and the lady who told me she'd be ready started another pedicure . (This is why I specifically said on the phone I didn't have time to wait) and as I got up to leave she said "sit down I'll start right now" . Right as I sat back down, an eyebrow wax walked in so she waxed her, again, before starting my pedicure and said to me "this won't take long you don't mind?" Yes , actually I do mind. Worst pedicure ever. The lady cut two of my toes and she ripped one of my toe nails off. When I arrived there was an elderly lady who was a client. When the pedicurist went to go out her sanders on her she said "no no no, you've done enough". I thought the client was just overly picky. I should have listened. NEVER AGAIN! Never again will I be coming to this Nail Spa! Please be careful ladies!!! Today Was my first and also it will be my last time! I decided to go here because it was close by, also I wanted to give it a try. I went in to get my eyebrows wax. They took me in right away witch was great, I didn't have to wait. As I laid down the lady began. She applied wax on one side of my eyebrows then she reached over for more wax, as she reached for more she dropped it on my eye! Yes my eye! That hot wax on my eye witch got all over my eyelashes! Right  away I got up! Trying not to open my right eye ( where she dropped the wax) all she would say was " I'm sorry I'm sorry" witch she should of been helping me remove it. But no of course I had to say "help me give me something to take it out" all she gave me was a tissue ( like if that did anything) I got out of the room and I started walking out. Then the owner saw me leaving and asked what was wrong. I had told her what had happen. Then she told me she had something to remove the wax from my eyelashes. Witch was good but why didn't the other lady know about this wax remover?.. The owner was able to remove the wax. But my eye was still really red and swollen.. and up to now I can't believe I had this experience! This has never ever happen to me! I still think the lady should of been more careful! I've beeing going here for the past few years. The quality has gone down a lot- mainly because they are getting a lot of clients these days. The owner rushes manicures and pedicures when she sees people waiting. They treated my grandma roughly because they were running out of time. They always seem to be in a rush, poking people and not paying attention to detail. I once made an appointment and they made me wait over 45 minutes because they took so many walk ins, they didnt have anyone available to work on me. They dont respect appointments at all. Thats when I decided to try out a new nail place. Honestly, there are so many awesome nail places in moorpark. Just avoid this place. All they care about is $$. Read Less

NASTY! Just took off my polish from a few weeks ago and voila.... AWFUL nail fungus! Disgusting!  To make matters worse I  am entertaining all weekend and will not be able to wear sandals or flip flops now for months!!!  I am so sickened by this.  It is so freaking ugly.  Will never never never go there again. The purpose of going to a nail salon to get a manicure and pedicure is not only to maintain oneself, but also to relax from a busy schedule, even for just a little bit.  I did not expect to be cut, stabbed, and attacked by a member of their staff.  While getting my manicures and pedicures done, I have been stabbed by the staff on at least 5 occasions.  On one occasion, the staff sanded the bottom of my feet so much that I had trouble walking for about 2 days. Yesterday was the last chance I gave them.  The staff stabbed me with one of the salon's instruments while doing my nails, and almost cut my fingers with a nail cutter.Although the salon has decent prices and a good amount of tables and massage chairs, the lack of customer service and, most importantly, lack of training in technique is more than enough to keep me away from ever visiting this salon again. I've been coming to this nail salon for the last ten years. When I moved to Moorpark I tried a few different salons that had extremely long waits and did not do a good job with acrylics. Kenny has always done a wonderful job with my acrylics. Michelle has been very welcoming and kind over the years. She waxes my 12 year old daughters eyebrows and does a beautiful job. My pedicures I get will last me 4 weeks. If I've ever had a back experience with a pedicure the employee didn't last long. Michelle has always kept quality people at her salon. I will miss this salon very much when I leave the state next month. Read Less

I have been to this salon a few times now and have never been satisfied. They are extremely unorganized and tell you the wait is 5 minutes and they end up starting your pedicure 30 minutes later. I went along with my sister today and they had us wait 5 minutes to be seated in a chair. Once seated they started my sister immediately and started my pedicure 20 minutes later. This was a problem because we drove together. Then to make matters worse, during my pedicure she left to go clean another chair and then came back to me to continue my pedicure. My foot massage lasted only about 30 seconds which was also extremely disappointing. Then, after I had been there for well over an hour and she had finished with my manicure, she just left and never offered to help me with my sandals. I had to put them on myself and ended up smudging my nails. This was again, a terrible experience and I will not be coming back. Read Less

