I will never step foot back in this place ever again. I wish I could just post a picture of my nails and toes a waste of $70.00. My toe nails was cut way to short and cricket. It look like my 3 year old polish my toes. This guy had polish all over my toes and didn’t even try to clean around it. My finger nails was cricket and I know longer had the coffin shape I had when I walked in this place. When this guy got done I still looked like I needed a fill in. Don't go here! I should have checked the reviews before I went! Such a half ass job! I had to ask her to cute my cuticles(twice). She cut my nails when I asked her to file them. Did a 2 second massage on my feet and then my hands she just didn't do it. I told her she forgot my massage and just smiled at me! Read Less

The place is beautiful but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I had a pedicure and asked the gentleman to cut my nails as close as possible and didn't pay much attention after that. Ended up having to cut them myself again after i got home. My heels were left very rough, I don't think lotion was even put on them. Ended up redoing my heels as well. Read Less

I've tried several nail places over the years in charleston-this one, by far, is my fav!! The decor is welcoming and the staff is great! My sns always lasts an entire month-and that's NEVER happened anywhere. John & Jenny are super friendly along with the rest of the crew. I highly recommend to everyone looking for a new salon! I have never done a review before. I walked in to a nice greeting & set-up. However, the man who did my nails (4th chair Hung) was rude. If I let him know it was my first time getting a dip done. If I asked a question, he would seem to get frustrated. He was also hurrying/rushing (mind you I’m the only one in the salon). I figured he was sick or didn’t feel good as he kept sneezing/sniffling so I thought okay as long as they look good! He asked me to pay in the middle of it (...no problem) & I didn’t give as much of a tip as usual as I felt rushed & due to the rude comments. It would have been less if I paid afterwards. We were ‘done’ and I was left sitting there waiting while everyone in the salon sat on their phones. I kept asking if I was done yet. Finally I walked up to him & let him know I had some scratches because filed my nails last... when I asked about a coat he basically ‘shooed’ me away. I was very disappointed from start to finish with my SNS service. They soaked my hands in Acetone to remove my previous SNS instead of individually wrapping each nail with Acetone-soaked cotton and foil. They proceeded to drill on my real nails throughout the process after I requested them not to. It was apparent they were rushing through my service to accommodate their wait list. My cuticles and the skin surrounding my fingers were very roughly cut (bleeding in some spots). ...He also stuck my hands under UV lighting after he finished to "dry". Lastly, the color I selected in their sample was nowhere close to what I ended up with. $50 will get you the same service I received. I pay for SNS services twice a month at other establishments and have been doing so for a while. This was by far the worst experience I've received. I went there on Monday with my friend. It's a nice place but it just kinda pricey. I kept feeling like they were talking about us while doing our nails. The guy who did my nails was on the phone the majority of the time. When we walked out I still had nail glue around my nails and gel acrylic on my cuticles. They did a TERRIBLE on my mom. She only went for a fill on her short nails while I got a full set. Not only was I done before her but the guy who did her nails was so heavy handed that filed all of the acrylic off from the sides of her nails leaving her natural nail exposed on most of her fingers. 2nd time there and a bad experience every time. Been going to VIP nails for two years now and the last six months I’ve gotten my nails done with in two days One or two nails will break I didn’t let it bother me until this time three of my nails broke days apart in th first week of getting my nails done. Was in the area and needed a gel manicure and pedicure. Needless to say the gel manicure was horrible.  The technician didn't know what she was doing. After barely soaking my previous gel off, she used a tool to scrape what had lifted off but was taking off my own natural nails. Not to mention, previously filing the old gel off with the machine (being lazy) vs using a nail file. Then she proceeded to cut my cuticles without having put cuticle softener or pushed them back. I had to tell her what to do. She barely spoke English and someone who barely spoke English as well had to translate for her.  I am for giving credit where credit was due. My pedicure was good. Hence me giving one star. I will not be returning to this place.  I suggest you not go there either. Brought my 17 year old daughter to get her nails done. She got in the car super satisfied. Said the young man who did her nails did an excellent job with the marble design. Would post a picture of the finish touch but don't know how. Definitely she wants to come back.💖 Read Less

Beautiful facility, horrible service. Very rushed, it was obvious others were more important. Very short and rude wth payment. Went through so quickly without care. When you get a pedicure you want to be pampered and cared for, this place definitely didn't do that. We have been multiple times to this location and keep giving chances but we definitely won't be back ever again. Read Less

I liked the service until today when John was using the electric file to remove the polish off my toes and I jerked a bit because I was sensitive to the touch because of having a stroke, he looked at me like he wanted to kill me.
