I came here for a quick mani-pedi on my lunch hour. The ladies were pleasant, and fast! I requested my nails to be the same length, same shape. My cuticles got a perfect trim, my nail lengths are a tad mismatched, the pain job is perfect. It was $63 for both gel mani-pedi. The salon is large, clean, and pretty. Really wanted to like this place honestly. Pros: I love the ambiance and the lack of those germ infested spa chairs.  The music playing was relaxing and the lady at the front desk greeted me nicely when I walked in.Unfortunately, that's where the niceties ended for me.Cons:  Strike 1: The lady at the front tried to up-sell me to gel while I was picking out my color, even after I had just told her I didn't want it.Strike 2:  The lady doing my manicure had to be told 3 Times... 3 separate TIMES... that my nail beds are long and she had to push my cuticles back more.  Only to have her STILL not do it.  When my nails were painted you could still see the white parts at the top of my nails.  Strike 3:  My pedicure, I asked for square round... and I got round round.  The callous removal just didn't, I have the same patch on my heel I had when I came in. Not to mention my French pedicure, that was $5 more coincidentally, was cracking and peeling by day 2 post pedicure.For the prices, I'll pass.  Not worth the $49 I spent for a mani/pedi.  Upper echelon prices with low quality results.#NoThankYou Read Less

I really wanted to like this place based on reviews, but i am just not happy with my nails. I haven't had my nails get hot while they filed with the machine for a loooong time before i moved back to long beach, and today my nails were burning while she filed them. I had acrylics put on, was charged $5 extra for using glitter? Maybe that's the norm, but not where i have ever been to. Also, their gel costs $15 extra which was a lot to me. and many of my "coffin shaped" nails look like only one half of the coffin side was filed down, so they are super lopsided and uneven. I noticed my left thumb is waaay longer than my right thumb nail, and when she recommended i do a "glitter ombré" she only painted the tips of my nail, and it just isn't a good look to me. I wish i got the ladies name who did my nails but i forgot to ask, but it was not worth my $43 for everything. most definitely will be trying a new nail salon when i go get my fill done. Read Less

Hidden Gem 10/26/17 I came here at 1pm, Thursday, with my mom for a mani-pedi. I called ahead to make sure they could take us in and sure enough they had the time. It was perfect timing because it was just us two. The girls there (I'm sorry I didn't get your names) were amazing. The pedicure was relaxing and the girls offered EXCEPTIONAL customer service. The air conditioning was blasting the best cold air on this hot day and the place was sparkling clean! The main reason I am giving it 5 stars is due to their CLEANLINESS and Sanitary EXPECTATIONS!! They are 5 stars! They line the water tub with liners and use gloves to do their pedicures. Some of the pedicure items are disposable so they only use it once on a customer. After 3pm, you can enjoy a complimentary mimosa, which I did! And they bring out little chocolates on your pillow! I mean what more do we need? It was about $50 each, out the door for mani/pedi , callus remover and $10 tip ($5 for each lady)! Ladies.. pay a few extra dollars for exceptional service and cleanliness. You won't regret it! It seems like every time I come here there's always something  that isn't right. This time was the last straw for me.  My grandmother and I came in for pedicures, Tracy was doing my grandmother and Idk the lady who was doing my pedicure.  They asked what kind of pedicure we wanted and we just wanted the simple pedi and Tracy just wouldn't take no for an answer for the super pedicure! Once I gave her a stern NO she caught attitude. While doing my grandmother's pedi, Tracy continued to cut her  toenails even though she said it was painful AND kept cutting her cuticles when she basically yelled "OUCH!" several times. Tracy laughed every time she said "ouch" as if it was a joke and then said "I have to get this." SMH!I honestly used to like this place ESPECIALLY Kay! But since Kay left...this place hasn't been the same and the customer service has gone downhill. Read Less

