Just left from my first appointment here and will not be going anywhere else in Livermore for my nails again! They did such a beautiful job and what was most notable was the amount of attention to detail they paid to each individual nail. The technician continuously inspected every angle of each nail and perfected the shape and thickness-and yet didn't take longer than any other place I've gone.They charged about $7 more for a fill than other places, but it's TOTALLY WORTH IT. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Ive been to this nail salon before and itt was ok. They are not the best. I called 1 month before my wedding. Me and 6 other ladies would be getting their nails done. First, being the bride they should have sat me first and offered champagne. No, this is not what happened. They sat 2 bridesmaids and my friends daughter first. Then 10 minutes later sat me and my maid of honor. They proceeded to make me wait 45 minutes while my other bridesmaids were getting serviced to even walk over and acknowledge that we had been waiting. I am a very easy going person and I was livid. This was completely unprofessional. They also told my other bridesmaid who had been waiting for a chair for 40 minutes that they would not assist her and she would not be seated because they were going to service a regular. This was absolutely a terrible experience and I will never go back here. If you have an event save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to go. Read Less

I love this place,the salon is cozy, nice and clean. The staffs are super sweet. And the most important reason why this place get a BIG 5 stars on top of everything is they are using a FULL LINE OF NATURAL PRODUCTS for MANICURE/PEDICURE and their Facial is amazing, you can see the huge different on your skin and look right after one time treatment. I've been here four times, and I'm never going back.The first two times, Tina helped me, and she was FAB! 100% amazing! So the third time I go in expecting to work with Tina, they looked so confused to see me first of all, and then they tell me Tina isn't working right now and they don't know when she'll be back. Um okay?So they set me up with the one and only man that works there. Now let me preface this by saying I have NOTHING against men doing nails, HOWEVER he was literally terrible. He hurt me quite a few times, destroyed my nails and then laughed when I told him it hurt. I never had any of these problems with Tina, and she was so quick! 45 minutes from beginning to end for a gel manicure. This guy didn't have a clue what he was doing and had to keep fixing my nail while he was painting it. Then he tells me I'm his first customer ever. Oh goodness. After an hour I finally told him it was good enough and left, steaming.I told my husband that I wasn't ever going back if I had to work with the guy. However, I'm the most non confrontational person you've ever met so when I went back in yesterday, and saw who my technician was, I chickened out and stayed. Big. Mistake.If possible he was worse than the first time. He cut my finger when clipping my nails, cut my cuticle too closely when trimming, and then put the alcohol on it. When I mentioned he hurt me, he LAUGHED again!!! Finally I couldn't take it anymore, and told him I was done. Needless to say I didn't get a manicure, and they STILL charged me $20 simply for taking the nail polish that I had on off. Now I need to find a new salon because I miss Tina, and I can't take the unprofessionalism and inexperience of Tips and Toes anymore. They were the TOP rated salon in my area, but apparently not anymore seeing as I need to find somewhere else where my nails are done quickly and efficiently and no one hurts me or laughs while doing it. I have been getting my nails done at Tips N Toes with my 2 daughters close to 11 years now. My granddaughters also love getting a mani / pedi from time to time!Tracy, Ha and all the ladies are very friendly and professional.  There must be every color imaginable to choose from. Today, Tracy did a Halloween theme from the top of her head & my nails look fun and pretty! I love them and can't wait to see what idea she can come up with for Thanksgiving. Thank you Tracy! I've been going to tips and toes for the past 10 years. I usually get a full set of acrylic sparkles done by Tracy. She always does a fantastic job and never cuts me and is always gentle. I LOVE ALL THE OPTIONS THEY HAVE WITH THEIR ACRYLIC SPARKLE COLORS!! Most places only have like 20 colors to choose from. TIPS AND TOES HAS LIKE 100!! Also fills there are great to, u never can tell its been a fill because how good of a job they do. They also have recently renovated and added alot of things. To sum it up you have plenty of choices when it comes to color for paint/acrylic/get and the prices is worth every penny because my nails always last and never break off but this isnt to say they are expensive because I dont think they are at all. When she is not available Christy, Sam and the rest of the staff are very good. The quality is excellent, and the customer service is superb!
