I've been coming here for years when they were under the previous ownership, they were rude but they did an amazing job. Now the new management, although they are very sweet... they are the WORST. I got a full set recently and the man kept filing my skin so bad, and I kept complaining and he would apologize but now its a week later and I have a full blown infection in my middle finger where he kept filing down on. I can't even type at work cause it hurts so much. and a time before that, I went for a pedi... I paid $25 for it and left and additional $3 dollar tip on my card and totaled it to $28 because I had already left a tip with $2 cash and they rounded my amount to $30 when I looked at my bank statement. it's only an extra $2 but that's ILLEGAL. I didn't say anything but after this infection I felt the need to speak up and let everyone know how trash this place is. its so convenient to come here cause its down the street from my house but I will never come back to this place again!! I won't given them any star because I was terribly upset, first of all this was my favorite place to go and get the whole works done I would just relaxed while I was been pampered, however it was my second time with the new owner, unfortunately the place was empty and Kim (new owner) was doing my manicure and she asked to pay her, I gave her a twenty ( was only doing a manicure) it was $12:00 dollars she put a ten dollar bill, I though she wanted me to give her two dollars she raised her voice and acted like Iwas cheating her, I told her to calm down and be nicer I mentioned I'm a senior citizen and I misunderstood her, as a  habit I usually give not 20% tip, a great deal more if I get a good service but I feltterrible she ended up hurting me because she was mad and dida horrible job by going so fast and nip me, I will never go backthere and she needs to learn some manners on how to treat hercustomers. So they did a beautiful job on my set of nails for my wedding as well as my mom's and sisters but they kept pushing other things on us like pedicures and waxing. I did not like my experience at all.... first of all they were very rude kept dropping or spilling things all around the shop. They took a very long time. The guy doing my nails kept laughing at me or at least I felt that way ... no one was around or speaking to him it got to the point my mother had to ask what's so funny. He also had messed up on anther girls nails and she asked for them to be fixed and he was upset and laughed at her as well. They didn't use the sugar scrub on me and charged me for it. After reading the reviews below I'm obviously not the only person disappointed in this place. The nail polish is cheap and old. My nail polish literally moved downwards while drying so I went to the first person I saw (who happened to be the new owner) and she said she would fix. She said she would get a new bottle but she didn't. She acted like it and in the middle of polishing my nails for the second time added nail polish remover. I'm not stupid. It was old, nasty and cheap nail polish. The price for a mani pedi is same as in LA where I live. At least use Essie or OPI, CND. Forget it. I ended up going to Target buying Essie polish and some remover and doing my own nails. Just don't go there. I'd forgotten I had a bad experience two years ago and my aunt reminded me too late. Never again! I have been here multiple times and it has gradually gotten worse. This last time will be THE LAST TIME! Got my pedicure, paid for all the extras (which I didn't get). I could tell they were rushing because it was a busy day, so I let it go. On to my manicure, the lady is removing my acrylic nails and is ripping them off. Bad service overall. Don't come here. The skinny girl in the first desk on the right-made my nails different sizes, was offensive and hostile when I told her she glued one nail completely crooked. I used to live in Los Banos and I happened to stop by with my sister to get my nails done and as I was getting my nails done I notified the lady that my middle finger nail was crooked and all she said was no no it's not and then she starts speaking Vietnamese to another lady talking about my nail and showing her. Went for a pedicure and they had me throw my coat and purse on the floor even though no one was there (so there were plenty of places besides the floor to put it). The girl up sold me everything possible on the pedicure and I was happy to do it thinking I was going to get a least a good massage out of it and she threw the junk on my legs washed it off and never gave me much of a massage. Was more interested in speaking Vietnamese the whole time to anyone near by than actually waiting on me. I had to even have her repaint 3 toes since she just didn't paint them all the way. I WISH I could give this place zero stars. I came in yesterday for a acrylic fill