Hi Trina,My 15 year-old daughter and I tried your nail salon for the first time last week.  The technicians are all customer-service oriented, friendly, and sweet.  The two that did our gel manicures and pedicures were really good, and we were pleased that the massages were great quality, not just lotion being rubbed onto our skin.  The sanitized tools are reassuring of the attention to cleanliness, and the atmosphere is very relaxing.I really want to give it 5 stars.However, we noticed that when my daughter's polish was being applied, both to her nails and toes, that the technician had to thin it out several times.  Both bottles must have been old, since not even a week later, my daughter's polish started chipping.  We get gel mani/pedi's quite often and are accustomed to gel polish lasting at least 2 weeks or more.  I noticed when i was picking my color that several of the bottles looked old, with dried polish cracking on the inside of the bottles.We tipped each of the techs 20% for the great service, so it cost us over $70 each.  Needless to say, we are disappointed in the quality of the nail polish itself.We would like to try it again, but only if the polish is guaranteed to last longer.Thank you. Came in yesterday to get a mani & pedi. When I walked in nobody was in the front. I use to love coming here but now I think it's time to find a new nail salon. First off when I walked in nobody was there to greet me. I had 2 ladies working on me at the same time. I brought my own nail polish in. The woman who was doing my mani was painting my nails, the woman who was doing my pedi got upset because I didn't want to use their nail polish. (Last time I used their white nail polish my nails firmed yellow after a week) the lady got up & never came back to work on my feet. Another issue I had was right after they painted my toes they made me switch seats just to accompany a party of 2. The seat they sat me in was wet & I refused to sit. Made an appointment in advance and showed up on time. My technician was Casey. When I got there I saw that she was doing someone else's nail. I checked if they knew of my appointment. They just told me to wait, no apology. I waited 10 min and I was told to pick out my colors. I told Casey that I was going to show the pictures and ask her opinion. Not only that she didn't apologize, she just ignored me and went back to her station where she was doing the other customer's nails. I've only been here only before when the owner was there. I remember it was a more pleasant experience. Even though Casey made a cut on my finger and made me bleed, I still liked the result so I went back today. It was definitely a big mistake! They were rude, unapologetic, and unresponsive. They kept me waiting without any explanation. After awhile I just left, why should I put up with such bad service when I am paying good money for it? I've been here once before about 2 years ago but had a bad experience. I decided to try this place out again because I didn't feel like driving all the way to K-Town where I usually get my nail art haha. I came across this place via Yelp & read that Tracy did a great job so I made an appointment with Tracy. She is a perfectionist! She took A LOT of time on my nails and wanted to make sure that everything was perfect. She was constantly asking if I was happy with everything before continuing on to the next step. She really values her clients' happiness with her service :)Also note: lots of available parking, complimentary champagne/wine/mimosas, great atmosphere, and they line the soak bowls with plastic wrap so this place is very hygienic! Just had a great walk in experience! Environment: Cute, clean, and hip Service: Impeccable. They offered me drinks and were so pleasant. Highly recommend Tracy for nail art. I showed her a picture for inspiration and she really took the time to execute it perfectly. She went above and beyond! Nancy did an excellent job on my pedicure as well and all the amenities were more than enough for the simplest pedi option.Color selection: The most colors I've ever seen for gel including the LA salons I've been to. Different brands and glitter options.Prices: Very reasonable. Opted for the $28 gel mani with an extra $12 for the glitter nail art which is so much better than the LA salons who usually charge an arm and leg PER nail. $18 simple pedi.Don't hesitate! This is my first visit to Nailpolish and I can say it was a great experience! 5 stars  My gf and I didn't have an appointment so we figured we would try to walk in right when they opened today (Wednesday).  The customer service was very nice. All of the staff greeted us and talked to us. My gf even got a complimentary mimosa for her birthday. No need for those useless massage chairs as they have very cozy modern chairs and the entire ambiance was trendy. Very clean establishment and  decent pricing. Regular mani/pedi was $30.My nail technician was Tracy and I'm happy with her service. She did not rush and kept a conversation throughout. This place is great!!This is the second time i go here and both times have a been a great and relaxing experience! I love how i'm always greeted with a smile, it just makes me feel welcome, and they always offer drink as you are being seated. What more can you ask for, a nice spa day with complimentary wine and great customer service. Oh and if you decide on paying the extra bucks for a massage before your pedi, i definitely recommend it, the scrub they use is amazing and so refreshing!Cheers to an amazing spa day!! Read Less

I walked into this place to get a mani/pedi while my brother got a haircut across the parking lot. I asked for their basic pedi and a gel mani. I was seated and they began. The woman doing my pedi asked which one i would like and showed me the paper with the dofferent options. I asked for the simplest pedi they do and coincidentally that was the name of their basic pedicure. I asked the girl doing my mani to please just file my nails a little as they were already short and very thin since i had removed acrylics a few weeks before. She decided to file them down to nubs. I asked for black gel polish on my hands and french tips on my toes. I've included pictures of the gel manicure. I don't think anyone would be very happy with the result i got. The polish doesn't go to the cuticle. It's cloudy and uneven. The pedicure was fine but when i was leaving i was charged for their premium pedicure when i had specifically asked for the basic.
