The owner is aggressive with the public. I stopped in front to say hello to a friend and was two doors down from his business. He came out yelling that we have no respect for business. I apologized and explained that I believed we were rather far from his business. He scoffed at us and asked if he should measure it for us. I again apologized because I'm polite. I felt like all he needed to do was ask us to move along maybe even smile or say pardon me ladies and was rather shocked that he was upset at all. Read Less

After moving from a different town to lodi, I searched and searched for a new nail place. I’ve now been going to lodi nails and spa for over a year and it is fantastic, the staff is the best ever!!! I had originally gave them a lot of stars, and I wanted to keep It that way, but my gel nail polish did not even last me a week. On the 2nd day it started chipping. And yes I called and they said to come in and they'd fix it, but it was such a hassel.. they're 30 minutes away from me, there s no way ima take time out of my busy schedule. I got gel nail that way I wouldn't have to worry about having to keep up and fix my nails so oftenly. The day we went, my friend got hers feed too, and the person doing the nails felt that he didn't do it right and he told oh it's fine I'll just leave it. Which was not right. After going to a salon that really knows how to do it, I was disappointed with this one the gel was all around my edges cuticle and finger, so when my nail grew, the gel had rough edges that were easily snagged and what not. This is by far the best nail salon that I have ever been to. The staff is always attentive to your needs and I never feel rushed! I travel for work and had read great reviews about this place on google. Seriously, they must pay people to write "best salon ever!" --- the first time I came in about a month ago Cash took care of me and he was fabulous. Very friendly, offered me a mimosa, and the paint job was excellent. I was looking forward to returning. Went in last night for a quick mani, the paint job was decent, but my nails were filed uneven, and they were not polite to me. I asked if I could keep my nail file and they almost fell out of their chair (this is standard to get the file and buffer @ my salon at home). They spent 15 minute trying to get my card to run & told me it would not work and I needed another card - although I had just got gas & dinner with this card. The whole experience was not pleasant. Cash is the guy to see at lodi nails. I'm never disappointed, he knows exactly what I want and all I do it pick my color. He fast, but very neat and particular. I love how they stay on so well and I never have breaks before I'm due to get a full and I only get my nails done once a month. I always leave happy with my nails. Thank you cash for what you do! Walked in to get my acrylic nails removed since it was convenient and I was stopping by the bank. customer service was great it was a gentleman who assisted me and made sure he remove them carefully and even left me a little bit of nail so they wouldn't be completely short he even coated them with two types of coats which left my nails shiny and not dry. I can't comment about other services but I'll most likely be back as I saw a lot of people come in for their monthly pedicures and manicures and again great customer service. Read Less

I have been coming to this nail salon for approximately 10 years. Last week I came in to get a pedicure done for a cruise I was going to take. I normally do not get a manicure but I wanted to treat myself to something special for Valentine's Day. As I was sitting in massage chair I set my phone and my wallet on the table to my left. One of the workers by the name of Holly stood on my left side to do my manicure. The gal who was doing my pedicure dropped a nail polish bottle into the water where my feet were soaking and it made a loud noise. We are just laugh and as she passed that bottle of nail polish that she had dropped in the water to the gal who was doing my manicure I looked over and my screen to my phone was shattered. I asked Holly did you break my phone? And she said no I dropped it on the floor. I was not close enough to drop my phone on the floor. Also I assume that if I did drop my phone on the floor that someone would've called it to my tension that I did so and that it was broken. There is a camera in the shop and I did ask The manager if we could replay video because if I'm gonna pay $200 to replace my screen I would feel better knowing that it was actually my mistake. He proceeded to tell me that he cannot rewind the video he did not have access to the video and no one ever apologize no one ever try to explain at this point everybody started to act oblivious. the other girls that were in the salon just kept asking me if I had insurance on my phone. Although my pedicure and manicure cost me $245. In the long run I just assumed that it would be their loss because they have lost all faith has to mark who is paying approximately $60 a month for their services. Read Less

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a salon.  My daughter and I came in for gel manicures and pedicures and when we entered we were not even acknowledged for at least 2 minutes.  Finally Andy grunted something unintelligible in our direction (without bothering to look up).  I told him we wanted mani/pedis and he nodded towards the chairs.  His attitude was as if we were a nuisance just by being there. We asked to see the gel color choices twice and were ignored until finally a young child brought us a basket containing the sample colors.  In hindsight we should have left solely based on the rudeness of Andy but we were on somewhat of a tight schedule so we stayed.  My daughter chose a color from the gel color samples that would go perfectly with her graduation dress.  The nail technicians did a satisfactory job though the services are extremely overpriced. When I paid the $135 for the two of us,  Andy did not even thank us and seemed inconvenienced that he even had to process the  transaction.  Then when I handed him a cash tip for the technicians he gave me a look as if he was disgusted by the amount of the tip.  When we got outside  my daughter told me that the color was not right so we went back in to compare the color on her nails to the sample she had been given to choose what color she wanted.  They were not even close to the same.  Before we even had a chance to said anything,  Andy stormed over and said something we didn't understand..  I explained the problem and he very rudely said to my 13 year old daughter that she should have said something right away and basically brushed us off,  as if to say "too bad".  I told him we did not know what he end result would be while she was painting them and expected them to be darker after several coats. He just walked away speaking angrily in a foreign language. After I made it clear to his wife that we were not leaving until we were satisfied,  she told my daughter to pick a different,  darker color to try to achieve the color she originally wanted.  Finally my daughter chose another color and Andy's wife begrudgingly applied a coat of that color while speaking angrily to Andy in a foreign language. The end result was not what my daughter wanted and we will never go back again.  If you want to be treated like s*** by owners with bad attitudes,  this is the place for you. Read Less

