My first time there, and I am pleasantly impressed by the way my nails turned out. Lati did my manicure and my pedicure. She did exactly as I asked and more. Super happy with their service. Is true is not the cheapest in town but is very, very good for everything beauty. Georgina has done my nails several times and she is fantastic. I am also very happy with the way Susana has help me to improve my skin and reduce acne and scarring. Even other people has noticed it and got compliments! I never had a better skin. I've been having a Hollywood wax for a year now with Leanne she's fantastic! Don't have any complaints she is thorough never a hair left! No discomfort at all EVER! I am extremely hairy and my hair is so corse and never once have been "hurt" during my wax! I have been a regular customer for over a year now and have been coming to have a Hollywood wax every 6-8 weeks. The last two waxes I have had have been well below standard and were both done by the same person. The first one was on the 15th of August and by the time I went on holiday on the 27th of August I had significant regrowth. It caused me agony where the hairs were rubbing me. I have never had this before with a wax, it felt as if I had shaved. I have been getting a H...ollywood for many years and I am shocked at how bad this is. I thought maybe this was just a one off but it has happened again. I had a wax on the 12th of September and I am extremely uncomfortable again today on the 21st. It is a level of discomfort that feels like a burning itch because the hairs are rubbing me constantly. Both waxes have been done by Kelly who is a lovely person but I am completely convinced is not able to do a Hollywood wax. I don't think it is acceptable for a wax to cause pain and I also don't think it's acceptable to have significant regrowth after a week. I have phoned today to complain and request that I'm seen this weekend because I cannot suffer the same pain again waiting for it to regrow. I have been offered a pathetic 25% discount on my next wax. I am absolutely shocked that the salon are not rushing to fix their terrible work. I've been coming to Simplicity since I moved to Surbiton. A couple of months ago I started working with Susana to try to finally beat my teenage acne hangover (still pretty rampant at age 30). I'm so pleased that I did - I'd practically given up (having tried various things over the years) but, on my new 'regimen', for the first time in my life my pores are clearing up, my blackheads are disappearing and my recurring spots are getting smaller and less frequent. Susana always ...explains everything she's doing and how it should feel, which I really appreciate as I was previously a facial novice and get nervous easily with any kind of tingle on my face! She's also really careful and clear with her instructions on what to do day to day... again, critical for me. I'm really excited to see where we get to I've also had all my waxes at Simplicity since moving, so I've seen everyone there now at least once - and every time it's been a great experience for me; particularly with Leanne from a pain perspective (somehow!), but still great and really thorough with everyone I've seen there. Best pedicures in town! My mom and I enjoy coming to this lovely place every time we're in need of relaxing spa treatments for our feet. I have had waxing for 4 years and I went for a waxing session here. The lady waxing me was rushing all the way through, covering (literally) half of my body in wax and then taking it off at speed of light. Often she would only half pull the wax doubling the pain. It took only 20 minutes to do half of my body (usually takes 45 min or longer). I had wax on my clothes, head hair, armpits. Everywhere.... I complained about the speed and carelessness of the service. I was replied she only had 30 minutes, including getting dressed and undressed, so she had to stick to that time. UNBELIEVABLE. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told the manager was not available. I was still asked to pay full price. I am still taking off wax from my clothes and body. AWFUL service. Today was my second visit at royal,  I first walked in to get my nails done but since availability was limited I pursued a pedicure that went accordingly with no hassle.. my toes done by A different employee did a swell job .. although when it came to a full set of Curlich nails I had a horrible experience this time around... my nails came out UGLY, CLUMPY, & all around too wide n thick... I had my requests as any consumer would.. but apparently according to Jasmine employee there at royal stated in her opinion she felt I was too intimidating to deal with also on behalf of her speaking upon other employees.. mind you never did she make any statements prior to insisting on doing my nails after my toes where finish and went along and guided me to her chair to proceed with the full set of gel Curlich nails. only upon finishing touches she felt the need to voice her opinion!! And as once she did I was completely offended..  Jasmine "" stated I can no longer get my nails done only my feet(pedicures) and when I continue to ask why she went on with stating how I was basically an inconvenient customer to her business.. too complicated in other words... which is entirely unacceptable.. and Utterly ride!!  I kindly responded to her, making her aware that I will no longer come back for just a pedicure, I will no longer come back at all and that I would be leaving a horrible review in her honor! The amount of disrespect I felt after leaving her nail salon with the nails sheep poorly provided me with have left me furious!! Hope all future  consumers find there experiences at royal a lot more pleasing than I have this morning.. but my overall experience was horrible & I will not return nor make any referrals.. Jasmine is really nice!!!! They do a really nice job here but unfortunately over book so even if you have an appointment it will take 10 or 20 minutes for them to see you. I appreciate that they don't use the buzzer machine to take off gel polish as that is incredibly damaging to your nails. Be wary of places that do that. I'm a fan! Personal professional service, good prices and the place is Clean. They take walk-ins but the place does get Busy, so I always try to book an appointment if I can. Lots of colors to choose from. I get the gel nails. When I came to Royal Nails (from using other salons) I was having a problem with the gel sticking to my nails, that I had got at other salons. * Jasmine figured out the issue with my nails! I have had my lip skin pulled off by their lip waxing. They have dealt with my complaint in such a bad way. Very unprofessional in management, service, standards and should not be able to operate with subline service- or go back to school to train! My pics are horrendous such a shame I cannot post them! The color quality was horrible, had to get them redone for another color, one nail was shorter than all the rest, uneven nails, and bad service.
