I've been to Tonys a couple times and I love when him & stephanie do my nails ONLY. I walked in on a friday. I got a full set of acrylics w. this holographic nail polish. As I walked to my car I noticed how my thumb nail was starting to look cracked. I ignored it for some reason, other than my nails being so ugly shaped they were all cracking. On saturday I woke up and all my nails had Lines on them... like.. that has never happened to me before. so later on that day one of my nails broke. I didn't hesitate to go in to let them know. and no problem they fixed it. At some point the lady that did my nails said 'i forgot to tell you that nail polish cracks alot! i put 2 coats of top coat but it still cracked" .. ???? soo why do they still have that color out? i dont get it but they did change the color and fixed my nail for free! .. well flash forward to today, tuesday, thumb nail just broke ????? no i wasnt lifting any type of heavy... i dont get it.. but im never going back again. and to top olit off i paid $50.. sooo not worth it. im done with this place. i threw my money away... I've been here a few times already.  The ladies here are really nice. The owners (Tony and Stephanie? I think that's their names) seemed nice too. They do a good job on your nails. I never really had anything bad to say. This salon is literally down the street from my work so it was on the more affordable side compared to other salons and it was convenient. But yesterday. I went in to get a fill. And the lady that worked on me was new. I haven't seen her before. She asked me if I like coffin shape. I said yes. And asked her to make my nails a little bit shorter. Then she does, and as she keeps filing. I ask her to make the corners a little more round because they were too sharp. (In the end. My shape ended up looking like square shape.) then she did the color. And at first. Before it goes into the light. It's a green Color. But after it turns blue. Which was fine. But I swear the color was suppose to be a darker teal. Then she did the top coat. And after. I wasnt too happy with my nails. I'm not a person to be too picky. Especially if I already tried to say what I want. And if they don't do it right still. I try not to keep mentioning it. I just let it go. But after I left. And today this morning. I woke up and notice my nails are all jacked up. There was lines and indents all over my nails. As If the gel color did not dry completely. Gel is already expensive to begin with. But I get gel so that I don't have to worry about them drying or not. 1, the shape was off, and 2. The color was off as well. But I was willing to be okay with it. But once I saw this morning how messed up it was. I had to go back to have it fixed. I paid $35 for a gel acrylic fill. And I tipped her 7 dollars. So I'm thinking. I should be okay to go in to have them fix it. Seeing as its not my fault. So I go in today. Around 6pm. There's no one else waiting but me. But all the techs were busy with customers. I tell them I need my nails redone because they look horrible. They tell me the wait is about 35 mins. I was hoping the lady who did my nails yesterday, (I think her name is Leslie) wasn't going to be the one who redos it. But she did. So I sit down at the chair next to her. And show them what what's going on with my nails. (KEEP IN MIND THAT THEY ARE SPEAKING VIETNAMESE.  AND I UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING THEY SAY) so they ask me if I want to change my color. I say yeah because I don't want to go with that gel color seeing as how it's not good for the way it turned out.I pick a color. And she does it. And I'm listening to them say to not charge me. Since I was just in yesterday. And then the lady doing my nails. Even said she noticed that I wasn't happy with them yesterday. She didn't expect me to come back so soon. I'm just sitting there listening. Pretending I don't understand anything they are saying in Vietnamese. Then they say how its really busy now. Other customers are waiting.  Then they say to charge me $10. I was already thinking. Maybe I should tip her if they don't charge. Which they shouldn't because this was not my fault in the first place. But then I thought. No. I should not tip. I gave a good tip yesterday already. For a job that was not done well at all. So lady is almost done with my nails. She tells me next time to let her know if I don't like the color. Then she will fix it for me. Because today I am lucky that it got busy after i already got here otherwise they would tell me to come back another day. I was biting my tongue to not argue back. I did not want to cause drama in their salon since they were busy. So I did not stand up for myself. And tell her I'm not here because I decided to change my nails color. I'M HERE BECAUSE THEY LOOK SHITTY. She was done. So I asked. Okay, how much. Thinking that they would do the kindly customer service thing and not charge me. But nope. She said $10. Then the owner. Stephanie? Turns to me. And says it's $10. And if I think it's not fair then they won't charge me. I said. No its not fair. But you are making me feel bad. So here is $10 and then I left. I am very unhappy and very upset. I basically paid 52 total for an acrylic gel fill. And for customer service that was terrible. Before leaving. I wanted to tell them I understand everything they say in Vietnamese. But I figure. Why be dramatic. They don't deserve my loyalty here anyways. So