So I didn't review this place since I was just getting a pedicure, but when it came down to the scrubbing this little old lady wasn't even looking. I was like really, how do you know that you are doing it in the correct spot ugh. She was all over the place scrubbing then I stopped her and said, please just do my heel. Just took my daughter there and I'm not done with these fools yet. Daughter picked out polish she wanted and lady told her no you pick from these and showed her 2 or 3 polishes. Charged $53 which is more than normal and nails look like shit. They forcibly upsell you and claim miscommunication. Never again and tomorrow I'm going in to get a refund. Not too happy with what I just paid for. Usually the girls do a pretty good job but this time I got a man and due to this experience I will be looking somewhere else. My nails are chunky, not even, and the polish is so thin in some places you can see the acrylic. If I’m paying $45+ I am going to be picky and want to get my moneys worth. That is not what I got. Finally I got frustrated with asking for things to be fixed I just paid and left. I have an event coming up this weekend and these are not nails I am proud to show off. Waste of $45 dollars. Ive been coming here about 7-8 months now and my nail tech is AMAZING! Sarah does my nails every time, I will never go to any one else. I had been going there for about 6 Months and service has been between fair/ good, however- I had the worst experience there yesterday! I simply got a manicure- was treated like crap from the Get go asking why I didn’t get gel manicure. The lady never pushed my cuticles down. Filed my nails down and painted. Avoid this place at all costs! I've been here a few times and have never been particularly impressed but todays experience was awful. During my pedicure the nail tech was extremely rough and seemed very careless. The thing that bothered me most was how rude the staff was. I made an appointment for my mom and I to have pedicures together and my mom was waiting for the chair next to me and when she was finally brought back and went to be seated, she was told to move to another ...seat away from mine because another nail tech was saving that seat for her client. The two nail techs then started arguing back in forth in a different language, so my mom just walked out without receiving any service. Mind you we had already waited 45 minutes after our appointment time and my mom had waited an additional ten minutes for this specific chair. So much for getting a nice relaxing pedicure with my mom. I hate to even give this place one star, but there is no option in order to write a review. To start, the place was empty--I should've ran out then. I had a horrible Gel manicure done by the older man who applied the gel all around my cuticles. If you've ever gotten a gel manicure, you must know that the product begins to peel upwards if it is applied to close to the cuticle. I tried to explain this to him but he got very upset and said to comeback when the peeling happens to come back! He said fine I will remove them and brought out a plastic bag with acetone and a plate with hot water  he asked me to dip my HANDS inside the plastic bag. At this point my hands are burning from the acetone and hot water. YOU GUYS GET AN IDEA SO I'm gonna stop there because I think I've made my point. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISGUSTING PLACE. Read Less

First time here. Worst nail salon I've ever been to. Lady was rough taking my previous polish off like she hated her job, her life, and me. Cut one of my pinky toenails as small as a newborns nails. My 4yr old daughter could massage my legs and paint my nails better than this lady. She put my sandals on told me to go dry them at the lighted tables where only one table is lit up but both chairs are taken. Not even 3 steps away from her, my toenails hit my new sandals ruining t...he paint on big toes. I turn around to have her repaint. She wasn't nice about it. She maybe wiped 1/4 of the color off leaving the rest so now you can see where it was repaired. I go to dry and notice she didnt even paint my whole nail. There were 3 pedis and 1 child fingers painted which the cost was over $90. Most techs busy doing pedis and few doing hands. Not waiting for anyone to repaint me and get a bad job again after reading horrible reviews. No discount, but was told (by nice professional understanding front desk lady) they have 3 day policy where I can return to get them fixed. No thank you, I'll let my 4 yr old fix them. The one and only time I came here (around late October) they accepted me in about 50 minutes before closing time. The process was okay and everything seemed fine while she was doing my nails until it was time for me to get them painted. One of the ladies (who wasn't even doing manicures or anything she was cleaning the back and seemed in a rush) started pressuring me to pick a color, she was even putting her hands on me, as if I was taking too long to pick a color and get out of the door. When my nails were painted (not by her, let me clarity, she was just a standby staff lady) she took it upon herself to grab my stuff and placed it on top of the counter where you place your hands to dry. She kept saying things in her native tongue and pushing my shoulders to go sit at the counter and I felt uncomfortable because not only was she rushing me to get out of there but she was saying things to me that I would have no idea if they were meant to be rude