The ladies here were super friendly and for a $24 pedicure I was shocked It included a sugar scrub, hot towels, and a good callous scrubbing. They did a great job! Only difficulty is language barrier-- my gal and I didn't speak each other's language and so we didnt chat at all and for color and payment I had to ask another gal there. Although the store itself needs updating, I can't tell you how happy I am with my nail technician, Kimmie. She goes above and beyond when it comes to quality of nails. Pedicures are ok, but again, quality is good there too. I definitely recommend to anyone asking.Read Less

This family owned nail salon is top notch. Prices are comparable to other nail salons, but the service is incomparable. The salon is located in a historic (old) building in downtown Lincoln, so the space is not modern/contemporary. However, there is a charm about the place that is reflected among the staff. I have been going to this place for about 7 years now.  I always have the owner do my services.  She does a great facial waxing, very meticulous.  I once went to a more expensive place that actually ripped some skin off my cheek bone, that has never happened here.  I also get pedicures here which are fantastic - they take their time and do everything.  I had a pedicure done at the spa at Thunder Valley and they filed so much on my baby toe they made it bleed, once again, that has never happened here.  I have always had a great experience and there prices are great. LOVE LOVELY NAILS!! Had to get a fill and change my gel polish color. Wasn't too thrilled with my last salon so I looked around. Their cute little spot is right in old downtown Lincoln. All of their employees are so nice! My friend and i walked in and were immediately greated with warmth. Her 8 y/o son was with us and they brought him a chair tho sit next to is instead of the waiting area. They really cleaned up her hands and painted them gorgeous. My touch up was Awesome! My mother (88 yrs) and I went in yesterday for pedicures and manicures for the first time and were treated superbly.  They were very attentive (not rushed) and we are extremely pleased with their work. I believe in supporting local businesses if they are deserving.  This salon  cares about their customers and wants them to be satisfied. My Aunt has been coming here f-o-r-e-v-e-r...lol but I've only been coming here for a couple years but they are awesome. They do the best pedicures. I have calluses from hell and when I leave my feet feel soft and smooth. Kimmie her mom are great but I have to say Vinnie is the super best she does such a great job on my  pedicures. I have been getting my nails for 15 yrs and when I'm due for a touch up I would just find any salon to do them until I found Lovely Nails!! I have been loyal to this salon for 3yrs now and will not go anywhere else! Kimmie does a AMAZING job on my gel manicure I work in the dental field and am very rough on my nails and I can still go 3weeks in between my visits due to the quality job she does and in the event I do chip or break a nail (always my fault) she fixes it and never charged me or makes me feel bad. They really go the extra mile to ensure you are a happy customer and return again. Kimmie always paints beautiful artwork on my nails for which I get compliments on daily! The place is not fancy but customer service and quality is A+!!! They did a good job on the gel mani's and price was fair. I'm giving 3 stars because it's not very clean and when she was done doing my mani she put the brush she just used on me in the big bottle of solution that they use for everyone then wiped it off with toilet paper and put it away as clean :( Read Less

I have tried many places in the area for not only good customer service, but somewhere that is decent priced with great quality and Lovely Nails is it! The shop is pretty small and the first time is kinda hard to find. They are so nice there and will remember who you are and will always greet you and make you feel welcomed. Called ahead to ask if they did gel pedicures and was informed that they did.  When I got to my appt and asked to see the gel polishes the man waiting on me (never did get a name) told me they didn't do gel pedicures.  When I said that I had called in and asked this, he agreed to do it.  He did not know how to remove the gel properly and ending up drilling it off my toes.  This was after he tried to yank a piece of polish off and ripped my toenail.  The water in the foot bath was scalding, I'm not a wimp, I love hot water, but I couldn't keep my feet submerged in the boiling water.  I did not get the parafin wax part of the pedicure that everyone else was receiving, though I was charged full price for my pedicure.  He also tried to shove both of my fee under the UV light at the same time.  I have small feet (size 6.5) but they still don't fit under the lamp at the same time.  My little toe kept getting burned.  I am also amazed he didn't ruin the polish trying to shove both my feet in there. To top it off the guy was incredibly rude and demanding the whole time I was there, definitely not a relaxing experience.  I was looking to save a little on my no chip pedicure and I did, $33 here compared to the $75 I paid elsewhere.  However, I definitely got what I paid for and I think I'd rather pay the extra for the better treatment.  My grandmother got a pedicure at the same time from one of the female employees, who was very sweet and did a lovely job.  She's definitely going back.  I'm not, for fear of getting the same guy again. Lovely Nails is a great nail salon. The prices there are very affordable and reasonalble. Their spa pedicure is absolutely amazing! Not to mention their acrylic set. I would definitely recomend Lovely Nails to anyone. Great Service, Great Prices, and Great Find!! They have two T.V's going to make the wait go by faster. They also have a slurplus ammount of magazines to read while you wait. They have a freindly atmosphere and often try to make conversation while you are being "worked" on. They are great on deals, like if you are a few dollars short they will be forgiving. Although the space may be small and often overlooked it is a great find. Read Less
