I always go to get my nails filled. Jenny always does this service for me. She’s amazing! I’ve been going to her for almost 2 years. I came in here yesterday to get my birthday nails but I came out very disappointed. This was done SO RUSHED ! I was out there in less than 25 minutes. I've gone to Pink N' a few times now. I think they are a little pricey but have always done a good job so it evens out. This is the reason for 2 starts instead of 1. They do good nails. I got my nails & toes done last night and never have I ever felt so uncomfortable at a Nail Salon in my life. I'm 30 years old and have gotten my nails done religiously since I was 16. Just to give you some background on my nail history. I'm Vietnamese. I speak & understand it but I have a dark complexion. As soon as I sat down in the chair they started bad mouthing me. I was in shock, because I have talked to the same ladies in Vietnamese before. I tried to give her signals to alter her attitude. Nothing worked, the workers continued to talk trash about all the ladies in their establishment. I stopped making eye contact nor had any reason to have a conversation.\ I was OVER It. After I finished, I went to pay, and they tried to charge me $70 for a fill + pedi. I asked for the basic package for a pedicure ($20/Monday special) but because it was "gel" they charged me $35. Why did no one tell me how much more a "gel" pedicure would be? There was no listed price on their signage either. At this point, I didn't want to have anything to do with them. They were so unprofessional, literally arguing with me in front of their whole staff/customers. I gave them my card, and said just charge it. I also added that I understood EVERYTHING they were saying. They need to know it's not OKAY. So here's is your warning, if you think they are talking about you.. THEY ARE. No doubt. Came here for a spur of the moment pedicure and was pleasantly surprised and pampered for the next 75 minutes! Apparently Monday-Wednesday there is $3 off all pedicures. What a deal! The chairs were comfortable, baths clean and sanitary with a removable liner for every client and the tools were sterilized in a sealed pack. The lady painting my nails took her time and wasn't pushy about upsaling any services or products. The massage was oh so relaxing along with paraffin wax treatment. I had a spa pedicure and shellac today but it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The technician rushed my spa pedicure, didn’t even massage my legs or feet (applied lotion and called it a day), my toenail polish already chipped on 2 of my toes, and when I asked why she skipped the massage and topcoat she said she already did both. For reference, the woman next to me started before me and was still getting a massage when I was completely done. The technician told me the s...hellac was $25 but when I paid I was charged $35. I questioned it and they said it’s $10 extra for the manicure which is fine if she would’ve told me that when I asked. My shellac has bubbles and aren’t smooth like they usually are. Also, she never gave me a hand/ arm massage even though she charged me extra for the manicure. This is my absolute favorite nail salon in the area! Since relocating from the east coast, I tested out several nail salons in the North San Jose area. By far, this is the best one! The service from Lana is outstanding! She does an amazing job and my nails look wonderful! I've also tried Benny/Jenny and few other techs here and they were just as great in my opinion. The location is perfect! It's in a huge shopping center with plenty of parking spots. I've never had an issue finding parking right in front of the spa. The best time to go is during the week as they seem pretty busy during the weekend. The prices are also discounted during week days.For payment, they accept all cards. I hate going to the bank to withdraw money like a pilgrim to pay tips at nail salons so the fact that I can add the tip to my card here is freaking wonderful! I didn't have a good experience here.I had an appointment for mani and pedi.  I felt rushed the moment I got in.They sat me in a chair and basically suggested I go with this package and that, I remember my bill was $70-80.I wanted shellac so they had me holding the LED light on top of a pillow while this other lady was scrubbing my feet and while one hand is in the machine.  As some of you may guess, you can't really get a good grasp of holding an LED light when your other limbs are elsewhere. I did understand why she had me holding the LED light since they were busy.  But what I didn't get was why the lady who was doing my manicure started to get frustrated and saying -ish in Vietnamese (I know because I am) and the lady doing the pedicure was not professional either.  You can't expect me to stay still when I have my foot scrubbed?  