As an open minded person, I have a pretty good sense of humor and don't mind jokes. The problem with this place is that as a first time customer it is highly inappropriate to treat people the way my mom and I were treated. As soon as we walked in one man asked my mom if I was single and she said no and the woman there said well maybe the mom is single. We brushed it off and tried to make normal conversation but all of them just kept taking it to an inappropriate level. My mom and I wanted to know all the services they had and the man told me that a lap dance was on there for that day only. The reason I am giving them three stars is because they did a really good job with our manicures and they took their time. I don't know why I had never been to this place!  I heard good things about it from a couple people so I finally decided to try it out. Best decision ever. I have never had my nails look so nice before. Every time I get my nails done I ask for coffin shape and they screw it up. Not this time. He was so precise with the shape and technique. I enjoyed talking to him and his wife. They're very friendly and kind. I can't get over the service. Amazing. One think he and I were talking about are appointments. I've been to many nail salons in Manteca and found a nail technician that I loved at (nail care) his name is Seven and I went there for years until it went into different management and it was awful and the owners husband made me fell very uncomfortable and just the whole atmosphere of the salon very uncomfortable so I stopped going. I came to this salon because of the reviews on yelp and as I walked in I almost ran into my favorite nail tech SEVEN!! He now works here and he is AMAZING at everything he does!!! If you are thinking about coming here make an appointment with SEVEN!! I promise you will not be disappointed! He's so friendly and funny! His work is amazing, I literally have no complaints! I would rate zero stars if I could. If you think of going to this place, reconsider and run away! Take your business elsewhere. The customer service is horrible, they do not care what is said to you that may offend you or be inappropriate to show you at a business establishment. THEY DONT CARE. The prices are high and not worth it because there are plenty of other choices in the area that do a better job for equal or less $. I would advise you take your money to people who won't disrespect you. Buyer be warned, if you have never been there before they will try to confuse you and claim that they aren't accepting any form of cards and then when you try to use the ATM (for a fee) in the salon they tell you the machine doesn't have money in it, but no sign is posted to warn you before you stick your card in. The owner (I'm guessing) just creepily whispers in your ear this information, instead of telling ALL his customers how to pay successfully. At that point our nails were drying and we didn't come with cash. I guess it's my fault for not coming prepared with cash to a nail salon - so harassment is the answer? It was a complete turn off to want to stop as a walk-in for a spontaneous mani or pedi because the entire experience was uncomfortable. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience with a friend and instead we both left insulted repeatedly and felt on our guard the entire time. This isn't a way anyone should conduct business. I absolutely love this place ! I get manicures and pedicures regularly and this salon never disappoints me. I have been to several nail salons in Manteca for I was born and raised here, but this place is the BEST! They do not rush you and they take their time which is hard to find now days. They are a little bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. I never have had to come back to get a nail fixed and the quality of their polish is amazing. My toes which I get just regular polish last three weeks and I am a gym junkie and always running. My manicures never lift, chip or break. If your looking for a high quality, professional salon. GO HERE! come here as a regular and I finally have found a wonderful place that not only provides great customer service but they know how to do nails very well. Dana was amazing ! I came for a nail take off and a fresh set. She didn't rush and took her time taking off my old acrylic was extremely gentle and patient. My pedicure was to die for! I've been here about 3 times and the first time I had an okay experience but the second two were not great. I had been charged $18.00 for just gel, no manicure. This included the filing of my nails to shape them. This time when I went in, she charged me $22 and when I asked her why it was $22 she said they raised the prices $2. I told her it would then be $20 because I usually pay $18. She said that they charged me extra because she had to file my nails. When she wiped off the top coat of gel, the towel was EXTREMELY hot. I told her that it was too hot and she muttered something that sounded like "and?" then continued to press the hot clothe on my hands. My hands were bright red for 10 minutes after she took it off. The prices aren't posted anywhere so that they can minipulate the prices. I would highly suggest going somewhere else. Love this place. Came here when I first moved and fell in love. The owners do have a sharp since of humor but so do I so it's okay. They're very professional and respectable. I came in as a walk-in and i was helped immediately. Before manicurists cut my nail, i make sure they know i have high nail beds (my skin underneath my nail goes up high). I warn them because if they're not careful, they'll cut into my skin.Well in this case she assured me that she won't cut into me and low and behold i start bleeding because she cut me!!!! And then she had the nerve to just continue and put acetone on my nail(which burnt my cut!) she didn't even ask me to wash off the blood, she just continued and acted as if that didn't happenShe eventually apologized but defended herself by saying "it's not usually this high". .5 *s Read Less

My first visit was way better than my second visit. I went in for a fill-in, but later decided to get a fresh new set. There were only two other customers waiting to get pedicures when I was there, and the last rushed to take my nails off. Causing three of my fingers to bleed . I let her finished my nails just to give them another chance but it only resulted in more disappointment. I LOVE this nail place! Dana is absolutely awesome and she is very good in how she makes sure ur nails will look great and last a long time. I came to Dana from another nail place and Dana taught me a lot about how badly my nails were done even in the spots that were already lifting that I knew shouldn't have been like that but it was L'Amour Dana that fixed everything along with being the sweetest person to be around. I was about to just give up on having my nails done but thanks to Dana and how well she does nails and how sweet she is there's no other place I'll go to but here.