and the lady buffed my nails so roughly that seven (7) out of ten (10) of my cuticles are torn open and sore. She became visibly irritable when I told her it was uncomfortable. And the polish job did not cover my entire nail and was covered in cotton. TODAY, One day later I decided to give it another try. I came in for a polish change and a wax. She removed my polish and immediately recommended I get a fill, which upset me considering I had just received one the day before which shows me it wasn't done well. Again the polish job was full of cotton. Then on to the wax. She did not cleanse the area first and I had to request that she did. Then before waxing she did not powder the area to remove any moisture. She applied the wax against the hair growth and did not apply pressure once removed. The hair was not removed and she attempted to double wax the area which is a HUGE NO NO. I could have plucked the area myself at home for free, and this is what had to be done to remove said hair after the wax. The ladies were not considerate when I told them I was unhappy with my experience and offered no relief from my frustration. DO NOT go here. There are many superior stores in this town. It saddens me to log on 3 months after my visit and offer a 1 star rating. This was the only place that looked clean and inviting and I wanted to treat myself and my mom during my quick one week visit 06/05/16-06/11/16. Fortunately, mom is fine. Unfortunately I am not. The nail tech hurt the hell out of my big toe during the pedi- no I didn't say anything, I somehow expect these techs and pedis to hurt. #FirstWorldProblems, I was visiting CA 06/05/16-06/11/16, had my Pedi on Wednesday or Thursday. I was hoping that the pain incurred during the session was just the tech bending my nail and that the pain, tenderness, and swelling would decrease with time. Alas, it did not. My R big toe hurt almost instantly after my visit to the nail salon. It was red, swollen, and very sensitive. Once I arrived back home to NM the evening of the 11th, I took pictures of said toe and these photos are hideous, I would hate to post them for fear of my own embarrassment. Again, I was thinking and hoping that the pain was from what ever the tech did during the session. I was thinking she bent my nail and was hoping after a few days, the pain, swelling, and redness would go away. Well here we are-3 months later and I officially have nail fungus on my big toe. I'm pissed. I've lost half my toe nail and doing everything in power and am seeing a podiatrist to rectify the residual effects of lazy unclean tools. Im huge pregnant and they took just too long. Even took someone who came after me with no appt first! They charged me 45 for a pedi and honestly the lady did it in such lazy manner. This was the worst experience I've ever had. I went in for acrylic and already had gel on my nails. Instead of soaking my nails in acetone first, she drilled it off and that's when I should have left. My nails were already getting so sensitive. Once she moved on to the acrylic she did such a sloppy job, that she spent over an hour trying to fix it and it was still awful and thick. I should have gone back and had them take them off but I didn't even want to step a foot in there again. I've heard horrible things about this place and will never go back. Horrible waste of money. I wish I could give this place negative stars! First of all, they have you pay before they even begin working on your nails. How am I supposed to know how much tip they deserve? Here's a tip, get better nail polish. I had an event planned for Sunday, so I went for a manicure the Thursday prior... my polish was chipped by Saturday and completely off Sunday morning. If I could give NO STARS, I would. Their service is SLOW AS HECK! They tell you the wait is 10 minutes and you end up waiting for about 40 minutes. The male employee is super rude. The woman who did my nails must have been an intern because she had no damn idea what she was doing. I had to show her a couple times the spots she was missing with the gel! Eventually I gave up on schooling the damn lady, and I honestly felt bad for being so rude to her since she was as nice as can be. My French-tip set is supposed to be clear, but instead it's cloudy. Nail Now, is one of the only nail salons I will go to , here in Los Banos.  You are greeted and taken to your seat right away or soon enough. It's a every clean and professional Decorative Nail salon. The prices are fair $20 for pedicure & $12 for a manie. I'm so glad I found Nail Now. Other nail salons,  had me waiting more then one hour, then they act as if you're not there, you finally just get up and walk out. I give Nail Now 4 star's.P.sThey have new pedie chairs, as you Soak your pretty little toes in the warm water, you look down and see a cool light show goin on red,blue,green (ex.)
