I had an appointment, first time there, I bought their most expensive pedicure package, it was rushed, and my nail polish was done quickly as well and looks terrible. I have been going to kim now 14 years and there is a reason i think in 14 years i have broke 3 nails due to my fault! Everyone always! Friendly and courteous to everyone! There are many nail saloons around and you wouldnt find one better! Theres always those customers that think that the business owes them everything for free! I had the most horrible experience with “Kim” (the owner)??? She does not take responsibility for her work! I told her (n showed) her all the cut skin on every single nail, she argued that I requested her to cut my nails short enough so they don’t show with my new set..she became offensive n belligerent, she denies she made a mistake! I told her my nails were lifting (never b4, I’ve been doing acrylic for over 30 years) I’ve never seen a nail lift!! She argued “yet again” stating my nails lifted b/c I took one month to maintenance..this is sooo not tru! I have waited up to 2 months n never had a nail lift..she was loud n totally embarrassed me!! I have been to this salon twice and both visits were great.  The salon chairs are very comfortable, the staff very friendly and great service.  The pedicures were done very well and my feet felt great after word.The prices are decent and they are open on Mondays which allot of nail Salons aren't.  I go on Mondays as it is less crowded than the weekends. Unfortunately I will no longer be coming to them as of today . two of my daughters went in to get waxed and while one was being done the other witnessed the girl use same stick on my daughters face and then going back into wax repeatedly..very unsanitary.. Will never go back here! Wish I had caught her name but the girl that did my pedicure gouged my cuticle with the clippers and when I jerked my foot away she didn't even apologize and tried to pretend it didn't happen! SO RUDE! Also, she was in a huge hurry when she did my leg massage and it wasn't relaxing AT ALL! When I got home, I had 3 small cuts on my toe and two of them weren't even close to my cuticle! This is actually my second time posting about this spa. I came in over a year ago... might have been 2 and had an awful experience. Then management changed and I went back and actually had a good experience. My daughter went about 4 days ago and got a full set of nails and it was the worst set I've ever seen. All of her nails looked like they just glued them on and didn't use any type of fill, like press on nails. One of the nails was actually almost off of her nail already. The paint was awful and was nothing like the picture she showed the person. The paint on her nail was not all the way painted on the sides of her nail and it looked like they let the first layer dry and then slopped  on the second because you could see it on the nail. It was goopy. 4 days later and we went to a different nail salon to see if they could fix it and literally the guy took a fake nail put it under her nails and they all popped off!!!!! Went to this place with my mother in law and grandmother. Heard good things about this place and the reviews seemed good. It was packed but no big deal, we waited. The lady who did my pedicure rushed through it and even skipped steps. I believe she was in a hurry to get to her next appointment. My mother in law then mentioned that my pedicure was way shorter than grandmas, after saying so the lady who did my pedicure jumped up from her other appointment speaking very loudly so the whole salon was now looking and pretty much told us we were wrong and she was just faster at her job than the other lady. She stood there yelling at us even after trying to ignore her. Extremely embarrassing. She then started speaking her language with the other workers, obviously about us. Very disappointed with my nails. The shape is all bumpy, didn't do absolutely any cuticle work, I'm sure it would've been extra, my finger nails are all dry and ugly. The lady who did my nails was seriously looking around the entire time or to her neighbors work, and not paying attention to her work. Also, this salon charges you extra for everything. Been using this business since September 2016 because another local salon is always getting written up by the State of California for sanitary issues, primarily the foot spas.The service is much better at Red Persimmon, so I am happy that a lady who cut my hair at Supercuts recommended this nail salon to me.  In September 2016, I did not have an appointment but there was no waiting for a long overdue pedicure, which was sweet.  I didn't take pictures of that visit, but I had some typed notes in my Yelp bookmark to refresh my memory for this review.  Because it had been a very long time since my previous pedicure, I did add on callous remover for $5.00.  The lady went to town on my feet with that product and an implement for removing dead skin.  When she was done, my 55-year-old feet were as smooth as my butt when I was a baby!I went back to the salon in March of this year for by birthday manicure, which I really wanted to last. I brought my own polish (see photos) and took pictures shortly after the manicure and 14 days later.  