This salon is cluttered, dirty, and out-dated. Pedicure chairs are falling apart, pieces of junk mail taped to tables as "placemats", setting equipment used for shellac looks like it was all fished out of a lake. There was nail dust and acrylic powder all over the chairs and side tables, stains all over the furniture, walls, and floor.
Staff was typical of many of these types of salons... Indifferent to our presence, never spoke to us except for short commands, cold and unwelcoming... But plenty of loud chatting and laughing amongst themselves. They do not allow tips to be added on to credit/debit card payments and got pretty snippy with us for not knowing (this was our first time).
Only two redeeming factors. 1) They took us right away - two people for shellac Mani and pedi done at the same time (we were in a hurry) and 2) not only were they generous with the hand/feet massage - they actually give you a neck massage as well.
Given the number of other viable options for nails in Livermore, this place is definitely not worth a special trip.

Called and scheduled an appointment and asked for the cost of full set acrylic nails and they told me 30 over the phone. When I went in again and asked they told me 35 so I left. They aren't consisten...

I called 45 minutes before needing an appt for a mani/pedi. I had a set amount of time to be completely dry before I needed to leave. With two ladies working simultaneously on my feet and hands, I need not have worried. I was finished in 30 mins (including arm and neck massage) for both and now I am just waiting to dry. My toes look fabulous, my hands are ok, but that may be more to do with the polish than the application. (I rarely get my nails polished as I don't have the time to let them dry). It's convenient for me, plenty of parking. I will likely be back.

Had terrible service here today. Made an appointment prior to coming in but waited for 20 minutes before I was actually helped. Multiple people came in free me & were helped before me also. Once I was seated I Showed a picture of some acrylic nails I wanted, easy enough , but instead of the normal process which takes 30/40 minutes it took 2X that because the lady was on her phone throughout the process, talking on the phone AND FaceTiming in front on me! Nails turned out uneven and not like the picture AT ALL. Won't be coming back.

When i got home my big toe is swollen, i had to apply neosporin and my toe nail was cut incorrectly diagionally,(which is how u arent supposed to cut toe nails)...i will not return this place

Overall my experience was average to below average from start to finish. I called ahead and was told they could see me right away for a mani pedi. I brought my own color because I like to have an option I know I'll like. They got me seated after a couple minutes and started my services right away. The massage was good for both the mani and pedi, but they seemed to rush through painting my nails since more customers had come in. I was picking off extra top coat for hours afterwards. They didn't even help me put my flip flops back on before making me move to the drying area. I didn't appreciate having to walk on the dirty floor barefoot. When I asked to pay, they ran my card and after I signed with tip and total they said they don't accept tip on cards and would need cash. After they discussed they said it was ok this time, but that I'll have to remember for next time - I don't see myself going back.

Just finished a pedicure here. My husband and I both enjoyed our services. And we were very happy to see the use of sterilization here. Everything was taken out of the UV sterilizers, covers are used in the baths and all the women use gloves and mask. We would definitely come back here again.

I have been coming to this spa regularly for 6 years now, and they do a great job. They do their best to fit me in if I come without calling but they are also accommodating in setting up appointments on the same day. I get a pedicure (sometimes with Sea Salt Scrub) and a fill for acrylic nails. They have never torn off my lower nail as happens at some salons. Ann does a great job of coordinating the work, and my nails always look great.

The staff was friendly, but I definitely would not come back for a manicure. I asked for a gel manicure, and while they saw me right away, the woman went really quickly and missed some of my cuticles....

I asked for a gel manicure, and while they saw me right away, the woman went really quickly and missed some of my cuticles. She also put two coats of topcoat on one hand and one coat on the other...one week later, the polish isn't hanging on. The price was higher than where I regularly go, but I was offered a neck and shoulder massage for free that was lovely.

Hubby got me a gift certificate, shelac mani with the seasalt pedicure (I would do without the seasalt next time). I didn't have an appointment, I didn't have to wait a second. I had the pedicure and manicure done at the same time. The massage was one sided and shorter than a lot of what other reviewers were saying, but I didn't really come for the massage and I wasn't even expecting it. My mani lasted 3 weeks and pedi is still looking good. I didn't get the names of the ladies but I will definitely be back. Thanks again for all your hard work!