Also maybe its an Asian thing but they both stared at me for a long time at me and didn't say a word.I just felt uncomfortable and that I was the one being a big disservice to them.I think the owner rang me up seem very sincere and caring about your experience, too bad I didn't get her.BUT I did see regulars who seem to really enjoy themselves. Paid 50$ for a full set and I didn't even get what I wanted, my manicurist talked me out of a design that I wanted and I was really disappointed. 50$ seems like a lot for a pink and white ombre when I really wanted a chrome design. I came here because of the neat designs and wonderful work, but my fingers were so sore when I had gone to bed that night, I don't think it was worth it. I'm a flight attendant and overnight in the area often. I desperately needed my nails done and don't like to have them done anywhere but home. I decided to give this place a try and had a FABULOUS experience!! Tram was my technician and did a great job!! Been coming back and forth to here and another nail salon and feel equally to both places. I had a really good experience with Mindy, as she made my disastrous nails look pretty again. Mindy took her time on me and I didn't feel rushed. She was also patient with me being tense and just kept telling me to relax. She fixed up my toes and gave them a whole new shape, which I don't mind because they look prettier compared to the typical square. My nails also broke and became very thin, so she cut my nails short and shaped them as perfect as she could, since they were all sorts of shapes. The techs here apply the coats evenly and take their time on the pedicures. A little costly, but worth your money. I've walked in a couple times without an appointment and they've been able to take me in. I'd recommend coming in on a weekday afternoon where it's not nearly as busy. Read Less

I have been going to the same nail salon for years, but I recently started a new job in Milpitas and thought I'd try a different salon in the area out. Hopped on Yelp and made a same day appointment with Pink N Nails.I was impressed when I first walked in. The establishment was quite large which meant tons of pedicure/manicure stations and employees. I was sat immediately even though I was 15 minutes early for my appointment. Things were off to a great start!Once my tech started on my nails, I immediately noticed how rough she was. I told her I preferred my cuticles untouched but she said that I had a lot, so I listened and she cut away. She was quite aggressive with the scissors which made me slightly uncomfortable, but I must admit that in the end she did a great job.What really ticked me off was the quality of the polish that was used. I picked lavender gel polish, and after 4 days, my nails started staining brown. Mind you, I work in an office where my hands do not by any means come in contact with an abundance of dirt. I was super confused, and washed my hands even more than often in attempts to wash it off. After a week, I was so disgusted that I removed the gel nails because they looked incredibly brown which was totally embarrassing!! Can't believe I paid $30 + $5 tip for this kind of quality.I frequently get gel nails, and this has never happened to me in the past. Ironically, in the past when I had gel nails I was probably coming in contact with more dirt as I was going to school, and still this brown staining never happened to me. The most shocking factor though? My normal nail salon only charges $18 for a gel manicure. The absolute worst I've ever had my nails done in like 10 years. Received a NEW SET from the owner, not only were my nail lengths not matching (one pointer was way bigger and longer than the other) they were filed terribly(rough feeling) then, the area by my cuticles were so bad it looked like a child did them. One of my nails looked like it had grown a week already the same day I had it done. And the worst part is, the new set started lifting off and my hair kept getting stuck in those nails after only 1 week.Read Less

I had the Deluxe Mani Pedi, so I got the feet and leg scrub and massage. All of that was good. The young man was nice. The nail lacquer....I could do just about as good myself. I just wasn't impressed. It's been years since I had a full set of nails. I am fairly picky but I was up for something new. I had heard a friend recently coming here so I thought I would give it a try. I'm sure they have good nail technicians here however I did not get one. I wasted $ and asked my lady to reshape 2x buy she had trouble understanding me as I did her. It happens I know but in all reality, it shouldn't. They shouldn't be super thick(unless you request that). They shouldn't leave thick acrylic that has ran over under your nails. They were rough. I debated what to do. I have been going here to get my nails done for months, & I have never been so happy and satisfied with my nails before until I started going to Pink n Nails. I never have a broken, chipped or worn nail color and I can leave my nails up to 3 weeks without a fill and still have them look as beautiful as the day I got them done. The salon itself is well designed and relaxing as soon as you step in. The staff is very warm & welcoming and patient with kids which is a double thumbs up from me!
