It was my first time coming to Queens Nails and I had the worst experience. I wanted a pedicure and manicure, while I was getting my pedicure the guy was making fun of my feet and showing the other guy. Then he started calling me fat and saying I'm too big, my friend step in and mentioned I'm pregnant, I'm only 7 months and took it very offensive, he should just do his job and not talk at all if he doesn't have anything good to say.(he did not apologize or say anything after she said I was pregnant)  I let it go and let him do my manicure,  Not only did he not want to do a little design I wanted he did a sloppy job painting them. So I went back myself and got them done with her, I don't usually get short nails because I feel like they look weird on me but she did such a good job that I actually feel good with the ones I got. This place is the scum of nail salons. I was appalled by their service, treatment and interaction with clients. Not only did they have me waiting for 30 minutes on a chair waiting for a pedicure. They had me move around to three different stations to finally sit me in a chair. They decided to do both my gel fill and pedicure at the same time. Asked me to pick a color in which I asked to see polishes matching for nails and feet. Made a choice and handed to lady going pedicure. She was doing my feet, and had to tell her many times to correctly file my nails, due to her filing crooked. Now people, I don't complain so this got serious. It was that bad. Lady doing my nails was doing good but I asked her repeatedly to shorten my nails and finally she did after the fourth or fifth time asking to do so. Both starting painting around the same time. I asked immediately for lady to stop painting my toes, she was doing such a bad job. In which lady doing my hands said it's okay I will correct any mistakes. She was applying gel and I noticed this pink was three times darker than the color I chose. So I said, this isn't even my color. And they said yes we changed for you so it matches. Remember how I asked for only matching polishes in the beginning after sitting down. After there shit talking in their language, I decided please remove all polish. I'm done with their rudeness and service. She made me pay the bill for 42 dollars. I even asked why so high when services weren't complete. I paid and left, but walked right back, it didn't sit right with me that I got charged for a service that I wasn't even serviced properly or happily. So I walked back and asked for a refund. Now, this Asian lady starting yelling at me and said don't come back. All because I demanded a refund. I should've never paid them, and just walked away. But they're a shit hole, for their service, colors and especially how thy take criticism. We all work hard for our money, it's only 42 dollars but a person expects to receive what they're paying for. This place is nothing special at all. I called asking if they could do a faded white tip into pink acrylic nails, basically an ombré, and they said yes. After I arrived there I showed two of the workers a photo of exactly what I wanted and they both said that it could be done and it would be a couple minutes before I could be seen. After waiting 40 minutes I observed only two nail technicians actually working, one pedicurest hurrying people with their pedicures (each pedicure I saw lasted about ten minutes), and three other employees walking around or just sitting and not working. It was quite frustrating. When it was finally my turn to get serviced the nail technician told me she could not do what I wanted, she could only do a simple white tip. I waited all that time, after asking and getting confirmation from three people, for them to give me the run around. Very disappointed in this place. Their work is also mediocre, it always leaves my finger tips sore, and after I waited 40 minutes and then had work done on my nails for 30 minutes, the technician finally realized I was 7 months pregnant. I went to get a pedicure and I pretty much got my feet soaked in warm water and then my cuticles picked at. Then they topped it off with a sloppy polish job. Don't go here I recommend going to Cong's in turlock its pricy but so worth it. Read Less

I used to come here all the time, for years and years to get my nails done. Ive come here a few times in the last year for pedis now. The last time i came he cut my nail corner at an angle and it was tender as it grew back out. I decided to come once more because its fairly close and cheap. Today was the last day ill be back. When he was clipping my cuticles, he was DIGGING and DIGGING into my skin and i said "that kind of hurts." No response. "Hello, sir? That hurts." No response. My friend with me laughed at this point because there was no possible way he didnt hear me, I am not shy and i was using a firm voice. "Excuse me?!!!???" The lady doing my friends toes even looked over at me.  Finally the guy stopped. I almost walked out at this point but didnt want to leave my friend in the middle of her pedi. I am PAYING to get a nice pedi and feel relaxed after being on my feet at two different jobs hours on end 6 days a week. Not to hve u do what u want and ignore me. I dont care if u think something will look better a certain way, if i want it done a little less, you listen to me, the customer giving you money. Should of read the reviews 1st before going here. Paid $65! For a deluxe pedicure and shellac nails on my own nails. The paper they put in between my toes to messed up my polish. I told the lady she just went over again with color and sent me on my way. They were still not fixed noticed it when I got home. Which is not far from the salon so I know I didn't mess it up myself. Absolutely abominable experience. Was pressured to buy services I did not want or need, which never ended throughout the whole experience, despite my saying, "No!" The quality of service was terrible. They rushed through a mani/pedi without doing any real filing or buffing (literally scratched a file across each nail for 1/2 second each). Polish was uneven and all over my skin. They skipped aspects of the pedi (like pumice stone rub). Please spare yourself and don't waste your time or money like I did. I've been here 3x so it's safe to say I'll never be back again. The first time I was here I asked for gel nails and acrylic was used instead. I hate acrylic. My nails were filed so thin it hurt to have nails put on.The second time I was here I asked not to have my nails filed at all and the guy doing my nails gave me attitude about it.The third time I was here I had gel/UV nails done and the lady kept grabbing and flinging my hands angrily because I didn't want my cuticles cut. Then while my nails were drying, I kid you not, she took a paper towel out from her pocket sitting directly in front of me and she wiped both of her armpits with it before putting it back in her pocket. I really like this place. I have been coming here with my mom to get my nails done. The guy name BRUCE is awesome. I have no trouble of telling him what I want because he speaks English very well. I kind of look through the reviews here and find one mistake him as someone else. The review of CARINA says that she kind of guessed it was bruce who did her nail. Many times people may mistake another guy as him. As the matter of fact, I have seeen peope coming in and mistook another guy who did a bad job as bruce. There are 2 workers that seem to be on the phone all the time, Darlene and Don. So I guess Carina must mistake Don as Bruce. Bruce would never be "mopping around" the phone like you said. Don is on the phone many times during his work. So if you don't remember exactly who did your nails, please don't ruin somebody's reputation like that. Give Bruce back his credit. Read Less

I met a friend here today, and I got a manicure with shellac. I chose red, white, and blue for the 4th of July. The red and blue shellac was done nicely, but the white could've used some more delicate work. It's slightly uneven around my cuticle beds, which is slightly annoying. A man did my manicure, and it was average. He took his time cleaning my cuticles, which was nice, but the massage with lotion was really short. However, I liked how he asked me how I wanted my nails cut and did an experimental cut on my pinkie to make sure I liked the length. He was a little hard to understand, though. What surprised me was the cost: $29! I am used to paying $25 and less, and with tip and everything, it was over $30.Although this was a decent nail salon, I can go down the street here in Turlock (where I live) and get a manicure that's equally as good for a little cheaper. If I could give this place a 0 I seriously would. Maybe only I have had a bad experience but let me tell you, it's the worst I've had at ANY salon. I was getting a fill done and rather than filing down or cutting the parts that had lifted, all the manicurist did was go over it with acrylic - when I was finally able to get into my regular salon, my nail lady had to remove the nails and start fresh because of how bad of a job was done.
