VIP is AMAZING!!!!! I started going to Danny @ VIP after the ownership change & I have never been disappointed! Danny is very friendly & a ridiculously talented nail tech! I always leave super giddy & excited to show off my new nails! He has recreated pictures perfectly, turned my crazy ideas into reality, & come up with really cool designs on his own for me when I give him the creative lead. He’s just phenomenal! You can tell he really takes pride in his work. I only get a fill every 4-5 weeks & I have never had any issues with lifting or yellowing, & best of all, the salon is CLEAN!! This was my second time in and just as the last time they were all friendly, welcoming and informative. I've always done full set acrylic with Polish as my hands are always in water so my natural nails are weak and chip all the time. They talked to me about the dipped powder and it's always hard for me to try new things as I'm so set in my ways but I'm thankful they helped me break out of that habbit and try something different! Went to get a last minute pedicure with a friend and I am very disappointed with the job that was done. At first I thought the pedicure was ok but after seeing it in the light it became apparent that they turned out pretty bad. Parts of each toe was left unpainted or smudged, my heels were still rough, and my toe nails were cut very lopsided. Had such high hopes because of the 5 star reviews but I could have done a better pedicure myself. I will not be back which is such a bummer since this salon is in my neighborhood. Read Less

I was looking for a place for my husband and I to get pedicures together and came in based on the Yelp reviews and was not disappointed! The salon was so pretty and clean. We were put into our chairs and both of us got the Milk and Honey pedicure. The girls taking care of us were friendly with ready smiles, sealed and sterilized instruments, and made us feel so pampered. This was my husband's first ever pedicure and he is already talking about going back, which is a win for me ;) I am already planning on returning for my next gel fill as their prices are the same as my current salon but the atmosphere is so much better. Found VIP Nail & Spa salon on yelp, had good ratings so took a chance and scheduled a bridal shower for my daughter. Upon arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner, I had scheduled pedicures and manicures for 8 (including 1 child). The nail technicians did a really great job (and I had a couple of picky women with us ), each individual had their own packaged nail equipment which was a plus. I have been coming to VIP Nails for the last few months now and I'm obsessed with this salon.  After moving here from the Bay Area recently, my search for a nail salon turned into a scavenger hunt.  Finding one that doesn't have tables filled with dust shavings and nail clippings on the chairs is quite the challenge let alone someone who can just paint correctly and shape your nails how you like them.  VIP nails NAILED it! With an extremely clean, highly organized salon filled with friendly and professional nail techs, they are a salon you definitely want doing your nails.  I called to make an appointment for a mani and pedi and Rachel who is one of the owners did my nails.  They open and use brand new tools and files every single time! Being a major germaphobe my eyes lit up when I saw them do this.  Most salons just put them in jars filled with antibacterial liquid, mainly because it very expensive to have new tools every time, but VIP does not mess around when it comes to sterilization and they win big time in my book for doing that. They have a big array of colorful jars filled with all different scrubs and lotions showcased in the back for your pedicure.  This is all placed onto a pretty platter which is a nice change from the typical polished stained rolling carts.  I really like that the chairs for your pedicures are placed a little toward the back, mainly for the men who may be shy to go in and get one haha.  While walk in's are welcomed they really do like appointments.  I know some of the salons I have been to in the past say to make an appointment but take walk in's first, this is not the case here and that is much appreciated.Rachel and Danny who recently became new owners of this salon since January of 2017 has done a great job maintaining the quality and cleanliness of this salon while providing great customer service. With no affiliation with the previous owners please take note that any reviews posted in 2016 are from customers that were with the others owners before ruling them out. Update; Danny was very kind and reached out to me. We set up a time the same day and he fixed my nails. I choose something different and he worked quickly to get me in and out. I appreciate the business reaching out to fix a wrong.____________________________________________________I went to VIP just yesterday to get a mani-pedi for a friends wedding on Saturday. I saw they had good reviews and decided to give them a try (I'm brand new to the area so I hadn't tried any salons around town yet). I was happy enough with both my mani and pedi. I showed them a design with a neutral color and a gold stripe going horizontally across the top of the nail and they told me that would be a nail sticker. No big deal, I figured that's what it was when I chose that design. Well, less than 24 hours after my manicure I showered and the gold stripe is peeling off! I would much rather they had told me it won't stick well and I would have definitely chose something else rather than spending $90(after a tip) for something that wouldn't even last a day! So now there is an indent going across my nail where the sticker has peeled off. I'm just super disappointed. Read Less

Love this place!!  Found a real gem here and no more expensive than other nail salons.Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I get a gel fill every couple of weeks and they have SO many gel colors to choose from. They have chrome and also do nail art too! Danny is super fast and I'm in and out within an hour. I am new to the area and am looking to replace my long time Bay Area nail peeps. With recommendations from Good Neighbors of Lincoln, I had a mani-pedi yesterday at VIP Nails & Spa. They were able to get me in for a same day appt. The salon is under new ownership/management since about the first of the year and is looking to grow their customer base. The salon is extremely clean and stylish. Danny did a great job on my nails (I know how I want them done and he did exactly as requested) I highly recommend this salon for a great relaxing mani-pedi. Wow! I just moved to Lincoln and if you are looking for a clean and beautiful place where you know when you walk out you will not get germs or whatever from unsanitary acts....GO HERE! I was amazed by the incredible set-up they have and those pedicure spas they have are nothing I have ever seen or experienced. It's like imported marble or whatever. They never use the same scrubber on your feet (yep you heard me) they throw it away after they use it on you. They use this big ole liner to line the foot pedicure spa so you do not get germs from the previous customer either. And the working spa chairs are just to good to be true! I fell asleep so you know its good. I also had my cuticles cleaned and cut and that was awesome. And they have the hand dryer at each station for each hand instead of those fans!!! NO ONE DOES THAT EITHER....The people that work there are all family and they treat you like family too....so nice! The place is in the shopping center next to TOWER MART on Nicolaus and Lakeside close to Subway so make sure you don't miss it.
