I was visiting from Southern California and wanted to get my nails done & my friends chose this nail salon. Overall the experience was alright... we waited for a while but they were busy so I guess that's to be expected without an appointment. I'm giving 3 stars because the customer service wasn't that great. The First Lady that did my nails wasn't very friendly then she switched me to another lady halfway through getting my nails done. Then when this girl was done I asked for dollar bills for change and she asked "well how much are you going to tip" under her breath like she was annoyed that I didn't fall for the 5 dollar tip trick nail salon artists usually use. Went here to get a full set 2 days ago and 2 hours after I left one nail popped off. A day later 3 more popped off. I've gone other places where the acrylic was more solid and thick but here you could still see the plastic nail under. Would not recommend to anyone. Read Less

I recently had one of the best nail salon experiences I've had in this area (and I've been here for about 5 years!)From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed, they greeted me warmly, and helped me right away. I do recommend making an appointment if you have plans later on. They are packed!I got a gel pedicure and a full set of nails done. The pedicure was amazing, but the nails were the highlight of my experience. John, the owner, is known for his patience, attentional to detail, and phenomenal work on "ombré" nails, which is what I was going for. We talked and laughed and it didn't feel like your ordinary nail salon where they just get you in and out as quick as possible. There's a great vibe to this place with genuineness, but most importantly; the toes and nails look amazing!!! I've gotten countless compliments the past couple of weeks. Came to visit with my better half for a pedi to get the ingrowns worked on. Playing soccer with the cleats really messes the toenails. LOL, them dogs get messed up. We had heard of this salon from a person who sold us boba tea-Chopstix down the street.The nail technician did a really good job. No bleeding or flinching when she was digging out all of the "toe jam". The sanding of the bottom of the feet is always and adventure, I did kind of flinched and  squirmed in my seat. She did a nice job on massaging my feet, feels so good. Clean facility and nice magazine selection. Lots of customers for a late Saurday afternoon, a good sign. Read Less

I give this place 5 stars if you go to John! I typically go to him every time for my acrylic nails. I made the mistake of going to someone else in the shop as I was desperate for a fill. However, John is the best option! He took my messed up, horribly shaped nails and turned them into exactly what I want! It is totally worth the price and making an appointment with him. Read Less

Absolutely Impressed!I called ahead just to see if there was an opening because a lot of friends recommended this salon. I was expecting it to be pretty packed and I would have to wait. I called in, they said they definitely had space. So I went in, was seated immediately and was worked on. The atmosphere is so friendly, and everyone is so nice. The service was great as well! I've had my gel nails and fills done at Angel Nails since 2014 and I've been very happy with the quality. If a nail ever breaks or needs repair between appointments they will fix without additional cost. They have a really good selection of colors for gel and regular polish and they offer nail art. I like that the salon is clean and the nail techs always use disposable liners for the pedicure bowls and sterilized implements to keep those services as sanitary as possible.  My last couple of pedicures were not that great though and possibly the worst pedicures I've had since I can remember. The nail techs were on and off their cell phones with personal calls making their one-handed massage more annoying than relaxing. I think every customer deserves their undivided attention when paying for a service that is so hands-on, especially since part of the pedicure is a lower leg massage.  Still, I give Angel Nails five stars for the quality of their manicures, huge selection of colors and nail art, and the sanitary conditions of the salon. Not worth it.Went in December 2016 for a uv gel manicure (typically includes a base, gel, top coat, plus all the prep steps of softening, pushing and cleaning the cuticles).More people started coming in after I arrived. The manicurist started rushing through every step (except when she stopped work mid service to watch tv). She even rushed through the UV process which caused a couple of my nails to bend and curl outwards, peeling away from my skin. Tears. Read Less

Went in one morning without an appointment and they started on me right away. I went in with a full gel set from another salon and lily was amazing ! She complied with all my requests and reshaped my nails the way I wanted. She took her time and it was painless.. my gel color after 3 weeks still looks amazing and has not chipped or cracked! I wanted to wait until 2 weeks had gone by before writing this review, as I wanted to make sure that the acrylics, gel and polish had stayed on!  Well 2 weeks later they still are, and I should be able to get another week out of them!I don't live in this area but a few weekends ago I was really busy and didn't have time to get my nails done.  When I got into town I turned to Yelp to find a place where I could get a fill, pedicure and an eye brow wax.  This place had great reviews so I called and prices were good and they could take me in 30 minutes.  I had my pedicure done first then the gal who did my nails (in the front, seemed to the the Mgr), was fantastic.  Everyone was super friendly and I also made sure that they used a high end powder, I've experienced bad powder when being out of town before.I was in and out within an hour and a half and everything looks great!  I'll be back in that area in a few months time from now and I'll be sure to go back there for all my nail needs!  Great place, very clean, friendly and reasonable! I never get my nails done... guess they were able to tell and did not really care about how my nails would look. Came in and was rather quickly helped. The woman who did my nails was nice but worked a little fast, hence why my nails ended up the way they did. Came here because $25 for french tips is a great price but of course my nails didnt turn out that great. I have bubbles in 6 of my nails and on many the gel top coat was not laid evenly. I was originally going to go to another place but I wanted to give Angel Nails a shot... next time I do need my nails done it probably wont be here sadly. Read Less

