First time going to this place it was a nightmare! We made an appointment for 4 they were only able to help two of us on time I had to wait 20 mins to get my set of nails done the technician didn't even say hello! she said seat down. showed her the picture of what I want it she said ok. Long story short I came out with ugly nails I wanted not the natural color/look! I came out with pink with white tip! That didn't look good with my skin tone not to mention she didn't shape them right! she was in a rush because another lady was waiting for her! She had "no appointment" but it was promised she was gonna be help With in 40mins..after the lady left angry my technician started to be nice and asking questions. I wanted to be out of there to calm down! Called later that day and wanted to speak with a manager and I let her know what horrible job that lady did! The manager apologize an asked me to come the next day so did! Show her the picture she started taking the old ones off which it was so painful! Which I knew was going to be! Im not happy at all with my fill. It looks like a 2yr old painted my nails! One of them is filed uneven and they are ridged on the side. The lady who did the fill was determined to do gel, even if the color didnt match my toes! I will NOT recommend them to anyone. I started going to the original Tips n Toes for many years...when they opened Tips n Toes 2...I was so excited for the new decorations, chairs and overall experience. I have never had a bad experience at either shop. They do great spa pedicures with massage and do incredible artwork on my toes! I highly recommend them to everyone! Read Less

First time having my nails done here and they did a extremely great! The salon is very large with lots of seating and a variety of regular and gel nail polish. It is also very clean and calming. There also isn't a chemical nail scent. I got a mani/pedi and it didn't take long at all. I highly recommend this salon! Read Less

This is my go to nail spot! I've tried many places in this area and I will never go anywhere else! Let me tell you how amazing mu tech is. I have terrible hang nails and she always cleans them up for me. All of the tools are sterilized and placed in brand new packaging before being used on each client which I like! Me and both of my other sister's came here to get our manicures and pedicures. We were very much satisfied. This is a very clean, neat place and the staff is very welcoming including the owner himself. they do a very good job cleaning, scratching and nail polishing your toes and nails. You have a huge variety to choose the colors from. One of the best things were the Massage chairs. It's not like other places don't have them but these chairs were really good. It was my birthday and I wanted to get a manicure. I came on Yelp, to see what my choices were for nail salons closest to where I was currently at. After skimming through the reviews on the closest places, I decided that I would try this place. It was a couple of miles away, but of course...it didn't dawn on me that it's located in downtown Livermore. It was a Saturday afternoon, around 3PM, so parking can be tricky. I parked a block over by Livermore School of Dance and walked over. This location is pretty small. If you're driving by, you may miss it. But if you're walking, it's tucked in between two restaurants, I believe. I walked in, no appointment and asked if I could get a pedicure. The woman that greeted me said that it would be a couple of minutes and someone would be with me. The woman that did my nails was nice. She talked me into trying shellac, I picked out a sparkley color. I was looking around the salon and I really liked the way it was decorated. It didn't smell of acrylic or whatever nail salons smell like, which is a plus. I just liked the ambiance of the salon. It looked like they have a room in the back to do waxing as well. I paid $30 for my manicure. I have no idea if that's the average price to get shellac or if I got ripped off. But I do have to say, I really did like this salon.
