The nail salon is dirty, some of the chairs are broken, the staff is rushed by the owner so they do a horrible job. It's always packed and I don't see how. Bad service ! The gel sucks ! I got my nails done with gel the next day both of my nails were peeling off.  I'm not really the type of person to complain. I came in for a manicure with bare nails with no polish. The lady put acetone on my bare nails wrapped in foil and left. Knowing full well it isn't healthy to put acetone on bare nails I took of the foil after a min. She never came back. I waited for 10mins and picked up my things and left. Okay so this place is very outdated, Customer service is not so great and cleanliness is not up to par. Unfortunately, I do not have many options for nail salons in Montebello so out of desperation, I have to come back here. I think they really need to improve their salon in so many ways. The nail techs are often distracted while doing your mani/pedi. They take phone calls while doing your mani/pedi which is so annoying. They stop doing your mani/pedi to converse with the other techs. This will forever be my nail place the owner Lilly is literally the sweetest woman ever she takes care of me and my family and my girl Ana is the only person I will trust with my nails. Never ceases to make my fingers and toes beautiful and at a great price. They are always busy because they're the best so I advise finding your specific nail tech and calling before hand to book an appointment. Extremely large selection for gels and colors and do color change and holographic. I can only have short nails since I'm in school for esthetician and they are so short but still on fleeek! Do not come here for waxing!!!! After the lady waxed my chin I felt my chin burn it was red but I didn't think any of it since my skin tends to react that way after I get a wax. I was in a rush so I paid, left, and headed home. Once I get home I felt my chin burn even more. I look at my chin area and I noticed my skin peeled in 2 areas. WTF!!!! 2 days later my chin looks like this. I have never ever experienced this. This is what I get for trying a new place. I can't even believe I'm putting a one star but I had no choice. Horrible place! Don't ever waste your time here please! After a couple nail places I'd tried out I still can't find a nice clean place. Rude and not even professional. Everyone with attitude, I asked for a color I saw on the samples I really liked she brings out a total different color 50 shades darker, I told her this is not the color I asked for she yelled at me and said "ITS THE SAME NUMBER"... I'm not a pedicure/manicure person at all and I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I've been in a nail salon so I can't really compare this experience to anything else.  Upon first entry I know this place is kinda grubby. It could stand some TLC, just building-wise but the ladies were very welcoming, quick, and they had Jeopardy on! I was feeling pretty glittery so I picked out just a clear polish with glitter in it, but the lady doing my toes (God bless her for getting SO CLOSE to my Fred Flinstone feet) brought over another color to layer the glitter on top of. So sweet! My toes are practically Barbie in the '90's now, being glittery and pink. She scrubbed life back into my feet gently and lotioned them up to resemble human feet once more. Made an appointment for eyelash extensions, arrived 10 minutes early and still waited another 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment and this is the 2nd time this has happened as far as making an appointment. I probably should have left after waiting because the eyelash extensions were (no nice way of putting it) horrible. I asked for a natural look and I walked out barely able to open my eyes. She glued on so many lashes and used so much glue I could see it when my eyes were open. It was hard for me to see and drive. When I called the next day requesting to have them removed she simply told me to use baby oil, Vaseline, and warm water. Where do I even start? I went to get a manicure and was told to wait around 5 minutes. The ladies were just talking and talking and made me wait over 20 minutes. They didn't acknowledge me at all.When they finally started doing my nails, she cut me in two of my fingers with her tools causing me to bleed! Used to come here all of the time because it's local but this place is seriously going DOWNHILL. It's always so crowded that the actual appearance of the place is so unkempt and unsanitary. It seriously looks like they haven't mopped their floors in weeks. TheRE's tissues and other trash all over the floors as well. The nail stations are cluttered with old nail clippings and other trash. PLUS they are super rough with your cuticles. I've been cut several times and when I let out an "ouch", the manicurist plainly stated that I was just sensitive instead of apologizing lmao. I understand that it's busy, however they let people that have come after you get served before you, without any appointment... my mother was waiting for an good hour before she received any service, they had her sit at a nail station and then they told her to go sit back down and wait cuz they needed to work on someone else first? as for me, I waited a good thirty minutes, not to mention they rush you to choose a color and don't have a very customer-friendly attitude when you actually voice your concerns. This will be the last time I come to this salon, which is unfortunate since it's so close and the prices are relatively decent. I've been looking around for a nail place close to where I live that way I wouldn't have to drive to my usual nail place in Pico Rivera. Anyways, I'm so glad to have found this place. I made an appointment Thursday evening for the next day (Friday) at 4pm. I ended up showing 30 mins late cause of work and the place was beyond packed. I didn't expect to get seated so quickly but within the time I walked in & picked my nail color before I knew it I was being seated at a spa chair. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. These bad reviews honestly shock me! I've been coming to this nail salon for MONTHS and I always leave more than satisfied! (Of course I'm no one to speak for everyone else) but I will say that personally, I love this place! Tonight I was going crazy looking for a nail salon that was open at 9pm (crazy, I know) & when I gave up hope and was driving back home I saw they were still open! I walked in at 9:20pm & they took me in! No rude remarks or annoyed faces. My technician did an AMAZING job & took her take! I'm so thankful they were patient with me. I've been to this nail salon quite a few times, never had a bad experience as far as the way they do nails. However, some of them are a bit pushy. The last time I went there I was offered sea salt, design on my nails, design on my toes, gel, callus remover, and waxing.
