I'll start with the positive. This salon is very clean and airy. It does not have a strong smell of polish fumes & has a cool modern vibe. They have a lot of gel nail polish colors to choose from and their selection is well organized. Unfortunately, they don't have individual massage chairs. Instead, there's a long cushioned bench shared by patrons and individual pedicure sinks. These seating areas are fairly close together (your purse will be right up against your neighbor's purse) and the bench doesn't offer the added relaxation of massage from a chair. They will do your manicure while you get your pedicure which can be nice for saving time. There is also a manicure bar (across from the pedicure bench) where you can sit on backless stools to get your nails done at a long shared counter. As long as you are not getting anything complicated, this is comfortable enough. The technicians here are hit or miss (like many places), I had one technician who did a great gel nail polish manicure here once but other than that, it hasn't always gone well and I am not very picky about my nails so that's saying something. I wish I remembered her name but that was a visit from a long time ago.Be warned: they do not accept credit cards like Yelp says. It is cash only! When I told them that on Yelp it says they accept credit cards (just to let them know, I wasn't upset about it) the manager rudely snapped, "We don't associate with Yelp!" I thought I was being courteous to tell them so they could correct it for future customers but she seemed highly agitated when I mentioned it. I told her kindly too so I didn't expect that treatment. I still came back after that experience because the location is convenient for me. They are pricier than other nail salons and a lot of services that are included at other places (for cheaper overall prices) are considered "add on's" or "extras" here, so be sure to bring a good amount of cash. There's an ATM at a neighboring frozen yogurt shop, but certainly not convenient for patrons who just their nails done. After my last experience here this past week, I won't return, no matter the convenience of the location. The pedicurist did not include a exfoliation scrub, even though the menu says it is included for their basic pedicure. I didn't bother to mention it because I thought maybe I was mistaken thinking it could be an "extra" that I had forgotten to request or something, but when I went to the counter to pay, I checked the menu again and it said it was supposed to be included. I didn't mention it because my pedicurist had a bad attitude the entire time and seemed annoyed. I figured we all have bad days and I didn't want to somehow add to hers, so I just remained quiet. I didn't complain or ask for any specifics, but it is a pretty basic component for a such a pricey pedicure. My sister came with me and her pedicurist filed her nails too short. It has been painful for her all weekend. I got gel nail polish for my manicure (a nude pinkish color) and by the next day the color has been severely discolored with dark pinkish-red streaks and yellow streaks coming through. The manicurist did not remove all of the red polish that I had been wearing previously, so I am wondering if that has something to do with it. I had mentioned it to her and she said she would take care of the red polish but she didn't. I can't go back to change out the color as I'm on a trip (something I wouldn't usually do but this looks terrible!!). My sister's gel polish started bubbling hours after we left. For the high price, I expected better. I gave this place several chances because the location is convenient for me but ultimately, I think other local salons do a better job, include way more services for less cost, and accept credit cards which is way more convenient for customers. Sorry to say but this place is a no go for me. Read Less