I had hesitated to try this place because it was only 3.5 stars average on Yelp - wish that had not deterred me (and this is why I have a love/hate relationship with Yelp). I got the best shellac manicure I've had in ages when I went there today -- the place is a little tacky (decor), but the nail technician that worked on me did an excellent job. She was very gentle when removing my existing shellac, and she did a perfect job painting my nails - didn't goop them up or make the shellac too thick, just a really nice job. And the arm and shoulder massage at the end really is extra nice.

At the end you also get a nice arm/neck/shoulder massage! I'd say this was a very enjoyable visit and I look forward to coming back again :)

By far the best pedicure in the area!! They have enough chairs and employees that no matter how busy I feel the wait it not too long. Their shop is very clean which is a big deal to me and they all spend a good amount of time on your manicure/pedicure. I have never once felt rushed now matter how busy it is and they give a good length massage for the price you pay for a pedi/mani. Highly recommend Serenity!!

I LOVE Serenity. It is the only place I go to in all of the Bay Area. The people who work here are very, VERY nice, once they sang me happy birthday when I went with my friends for my birthday , and they do an excellent job on my shellac manicures, and my pedicures. There massages are EXCELLENT. I even got my dad to come with my family and I one time. My only complaint is that it is a little on the high end of the price scale. Other than that, Serenity is great.

I tried a shellac mani and Lynn did an excellent job. She whipped it out in 45 mins and finished with a lovely arm AND neck/shoulder massage. My nails look wonderful... Very pleased! *note - they do take visa/mc however they like the tip in cash. I had none, so they let me add to the card since it was my first time and I didn't know! Just a heads up :)My only regret - I didn't go in sooner because of the negative reviews on yelp! Which were WRONG! I will be back for sure.

Not my go to salon but it gets the job done when I am in need of a pedicure because it's so close.+ clean and organized atmosphere+ not too much chit chatting aka talking smack about customers (I always pretend I'm not Viet - makes it more entertaining!)+ they let doggies in - walked the dogs down and spontaneously wanted a pedi - she even attempted to paint the lil one's nails+ friendly and not too pushy with all the add ons+ decent prices- pedi didn't last that long, white from french chipped a couple days later- they don't go to town on all the extra skin/cuticles like the hardcore Viet salons (said they can get in trouble for it, etc.) - that's one of the reasons I go get pedis in the first place! I can't dig in there myself and pick at all the extra skin

And the water was only barely like warm. For a cold day, I expected hotter water.I'd return to this salon. It is clean, it is in a good location, and you get what you pay for.

The shellak paint job is beautiful and has been in tact for 4 days now! Longest time ever. I even walked off from our hotel room and forgot my Visa. They allowed me to leave (left my id for "leverage" - my choice) and go to my hotel to get my Visa. They do not take AMEX :( If you have time go next door to Aventine for a facial!

I met my mom and a friend here for pedicures a few weeks ago. We had made an appointment the day of and they had our foot baths ready to go as soon as we got there (yay!). I was feeling really sick this day and nothing sounded better to me than a nice relaxing pedicure, unfortunately I was a little disappointed. The pedicure was OK but nothing fabulous that made me want to rush back. The prices seemed steep for what you get. For the price we paid I expected to have a longer more in depth pedicure (longer massage, more scrubbing, etc.). This place was large, very nicely decorated, clean and had an all around comfortable atmosphere. I may come back another time to try something different, perhaps a manicure? But as a first impression I was not impressed.

Pedicure chairs are falling apart, pieces of junk mail taped to tables as "placemats", setting equipment used for shellac looks like it was all fished out of a lake. She also put two coats of topcoat on one hand and one coat on the other...one week later, the polish isn't hanging on. Hubby got me a gift certificate, shelac mani with the seasalt pedicure (I would do without the seasalt next time). I didn't have an appointment, I didn't have to wait a second. I had the pedicure and manicure done at the same time. The massage was one sided and shorter than a lot of what other reviewers were saying, but I didn't really come for the massage and I wasn't even expecting it. My mani lasted 3 weeks and pedi is still looking good. I didn't get the names of the ladies but I will definitely be back. Thanks again for all your hard work!