This was my second time coming here. Both times I got the spa pedicure , one time I was charged to remove the gel polish on my toes ( an extra 5$ on top of my 30$ pedicure ) and the other I wasn't . I was in Lodi to visit my grandpa, and wanted to get a quick manicure.  I ended up here after another place up the street was closed (Sunday).  The service was great, and the facilities were clean.  They had a ton of colors to choose from.  I had Xena, and she was friendly, and did an excellent job.  I had no bubbling, and the manicure lasted 3 weeks without chipping (just normal grow out).  I wish it was closer so I could always come here, but if I am in Lodi I will definitely be back.Prices were great too! I came here  because it's one of my girls go to place to get her nails done. I wasn't really welcomed and as I presented what I wanted, the gentleman was like "that's it?", kinda rude. And yes it was. I don't like my acrylics to be over the top I just like to keep it simple. As he was filing my nails down, he wasn't gentle. I told him a couple of times to stop because he was hurting me. I was over charged for what I got which was acrylics, no color and with a matte finish. Just wasted so much time (3hrs) and money at this place. As you can see on the picture my gel manicure was horrible and she cut my cuticle and all she did was put some alcohol to stop the bleeding. I originally asked for the same as last time even showed them a picture and they sad they could do it but obviously couldn't so I asked to just make it a white tip but even then it looks bad. Paid $60 for gel manicure and pedicure even asked for a discount because of a bad job she did and nope $60 it is . Save your time and money avoid this place Read Less

Came in for a pedi because I was driving through and I've been trying different pedi places out. I'm on my feet a lot so I try and do it every 2-3weeks. Vincent did a wonderful job!!! When you go have a mani pedi and you are paying 50.00 for the extra massage... I don't want my manicure at the same time. It's not relaxing at all. In fact it's awkward to reach across yourself to have do your nails and be getting instructions for the pedicure ( feet in, feet out) etc. facility was clean and the folks really do a great job otherwise. Took my kids in for a 'kid pedi and mani'.  They picked what they wanted to spend their own money on.  My daughter went to the counter to pay and they over charged her by $5.    When I questioned the owner she said it was for a "service  charge".  She then told me she asked my daughter first, and my daughyer said ok. If feel you don't ask a 8 year old about a service charge. Talk to the parent first before taking extra money from a kid.  The owners only care about the money, not the customers or the service they give. Read Less

*This review is for a PEDICURE ONLY*I must agree with all the other reviewers that the employees are friendly and the facility is clean. My friend and I were walk ins and we were seated immediately. However, the quality of the massage was poor, the environment was not relaxing and I paid extra for the white paint to make my toes look like French tips and the job was poor to begin with but it also started chipping just a few days later. I see there are other reviews that say the same about the quality of work here but I didn't have time to check Yelp before we came in :( Maybe fingernails get better service but I would not recommend this place for a pedicure. I went in my first time last weekend here and it was great! Very friendly workers and very welcoming. However, I got a gel french manicure and it's only been 3 days and it's already peeling... The lady who did my manicure was really rough in cleaning and two of my nails bled the next day. I have skin peeling off everywhere and this is my 5th experience at getting shellac and never IN MY LIFE have they peeled or made me bleed. Read Less

One of my best friends and I were hanging out and I tagged along with her so she could get her nails done. I decided that I was long overdue for a pedicure and came in as a walk-in. I waited less than 2 minutes before they were ready for me to sit down and relax. I was in heaven; massage chair, gentle massaging of my feet and all the amenities that go along with a Deluxe Manicure- I don't get pedicures too often- one every two/three months so I spend a little extra, as long as its worth it and it was!! It was the day before my best friend was getting married and all 8 of us wanted either a mani, pedi, or both. I called the day before and they were kind enough to schedule all of us!! Wow!!!When we arrived the salon was ready for us, all that we had to do was pick our polish and then be prepared to be pampered. All of us were pleased with our nails. The facility was clean and the staff was very nice. The staff was great with my friend (the bride), she needed a little extra help that day and they were great with her ;)I had a guy do my pedicure and he was off the charts fantastic!!!!!The best foot and leg massage I have EVER had and a really great experience overall.  We could not have been happier with the services and would highly recommend Lodi Nails & Spa! The first time I came here, I was speechless. I'm not really a nail girl. I usually just wait till the ends get somewhere past my nailbed and cut them haphazardly. I never liked the over-done, over-manicured look and equated it with pancake makeup. But the reality is, that clean and neat nails make a huge difference in your appearance. And after my mother started coming here, she stuck a twenty in my hand and convinced me to try them out. After witnessing the results of Andy's work at Lodi Nails & Spa, I realized what a fool I had been! He listened to me and cut them very short like I had asked and was careful during each step, taking his time. Absolute perfection. And to my amazement, the nails lasted for two weeks before I had to go in for a fill. I literally fly from Los Angeles to Lodi so I can get my nails done here. I've been all over Hollywood and Weho nail salons, even spending $30 for a fill (!), but everywhere pales in comparison. Don't let the mini mall detour you, you get more than you pay for. Read Less