On a short trip from San Francisco, my bff and I decided to get our nails done and chose Angel Nails because it was close to where we were staying. We both got pedicures for $25 and they were amazing!! The ladies really took their time and spent almost 10 minutes massaging our feet and calves. It was by far the best pedicure we've gotten. They did an amazing job the best I've ever had in the area and I've been pretty much everywhere scouting for the perfect place! The nails I like are hard to achieve nicely quickly , the coffin shape, but Susan did it in under 40 mins ten times better then most places take over an hour doing a uneven job. Love it !! Read Less

I've been going here for 5 years, I've never been disappointed. Every person has done a great job on both my fingernails and with my pedicures. Today though I'm extraordinarily pleased. I found a picture of ombré coffin shaped nails on Pinterest, took it in and I've got to say...perfection. I love them. I'm blessed with short stubby fingers and my hands look beautiful! Time is Money Today was the second time John at Angel Nails was late for my appointment -- 15 mins today after the shop owner called him (he was at the bank and not aware of the appt though I saw it written on the schedule book), and 40 mins the time before, again with someone needing to call him. After speaking with John, there seems to be a disconnect with appt info being relayed to him though he did cite all other appointment times he has today without looking at the schedule. In both instances, I feel a phone call to me explaining that he was running late would of been appropriate as then I could have made a decision to reschedule or cancel. This is a standard practice of many professional services groups as they respect their clients' or customers' time. I respect their time, too, by arriving early or on time. In speaking with the shop owner, she seemed to not really care or even appreciate that I was trying to help bring the disconnect to light so that it could be addressed. I have been coming here for almost three years and all the ladies are great.  Even if occasionally there is a little fix needed (VERY RARELY), they happily fix anything.  They have an amazing selection of colors and I'm never disappointed.  Not to mention how nice everyone is!!Linda has recently done the cutest hearts on my nails and I LOVE them!! I've been searching for a good nail salon for almost a year and finally found it! The color selection is huge, the menu is clear and states all of their (very fair) prices, and the manicurists have all been kind and friendly both times I've been there. Horrible experience. My reg nail salon was fully booked and I wanted to get a mani with a friend. So we stopped by this salon for the first and last time. I got my nails done by the owner and my manicure was literally 7 min long. She barely took off any hang nails and the polish is terrible. There's spots missing polish and not even a complete layer. $15 totally wasted and I had to ask another girl to help me fix a couple nails. Lesson learned! I noticed my coworker always has cool polish colors and she referred me to john here at Angel's. not only do they have a TON of gel colors but the staff is kind, the environment is clean and peaceful, and the massages are lengthy. I've been coming here a long time, and it seems to get worse every time. I've been here maybe 20 times for full set acrylic gel, and the past few experiences I've had were just horrible.The last three times I've been here, it was on the same set. The first time, a nail broke the next day and I went back and they fixed it, no charge. I changed the color to black as well.The next time I came back because I noticed that they used two different colors: one hand was painted in black, the other in a very dark purple color that they thought would slide. John did a color change for me and treated me wonderfully (he is the reason I would give this place any stars).I went back again a 3rd time today because another nail broke (my fault), but my thumb was chipped after only 3 days. They asked me if they were done here and I told them John did them, and then immediately turned me away because they were "too busy for such small thing"I liked this place in the beginning, but it's definitely not a place I'll be going any longer. I was super excited to get my nails done here because I had heard nothing but great things. My nails sadly came out uneven and they look like they're already in need of a fill. The edges of my nails weren't cleaned properly so you can see prior polish on the edges. Sad to say I'm never coming back. Read Less

I called and made a reservation for 12 o'clock today and I showed up on time. John started doing my acrylic gel nails, and he was so thorough and so precise. I got my nails done 2 days ago and they already chipped! I got gel so I would expect them to last at least a week or two.. The manicure also has bubbles throughout and my thumb has a part of my nail raised so it looks like it's going to chip very soon. The least she could have done is file it. They also did not cover my nail completely. The manicure after being two days old looks as if I had it on for over a week. I do not recommend this place at all. Read Less

My pedicure with a fabulous massage chair, was just great with Linda. $25 for a pedicure is fair. However, I was treating my 81 year old mother to a manicure also (She did not want a pedicure). She told the staff member "My" to put on whatever color, she wanted. Well, the $15 manicure turned into a $30 acrylic nail job !! Mother has hard nails and did not ask for nor need acrylics !!!! I should have made mother choose her nail polish and watched them more closely. So sad.   Update:  Mother had to return to have the polish taken off, not possible to remove at home. The staff was exceptionally nice and apologetic for the prior experience. They did not charge her. Thank You for understanding and correcting the aggressive sales behavior. Read Less
