Sadly I will never come back here. It's in my neighborhood of 17 years and next to my favorite pet store and vitamin store. This time around I don't know what jay was worse the technician not listening to me, abruptly interrupting me when trying to have conversation with my mom or lack of finding someone to provide customer service in English. Then the pedicure experience was horrible! Not sure why she was yanking on my legs. Really rough! Not good on my back at all. I think they didn't get the Memo that manicures and pedicures are suppose to be relaxing. Well, the good news is that there are 2 nail places across the street for me to give my business. WORSE NAILS EVER! She had no idea what she was doing. I went in for a full set of acrylics and a pedicure. She never cut or trim my cuticles. She never asked me to wash my hands. AND I asked for her to do them almond shape, instead...I got a couple of nails almond, a few oval, and a few round. Completely inconsistent and so UGLY! Not only that, she totally complained about me changing the color. I decided to go with a different color (not knowing the difference between gel and regular) and she flipped out about it. Not to mention it was $15 more, but it wasn't the price that changed my mind. I didn't know that until she shouted it out to the other ladies that I had changed the color in Vietnamese. (Yes, I understood all her trash talking). Couldn't figure out why she was SO annoyed. Anyhow, DON'T GO HERE! Pedicure was also so bad. I didn't enjoy myself one bit bc of all the complaining she didand the pedicure was also uneven. After I got home, I was annoyed with myself for tipping them. They try to do the quickest job and definitely cut all corners with mis-shapen nails and not cutting cuticles. I went in last Friday and within a week my nails had already grown out. I even broke one bc they were flimsy. A few days ago, I went into Hana Nails across the street and WOW. I was amazed at how many people were in there, so crowded but they took me in anyways. They were so quick and my nails, I must say...were pretty near perfect! I wish I had taken a picture of them to show.Its almost been a week now and they are the same...near perfect. They don't look all worn and grown out bc she did the acrylics close to the cuticles after cutting them and cleaning them like they are supposed to be done. This place is fantastic...meets all the requirements that I look for in a nail salon. 1.)   Clean VERY CLEAN2.)  Talented and experienced technicians       /nail artists. 3.)   Amazing pedicures that you can        choose from...if you want a simple        Or a deluxe pedicure they do all of        them as if you are at a 5 Star Resort. 4.)   They also do waxing and the wax is        not boiling hot like other places. I have never been so happy with a manicure/pedicure in my life. Not only was I blown away, but I went with two other friends and they all said the same thing. My gel manicure lasts much longer than 2 weeks, and the precision along my cuticle line is incredible! I regret being lazy and going here out of convenience. Just walked out with an ok pedicure and one of the worst manicures to date. After nicely asking if the technician would clean out and straighten my nail beds, she assured me she wasn't done. Ok cool.Then she finished and my nails are all jagged. Not one. All of them aren't smooth. I tell her and she proceeds to buff the top edge...no, they aren't smooth. They go in and out with random areas poking out... so I take the  energy board and start filing them down myself and she wants to buff them.To make a long story short: My nails were different shapes and that don't follow the nail bed or my finger. The edges weren't filed to a smooth line. I have stray skin everywhere from over trimming.And my cuticles are still there in random places.Pedicure was ok. A couple of my toenails weren't buffed so they're sharp where the others are smooth, but the other technician made my toes looked way better than what I came in with. Read Less

This nail salon has just recently changed management and/or ownership.  I was a walk-in and got right in.  I payed for the least priced pedicure, but I sure got top-notch treatment.  I have to say that was the best foot/leg massage I have ever received, thanks to Jenny.  For such a petite woman, she's got strong hands/fingers.  The front counter staff woman was sweet and very welcoming.  I will definitely be back! Just want to say Thank You to this nail salon!! First, they do excellent work! This place is very clean and friendly! They also use organic products! Second, I love their honesty and integrity! Very clean place and the staff is very welcoming. My pedicure was great but the only problem is they polish horribly. I have to go elsewhere to get them polished. No matter who did my mani or pedi, the Polish was always bad. If they learn to polish I would go back. Read Less

Popped in without an appointment. I work close by and needed my nails done. They are under new management now. I got the spa pedicure and manicure. After I left and looked at my toes in the sunshine, the paint job was average. There were lumps of polish on my big toes that I really didn't see inside. I came here yesterday with my BFF for some pampering. The ladies and the gentleman here are very nice. My technician Kimmie gave me a wonderful foot massage with my pedicure. She also removed some painful ingrown toenails--saving me a trip to the foot doctor! They are a little bit more pricey for the pedicures and manicures, but the service and cleanliness definitely make up for it. I appreciated signing for my beauty tools that were auto-cleaved and sealed--this really put me at ease because I've heard so many stories about nail salons not being the cleanest. I also was able to get my eyebrows waxed for just $10. I was very nervous about it because I am allergic to most beauty products and hair removers. I have been going to Bamboo Nails for almost 2 years. When I say that, I really mean that I have not gone to any other salon in two whole years and I usually go twice a month. Hana has consistently been doing my nails for quite some time now and I wouldn't have it any other way! Without gel my nails are naturally very thin, always splitting and breaking. However,with Hana's help my nail beds have gotten much healthier and the gel does wonders for me! Whether it be acrylic claw nails or gel, she does a great job. As for pedicures, Helen is awesome. Although it's a bit pricey, I recommend the Deluxe Manicure/Pedicure package. I only do this about once every 3 months but includes: pedicure with callus remover, some type of warm gray clay for moisture (with hot rags), a cooling gel treatment, and an extra long hot stone massage with a gel manicure for $60. Not bad every once in a while! I just only wish they didn't charge $2 for gel removal. Overall I definitely recommend! Tip: Make an appointment & you never have to wait :) Read Less

Do not go here if you want to get OPI gel nails. My first set came off less than a week in. I don't know why, they seemed well done and looked nice, but 5 days into having them they had all come off of my right hand. When I came back to complain they said they would redo them for free. Then 10 minutes into it they said they were going to charge me $10 for a color change. The owner seemed to want to blame it on me and asked me if I bite my nails... which I clearly don't since they still looked freshly manicured. The second set is transparent and already looks extremely grown out. The first guy didn't push anything extra on me, but the second lady did.. and did a lot! To the point it got uncomfortable.