I came here because my usual place was closed and my toes were sore. The pedicure itself was decent. I got a regular $18 but she did try to upswell the deluxe for $14 more. When she was done she asked if I wanted a manicure. I said no. She told me I needed one and mumbled something about my cuticles. I told her I know I need one but I'll do it at home. Then she left me sitting there. After a few minutes I realized she wasn't planning on coming back to put my sandals on my feet. (Every other place I have gone does this.) So I got up and put my own sandals on, gave her a smaller tip than my standard and waited for someone to take my card over at the counter. She came over but didn't seem to know how it worked. She got some help, I signed my slip and left. Doubtful I'll go back after her rudeness. One more thing: the lotion they used smelled a bit like perfume. Not a fan of strong smelling lotion. First time coming. I dont get my nails done on a regular basis so when I go I want a great experience.  I went with my daughter who got acrylics. She said her experience was not as great because her nails were filed too long and it hurt a liitle ( a little over zealous - actually a little cut on her cuticle) but overall she was happy. My fiancée and I came in for a mani pedi and suffice to say we had very different experiences. My nails were neatly trimmed and the cuticles look excellent. My fiancée on the other hand had her fingers and toes abused and had a lazy job done. The man insisted that he could not trim her nails better and when she called him out on it, he started being much rougher with her to the point that her cuticles started bleeding a little. After that, he did a terrible job with her nail polish. Another lady came and did the best she could to fix the disaster, which was acceptable given what she had to work with. My fiancée's nails are still so short 2 days later that it is hard for her to pick things up. To top things off, they wanted to refuse to take a Visa card as payment. Nowhere were we informed that they only take cash. And then it turned out that they did have a card reader. HUH!?We will not be coming back and I do not recommend going. Read Less

This place is great. It's clean.  The price is reasonable and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a walk in pedicure. The last pedicure I got there lasted over a month and still looked perfect even after a few days on the beach.  This will definitely be my go I place in Moorpark. Read Less

I've been here before and I've never had anything bad to say, but I won't be back. I went in for a fill, pink and white, not too difficult. It took about 1.5 hours and all of my nails are slanted or lopsided some how, and some even have space between the white and pink!! I know it was close to 6:00 p.m. and they were probably ready to go home. The man who did my nails obviously had no idea what he was doing. The man who did my sister's nails must not have known either. She asked for acrylics, he put the nail extensions on and PAINTED right on them! While I was sitting in my chair, a girl came in for a fill, she was in and out within 30 minutes. I'm sorry, I won't be back. I'll drive the extra miles out to Simi Valley. Read Less

They accidentally put the callous remover on my cuticles and it ate away my skin and severely burned me. They said I was just allergic to the cuticle softener...no. I had my nails done there a few weeks ago and I was fine. It was definitely just an accident- the man used the wrong bottle, but wouldnt admit to it. =( . Anyway, people are looking at my cracked fingers in horror and it hurts to wash my hair because of the open wounds. After the man burned me he sat and played w his phone. No band aids, no nothing. And they *charged* me for the manicure. On top of all of that, my polish is chipped one day later. I normally would not even post a review in fear of hurting someone's business and livelihood, but this was just so awful and handled so terribly, that I feel like I have to alert people. Read Less

I love this place. The staff is always friendly unlike the others I have gone to in Moorpark. Especially the one in the Staples shopping center. I would highly recommend Nail Spa for all services they have to offer. For the complaint about the parking.....you have got to be kidding me???? There is always a plethora of parking. I would give this place 5 stars because they do a wonderful pedicure and the girls are very nice. However, the acrylics are terrible. I went there for 6 months (I was trying to give it some time) and constantly had one or more nails re-done. When I started going to another salon, I had to have all of my acrylics replaced at that first visit. Not only that, a few popped off and I was getting mold. The owners park their car in front of the business taking up a parking space that should be for the customers.