keep in mind. That this place, will talk shit about you, hit or miss when doing your nails and they up charge you when it's not your fault they did a SHITTY Job on your nails. Picture is the blue I got. And then I changed it to a nude color because the blue polish did not set completely If they did not charge me for the redo. I would've been happier with the end result. But I was not going to argue with them about because whats the point. They would have talked shit and complained about how I took up their chair time for a redo and made no profit from it anyways. So crazy to see that this place has bad reviews. I got my nails done today by Tony for the first time and he was great! Not only did he do an amazing job on my nails but he was so nice and welcoming. Him and the woman next to him suggested I try a powder ombré French tip and it's my new favorite!  Definitely going back! Read Less

I don't understand why this salon has such negative reviews. I had Stephanie do my nails and they came out beautifully! She took her time making sure my nails looked smooth and perfect. I will definitely be coming back! If you're worried about the other negative experiences people have reported, book am appointment with Stephanie and you will be just fine! Read Less

How many ways do you need to say french manicure and pedicure with hot stone? Foot scrub was painful! She "foot finished" forgetting hot stone. I was finished period. My instep is raw. This place was awesome 2 years ago... Walked in a week ago and it looks dirty and a little run down. The spa chairs look broken and uncomfortable. I went I. To have glitter fill with white top paid $53 including $10 tip. 3 days later my nails were lifting and chipping off. Went back and had them fixed, now three of my fingers are infected!! I only give this place 2 reviews because there is only one girl who I actually trust to do my nails there and she always does well. But now she only works on Sundays. I moved to CA from NJ in September and have been coming to this place on and off. The most recent time I had such a bad experience with two new girls. They did horrible jobs on a regular pedi and a gel manicure. The lady who did my gel manicure was rushing me around and working SUPER fast which caused her to mess up all the time. I had an infected cuticle on one finger and asked if they could do anything to help it. She did nothing and every time she went to that finger she would literally squeeze my finger on the infected area. Even though I told her multiple time to please not do that. She also barely massaged my hands and barely cleaned up my cuticles.  And my nails were all filed/cut uneven. Then when she was done she got the clear top coat all over my fingers. Before I left i complained to Stephanie and she tried to fix it but it didn't make a difference. As for the lady who did my feet. She barely filed my nails or cleaned up my cuticles. I also asked her to please do my cuticles especially on my big toes because I tend to get ingrown toe nails if not cut properly. She didn't do any of that. The massage was also her running her fingers up and down my calves, not even my feet. I am super disappointed with how my recent experience was because I thought I found a nail salon I really liked. I just love this place. I have been coming here for years! Tony and Stephanie are just incredible and the staff they have there really know what they are doing! Worst experience in a nail salon ever!!!!!! I will never come here again! I scheduled an appointment for two full sets at 1:30. My daughter and I arrived at 1:28. She was seated right away and the male nail tech started working on her. 15 minutes later and I get called over to sit with the same guy that was working on my daughters nails. So of course I'm super irritated because we made an appointment for two people. We should have our own nail techs and neither of us should have had to wait. Especially for 15 minutes.So I still have some left over acrylic on a couple of nails because I just took them off. He removes the acrylic from one nail by taking a fake nail and pulling up the acrylic with it. Is this the new way to do it? Probably not the proper way, I'm sure! He starts doing the same thing on my thumb nail, using either the fake nail or his own very long nasty nail. By this point I'm getting really grossed out and upset. The acrylic is stuck on one side and he begins to rip up part of my actual nail. I automatically pull my hand away and say owe. He grabs my hand and says, "It's okay." He proceeds to rip it up again and I pull my hand away, but his grip is too strong. At this point my nail is bleeding and I have to tell him to stop multiple times. I tell him forget it, that I'm done. He asks if I want him to glue it. I tell him no and I immediately wash my hands. Of course I still was going to pay for my daughters nail service. I walk up to pay. She had the pink acrylic done and it states it's $30 on the board. He ends up telling me that it's $38! I argued with him back and forth about it and decided just to give in because I just didn't want to be there anymore. This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I stopped by here for a quick mani and they were about to close. They serviced me very quickly and normally i would dislike that but i was also in a rush. I like my nails simple with just painted nail polish - no frills. They definitely delivered. The prices are great. Read Less