or not because I couldn't understand. I was having an ok experience until this happened. Prices are okay it's just this one particular lady (who had nothing to do with my nails just tried to rush me out) was the person who ruined the experience for me. Another staff lady had to step in to move her away and I guess told her something to calm her down, because she looked at me in a manner like saying "it's ok don't worry about her". It's unfortunate. I can't believe I have not come here before while it's so close to my place. I love trying new places but this one is for sure going to be one of the most favorite places of mine. Amazing service. Staff is very nice and professional. I came to have a manicure and pedicure. The lady was very diligent, she took her time to make sure every is right though the place was a little busy. She did not skip through steps like many other places. Techs are very up to date with new trends, very easy to communicate with. The place is clean and well organized. The place didn't really look clean the lady who did my feet was in a rush idk y their was no other customers she didn't even have the massage chair on for me how they advertise it I didn't tip I wasn't satisfied cut my nails to short when I told her not to however the lady who worked on my nails did a good job and she was very nice I just wish the place was cleaner I will not be returning for a pedi! So I just got out of this place went to get a pedicure let me just say worse experience ever, there very rude and all they care about is that they want to get you out of there and not in a good way, the lady that did my toes didn't even know how to do her job, she didn't dig hard enough on my nails. since I was there already I asked the lady if I can get my manicure 2 she made an ugly face just because there was 1 person waiting. I should of just left when I had the chance because she did a worse job on my manicure not even a massage, all she did was filed my nails, (I could of done that at home.) when I had to pay I handed her a $20 there was no way I was going to tip her after the poor job she did, she didn't want to give me my change so I just stood there until she got the hint I wasn't going to leave without my change lol. When I walked in I liked that I didn't have to wait and the owner seems very friendly but the lady who did my nails did not do a great job , my nails are all un even and I aske for coffin style no she filed one side more then the other after I told her to fix it she still left my nails looking all lobsided I was very disappointed with my nails , I felt like walking out with out letting her finish ... While this shop will never be my "go-to" place it served its purpose. I needed a spot close to work due to the crunch I was in. I went in for a gel mani and pedi. Definitely not too much to ask for though I'm very picky on many things in nail salons. When I entered the salon I was not sold on anything.  It was fairly smaller than I like but I liked that they had spa chairs. I was, however, thrown off due to the spa chairs Not having the actual bowl down below where the water is "supposed" to go. Instead the nice lady filled a regular foot massager with water and placed it in the spa chair....humm. There was no remote visible for me to work the massage chair however the lady turned it on for me. I had to ask for my chair to be adjusted to my liking when I would normally be able to do these things on my own. The arms of the chairs had coverings on them which looked to not be sparkly clean or white which resulted in me not resting my arms on them and instead the lady doing my mani placed a towel down which I appreciated. Scanning the place I was able to see that the salon was no where near as clean as I'm used to seeing at the other shops I have been to which would explain why they probably felt comfortable having the "dirty/dingy" arm coverings.  I did see the equipment solution they are required to use but questioned whether they use it or have it out for "decoration". I did see the guy that another yelper said not to allow to do your feet. He was doing another customers pedi and looked very out of place and uncomfortable. His demeanor seemed to be that of a very inexperienced person. The lady doing my pedi had to go over and assist him with cutting the customer's toenails because he looked to be having issues. When I glanced over at the lady in the faux spa chair, down from me, I could tell she wasn't satisfied. In closing; the ladies were nice but the salon was not up to par for my taste. Read Less

OK so. This was a very  bad  1st experience. Instead of running thewater in the message tub chair. . They brought out buckets and sat them inside. .-.-Also The  young boy cut half of my big toe nail off..then they tried to make me pay for an acrylic nail..the lady that took over wasnt nice at first..and she didnt wanna finish my toes but anyway My nails look good now that they are fixed but i will not be returning... Been coming to Ross Nails for years. Surprised that there's only one review. Anyways, I'm a super loyal customer to Tina, she owns the place. I always get a mani/pedi. They also do eyelashes, waxing and threading. They have big comfy chairs for spa pedicures and a wide selection of colors. She recently remodeled it about two-three years ago. And she opened up a new shop on Atlantic near Abbott, it's called Tina nails. I like how this location is not ridiculously packed. But when Tina is busy I ask for Tracy or Ana.