I had hesitated to try this place because it was only 3.5 stars average on Yelp - wish that had not deterred me (and this is why I have a love/hate relationship with Yelp). I got the best shellac manicure I've had in ages when I went there today -- the place is a little tacky (decor), but the nail technician that worked on me did an excellent job. She was very gentle when removing my existing shellac, and she did a perfect job painting my nails - didn't goop them up or make the shellac too thick, just a really nice job. And the arm and shoulder massage at the end really is extra nice.

I came in as a walk in and waited for less than 5 minutes before I was in a chair getting my nails done. The staff was really friendly and they are willing to listen to what you really want done. At the end you also get a nice arm/neck/shoulder massage! I'd say this was a very enjoyable visit and I look forward to coming back again :)

By far the best pedicure in the area!! They have enough chairs and employees that no matter how busy I feel the wait it not too long. Their shop is very clean which is a big deal to me and they all spend a good amount of time on your manicure/pedicure. I have never once felt rushed now matter how busy it is and they give a good length massage for the price you pay for a pedi/mani. Highly recommend Serenity!!

I LOVE Serenity. It is the only place I go to in all of the Bay Area. The people who work here are very, VERY nice, once they sang me happy birthday when I went with my friends for my birthday , and they do an excellent job on my shellac manicures, and my pedicures. There massages are EXCELLENT. I even got my dad to come with my family and I one time. My only complaint is that it is a little on the high end of the price scale. Other than that, Serenity is great.

This place is on my way home from work in Fremont so I tried it, despite the less than stellar reviews. I loved them! They took me no problem, no appointment. I tried a shellac mani and Lynn did an excellent job. She whipped it out in 45 mins and finished with a lovely arm AND neck/shoulder massage. My nails look wonderful... Very pleased! *note - they do take visa/mc however they like the tip in cash. I had none, so they let me add to the card since it was my first time and I didn't know! Just a heads up :)My only regret - I didn't go in sooner because of the negative reviews on yelp! Which were WRONG! I will be back for sure.

Not my go to salon but it gets the job done when I am in need of a pedicure because it's so close.+ clean and organized atmosphere+ not too much chit chatting aka talking smack about customers (I always pretend I'm not Viet - makes it more entertaining!)+ they let doggies in - walked the dogs down and spontaneously wanted a pedi - she even attempted to paint the lil one's nails+ friendly and not too pushy with all the add ons+ decent prices- pedi didn't last that long, white from french chipped a couple days later- they don't go to town on all the extra skin/cuticles like the hardcore Viet salons (said they can get in trouble for it, etc.) - that's one of the reasons I go get pedis in the first place! I can't dig in there myself and pick at all the extra skin

My paint looks pretty and after 3 days still looks perfect :)The bad: My lady had long nails that dug into my skin during the massage and she also used them to scrape off paint while painting my toes. And the water was only barely like warm. For a cold day, I expected hotter water.I'd return to this salon. It is clean, it is in a good location, and you get what you pay for.

My service was amazing! The total for a spa pedi & shellak mani was $55! Super affordable. My nails tend to chip, ding and just plan get ruined within moments of finishing my manicure. The shellak paint job is beautiful and has been in tact for 4 days now! Longest time ever. I even walked off from our hotel room and forgot my Visa. They allowed me to leave (left my id for "leverage" - my choice) and go to my hotel to get my Visa. They do not take AMEX :( If you have time go next door to Aventine for a facial!

I met my mom and a friend here for pedicures a few weeks ago. We had made an appointment the day of and they had our foot baths ready to go as soon as we got there (yay!). I was feeling really sick this day and nothing sounded better to me than a nice relaxing pedicure, unfortunately I was a little disappointed. The pedicure was OK but nothing fabulous that made me want to rush back. The prices seemed steep for what you get. For the price we paid I expected to have a longer more in depth pedicure (longer massage, more scrubbing, etc.). This place was large, very nicely decorated, clean and had an all around comfortable atmosphere. I may come back another time to try something different, perhaps a manicure? But as a first impression I was not impressed.