This particular polish was the kind that is baked on and if the people don't follow specific instructions, I am told it will not come out right.  I did have to repeat the instructions numerous times:  1 light coat, 2 min UV light; another light coat, 2 min UV light. NO base coat and NO top coat!  It came out marvelous!Also had a pedicure in March (see pictures), but used a different non-bake nail polish and glitter, both products I brought with me.  I say when in doubt, bring your own stuff!I went back twice in April (see pictures).  I brought my own Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Deep Purple and had amazing results.  The salon added a glitter on top.  I picked it out.  For April 8 manicure, the glitter overshadowed the purple polish and the same manicurist told me on April 24, I should go with a more subtle glitter on top and was she ever right.  I love the combination done on April 24; it really does look better than the combo on the 8th.I highly recommend Tina.  Trish (I think is another name) is good too but her English is not as good as Tina.My only gripe is I think it is tacky to charge a fee to use a debit/credit card.  That is a business expense which they can write off of their taxes and they shouldn't be charging that to a customer. Also, they charge whatever they want for the fee depending on who rings it up at the cashier.  One time it was .50, another time it was more than that and the most recent visit in 2017 I was charged a dollar!  What I do is I reduce the tip accordingly.  So if my tip is normally $2.00, I deduct the card fee from that and the balance is what I tip! I tried red persimmons at the suggestion of my retired nail friend:(, but was pleasantly surprised. Super clean! I had a pedicure for my hard working staters feet, and Tina went above and beyond! Nancy did my manicure and I am excited to see how long my gel manicure lasts! Quick tip, I walked right in on a Monday morning and was taken care of right away. A heart-warming welcome is what first got me attached to this place. Seriously, it's the only nail salon that I believe takes their time to meet your needs. They are all very talkative with you throughout whatever service they are providing for you And it makes you feel very welcome.  I don't know any of their names, but with the pedicures, I like the old lady, she's the best for my manicures I don't usually have a preference. I took a chance yesterday and went. I told the girl a few times she was hurting me when she was cutting the side of my toe nails. She kept on anyway. Later that night I could barley walk. The side of my big toe hurt so much and was completely red. The next day my other big toe same thing. I have been getting pedicures for years without an issue. This is the first time I have gotten an infection on not one but two toes. It hurts so bad and I have been soaking in Epson salts, have to use antibiotic ointment and I'm taking antibiotics to avoid any spread of infection. So upset that I can barley walk and am going on a business trip in two days. I'm temped to call the health department on this place. My advice would be never go here. Read Less

I have lived in Menifee for almost 4 years and have been to Lake Nails, 5 star nails and the new Nail Bar by texas roadhouse. Red Persimmon is by far my suggested choice. They are friendly and affordable. I've sat with almost everyone that works at Red Persimmon and I just walk in and everyone that I have sat with has been excellent and professional. The ladies were nice but the customer service was horrible. Went with my daughter for a pedicure and we had 4 different ladies do our nails. My daughters nails were done before they started on me. They kept getting up answering calls and checking people out. The bad part was a lady walked in 30 minutes late for her appt then my lady got up and helped her. I got another nice lady who then gave my nails colors i picked out to someone else.  She then hold up a color I didn't pick and painted my nails. Super disappointed almost a hour and half later. 2nd time there. Not impressed. Went in for a fill. One of my nails had lifted pretty bad and I wasn't paying attention to what she was doing until she had put the new powder in. I reminded her that my nail had lifted and she told me that she already trimmed it and filled with the new powder. Well that nail just popped off pain free one week later. Ummm I think not! If you are looking for a new nail salon in Menifee I would highly recommend the Red Persimmon Nail Salon in the Heritage Marketplace located in the shopping center near Scott Road. The service was excellent....I had a pedicure and a fill (artificial nails) and I found the workers providing the services very friendly and professional. The owner is running a great business and I would highly recommend "Moon" who did my nails. So many of the nail salons do not measure up to the cleanliness and the great service like this salon offers. You will not be disappointed!!!
