I came here two days ago and received a shellac manicure. I could already tell by the way the nail tech was applying the polish and barely letting me keep my nails under the light, that my nails weren't going to last. Just two days after, my nails began chipping and I was already irritable, as I knew this was going to happen. I returned today to have my 4 nails fixed and the entire time, it was nothing but humiliating and awkward. I could feel that the 3 ladies were speaking about me and my nails. After she was done fixing my nail, I kept it professional and still thanked her for her time. She stares and me and doesn't bother to say anything but "3 dollars". I looked at her and chuckled because I couldn't believe they weren't going to own up to THEIR mistake! So of course, I had to pay. Love this place everyone is so friendly and they are also very reasonable priced. Been coming here for years now never have had a bad time. I've even seen them handle disgruntled customers with exceptional service. I get long black stilettos tips and have been to other places where I leave with crooked rips. I Sat today in a spa chair for a hour soaking my feet just to watch the lady's skip me for hour there was another lady they told come back in an hour and they will do her Mani pedi when she came back in an hour they did her right away. Left unhappy, went to cheer myself up to be told basic hearts was a lot of work. Designs I was choosing was too much work. Took 35 mins 2 people to draw a basic heart and 3 dots. I went there because it was the place I went to for my 8th grade dance to get my nails. Unfortunately I was left even more upset. But it is what it is. I have been coming to this salon since I was 15 I am now 28 ever since we moved to Modesto this was the go to nail salon for myself and my family I never had a problem always friendly and even though their color selection wasn't that great they always did great with acrylic and pedicures I started noticing a few years back that the employees started being rude I don't know if the just start feeling comfortable with the client but I had been noticing this for a while I never liked the fact that when they were done with customers as soon as they would leave they would start sharing things about them to other customers I just always found that really unprofessional I remember this one particular day my mom,sister and I went in to get pedicures well we all paid and as we were walking out the owner Patricia yells out to my mom "where is his tip!" Asking my mom where the tip for the person who did her toes my mom answered I already gave it to him ... I previously worked as a server for a few years and I would have NEVER asked anyone for a tip! That comes from them depending how good of a job you did regardless of that my mom had already handed him a tip so why make it her business to ask her for a tip sorry but to me that was just annoying I was there last Friday  because I needed to get a manicure and pedicure done for that weekend it was the closest thing so After getting some errands done with my husband and 8 month old we decided to stop there she asked what I needed to get done so I told her a new set and a pedicure but I asked if I could get them both done at the same time since I had done so before plenty of times and I had my husband and is I mention my teething 8 month old so I thought hey if I get them both done I'll cut my time about an hour since I didn't want my baby to start getting fussy in there she abruptly said NO we're going to do the manicure and then the pedicure I said Uhm ok so I picked my color sat down with Kenny (which is always so quiet,minds his own and does a great job he's Patricia's husband) so he gets started another young lady walks in and they sit her down  tell me why they start doing her manicure and pedicure at the same time! So my husband walks up to me and says he why did they tell you no but they told her yes..you should ask or say something  I said I don't know but at this moment I honestly don't care I will not be giving them anymore of my money and I will not be coming back he had already started with my nails so i decided to just get those done their customer service has gone down the drain and I feel like they've become greedy people I will never go back to this place they have lost my business for good Read Less

The girl who my nails was very friendly. The rest seemed not to be. The salon is dirty, needs a little organization.My nails were done in timely manner but I did not like how she did them. The polish looks a bit bumpy and one nail wasn't smoothed out right so it looks awful at the cuticle. I don't think I will return. Read Less

This is not even worth one star . This was the absolute worst place I haver ever been to in my life. It was my first time there and my last time too. They made you wait forever and I showed the guy a picture of how I wanted my nails and he makes them totally different and expects me to be ok with it. He started blaming it on me saying I have weird nail beds. It is so wrong of them to make customers feel like there's something wrong with them. He didn't bother finding a solution for me not liking my nails instead he wanted to charge me for the set I didn't like as well as a new set. Why should I pay for two sets including one on which I hated. He used the same brush on my nails as the girl before me he didn't even bother cleaning or sterilizing it. Then the girl that did my pedicure rushed through it so fast doing a half ass job just cuz they were busy. I'm sorry but I'm paying you here I deserve good customer service. These people were rude and made a scene In the salon and turned to other customers asking them what they thought about my nails which made me even more uncomfortable. Worst place I have ever gone too! It's like they want to do the nails however they like and not what you want. If I'm paying for something I believe it should be done how I want! That lady that works in the first nail stand (Patricia? Beatrice?) was so rude to me. I came in asking for my nails to be done a certain shape. She kept asking the question of what shape I wanted over and over again confusing and making herself mad. She handled my nails in such a rude manner and even cutting me with the drill.  It was clear she was mad and reflected her professionalism (if she had any) in the worst way. SHE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO LISTEN TO HER CUSTOMER'S REQUESTS. At the end before she painted my nails she wanted me to pay her before she painted them as if I wouldn't after it was done? She was talking offensively to me when asking me to pay her NOW. Saying that I was being picky and wasting her time. Excuse me? Wasting your time? I'm paying you!!! At one point, she didn't want to listen to what I had to say so she handed me the nail file and told me to do it myself. I was not rude to her at all, but she was extremely disrespectful to me. Best nail shop I've been to overall around the valley. I've tried many over the last seven years or so and this is by far the best. Amazing selection of colors for acrylic as well as regular polish and gel. The nail techs make you feel very comfortable and do a great job! Worst place ever! The moment you walk in here it smells of acetone! Apparently they have no air circulation in here. Also I waited 30 minutes when they told me that I was going to be seen in five minutes. After 30 minutes passed I asked how much longer they said, "20 minutes" only after multiple attempt on trying to ask them. Worst customer service ever! I will never be coming back here. Read Less

I chose this place because of  the good reviews it got here on Yelp, I can say with a smile on my face I had a very good experience here! I brought my mother her with me for her Birthday & early mothers day gift and they got us in right away! I really liked how they spoke English and they talked to my mother & I !  while I was there they started to get busy and it seemed like every time someone walked in they new there first name, that tells me they take their time to get to know there customers !
