Extremely unprofessional and rude pretty quick service but at the risk of cuts infections and extremely racist I watched them tell a young lady of color she had to wait and a lady came in after her and they immediately took the older lady she was extremely appalled that the young lady had been the way before there for she had no appointments either will never step foot in there again. My nails were horrible . All of them were different shapes and when I went back to ask for a refund I was told that they couldn’t give me a refund because they had done nothing wrong . I payed 40$ for acrylic and shellac. The lady cut me with the drill as well. Over priced and they came out so bad. If you want good nails go to polished nail and spa on mchenry not here. Usually come to this place with my sister. We love getting our nails done from here. The staff is super friendly and they do your nails exactly how you want it. The wait time isn't that long either. Went in on a saturday and only waited about 15 minutes! Love love this place and so happy how my nails came out. Read Less

I normally do not post a response if it is not positive but my experience here was so terrible that I feel I have to. When I entered the shop it was busy but she assured me the wait would be only 20 minutes and I waited 40 which wouldn't have been bad had my nails come out nicely but they did not. I showed her the design I wanted and asked her if she could do it and she said she could. She painted one fingernail and I realized she could not so I asked her for something simpler. She became angry and did a poor job removing the gel. When she finished it was sloppy and there was gel crammed under my nails. When I pointed it out to her she took the sharp end of a file and crammed it under my nails to dislodge the gel. Overall, it was a painful and unsatisfying experience. I work hard for my money so I don't like to just waste it which is what I did by going to that shop. Worst $30 I've ever spent. If I could give it no stars, I would. Stopped by here for a manicure before doing some grocery shopping at the nearby Savemart. The wait time was not long at all and I was able to see one of the nail techs. The atmosphere in the salon was very nice. The one thing that stuck out was the cleanliness of the salon. I got my nails done and they looked great, also the prices were very reasonable. I have been going to nail salons for over 16 years now, and This is definitely on my top five list of horrible salon service. If I could read it is zero I would. The older lady with glasses helped me with my shellac gel fill. Here's strike 1:I had to point out that she had shape the tip of my finger and a crooked slant. At first she tried to act like she did not see this very obvious miss shaped nail, then realize that I was not going to keep quiet about it and she had to fix it. So she did. Strike 2:She took the longest time to do the sloppiest job of painting my nails. I was in a hurry and on a time crunch, so when I looked at my emails and saw that there was shellac all over my cuticle and in between my nail and nail beds, I had thought to myself I will come back and have her fix this.Strike 3 and 4:I came back to get them fixed and a matter how many times I said I did not want her to "fix" them, they had her do it anyway. She argued with me about the color that I had gotten last time insisted that it was a much more orange version of the one I had. As she starts to paint them I start telling her right away but that is the wrong color. She still insisting that it's the right color and continues to paint all of them. I told her again wrong color. She then told me "watch after the second coat you'll see it is that color." After the second coat I told her again it is not the right color and I got up and grabbed the color from right behind her and showed her the correct color. She was annoyed and it showed as she painted them extremely fast to rush through it. They look worse now than they did before. Moral of the story is: I rather go 50 miles out of my way and spend twice as much money , than to have my nails look the way they look now and be treated the way I was. Read Less

Horrible Place always dirty they don't clean the tub from the pedicure chairs they use used items on customers! Did my nails and feet and they only cut my hands and feet I'm literally bleeding. Very unhappy 1-26-17 at 430pm. They are Very rude and will not fix any mistakes they make . one of the workers kept on trying to convince me to spend more money. She did a horrible job and i asked her nicely to re paint my nails and she said no! And started yelling in my face!! Thats no way to treat a paying customer! and they are racist btw. I didnt want to pay her a dime but i paid her anyways because i am kind hearted. No one should go there.do yourself a favor and Go somewhere else. Read Less
