Place is very nice and spacious looks clean for the most part. I called at 4PM to verify that if I was to come in they would be able to do my nails and the lady told me yes come in we can do them now I literally arrived 7 minutes later and still waiting 35 minutes for them to get to me. While waiting another lady came in who didn't speak English so I translated for her but the lady who worked there cut me off and said she can tell me this in an hour when she comes back because we are busy now so I said No, because I might not be here in an hour so let me just tell you what she is wanting so when she gets back you guys will know. Well she ignored me and walked away so the Mexican lady I was translating for just walked out. I felt really bad for her and I just thought it was rude. So they finally get to be about 5:15 and started on my pedicure which was expensive they charge about 17$ extra for gel and they have a lot of small extra fees. So I originally went in for mani and pedi they finished my pedi which was an okay pedi nothing special but did the job. I was sitting waiting for them to get started on my nails and NOTHING it was 6 something by this time and I literally walked up and said can I pay for my pedi please and left. Mind you while I was sitting waiting for my mani they had called two females before me to get started on them that got  there way after me. I was livid. I was there for about 2.5 hours and only had a pedi done. I would never go back here again! they were rude and spoke vitaminesse the whole time to eachother and by the tone of their voice I'm sure they were talking about people in the salon (us customers). I had usually been coming here for years, however no one else that I'd bring with me to try it out liked them. Partly because they didn't like their nails, partly because they're rude. After yesterday I can officially say I will never come back here. They are super rude, all of them, and I've always noticed but tried to ignore it because I usually liked my nails. Yesterday however, and not for the first time, they took someone who walked in after me and didn't even sign in. Didn't even acknowledge me. Can't say this is the first time. 10/10 the rudest nail salon and they always leave your cuticles looking bad even with a manicure. Also my sister had a pedicure last time she went there and literally walked out mid pedicure because the rude lady cut her. Great work done here. They won't do any special stuff like stamps or 3D art but they are fast and good. Been here several times and never been cut or burned, it's a quiet atmosphere. They have about 10 spa pedicure chairs and 4 nail stations. There's always about 5 ppl working so they can usually accommodate walk-ins no problem. Read Less

I gave this place 3 stars .One star because I'm ok with the results I get from my pedicure.One star because the salon is clean and comfortable. One star because the owner/ manager is usually nice. I took away two stars . One because I've gotten my nails done here and wasn't happy with them. I blame the quality of the products they use. This is the worst nail salon in the valley and I've been to many of them here. I went into have a basic pedicure done and first had to wait for over 30 mins and then when I had my pedicure done the lady really hurt my toes, especially my left big toe.....she was literally ripping the skin off from around my toe nails! I'm a big guy and I can take a lot of pain, but this was excruciating and my toe still hurts a week after it was done! I am never going back again and do not recommend anyone going there!! Read Less

I've been to Lancaster Nails a couple times when I wasn't able to get into my usual nail salon for a fill. They do a decent enough job but they're not up to par. Both times that I went there, my nails needed a fill a couple of weeks after having had them done there. The last time I went, I had the gel polish applied and it was done very poorly (by a so called experienced female tech). One of my nails chipped shortly after. I went to get my nails for the first time ever here, when I got there the staff was okay they greeted me, I sat down and Lisa started doing my nails she was very nice and it didn't hurt but it felt very very rush I wanted an oval shaped nail but it came out square.... at first I was like it was fine whatever but the more I looked at it the more I hated it, my nails was uneven I got gel nail polish she only put two coats and I can still see the acrylic underneath, I paid 35$ for the nail to pop out by a week and a half I went back today to give it another chance I even brought a friend with me, I wanted new sets of nails and she said I just needed a retouch of my old nails instead of a new set, she kept insisting "just touch up" I asked her since only one nail came off how much to retouch she said "$30 and 40$ for a new set" that didn't make sense to me at all why would I pay 30$ for a retouch if I can pay another nail salon 35$ for a new set.Overall I won't be coming back. Was my first time here. I took my daughter to get a pedicure and I got a full set and my eyebrows done. I was very happy with my daughters pedicure not so happy with my nails at all the lady didn't spend time and they were uneven. I got gel nail polish and she didn't paint the sides. Im very pick when it comes to pedicures. I hate when they dont even remove the cuticle and just clean yiur toes. Well, this place do a great job. they have a list of pedicures to choose from and its really relaxing. Tiffany normally does both my nails and pedicure and i like she is very detail oriented. i just dont like the fact they take too long sometimes and dont honor appointments. I came in today with the idea that I wanted to get my nails done for my baby shower for next week. I admit it was VERY busy (around 4:30-5:00) but I was in no rush and waited patiently,  I signed in and a lady let me know I'd be seen next, most people walking in just wanted eyebrow waxing. When I was called on the lady (CIndy) asked exactly what I wanted and worked with me to see what design I wanted. She started chatting with me animatedly and was very kind, she gave me an adorable design for my nails and feet and did not hurt me ONCE. I went with my baby so we could enjoy a mother daughter experience. It was slow when I walked in. So it started nice, once it started getting busy we because second best and the lady started rushing our pedicures and kept looking at the people waiting and rushing to get their next dollar. I wanted a simple Minnie Mouse design on my daughter's big toes. A simple black dot for the head and two dots for the ears a simple Minnie head . She said she couldn't do a bow on the Minnie design because my  4 year old daughters nails were too small . I said ok then just leave it like that as Mickey with no bow. She said ok then she process to add whiskers with a white brush . I said to her , that's not Mickey, he doesn't have whiskers ! She erased the design leaving black stains on my baby's toes. Then processed on finishing my pedicure as my baby sat there. She corrected smeared polish on my feet and continued with my girl, I told her not to do a design on my baby but she proceeded to do it, of course more money on her pocket,  without clearing all the polish mixed with black from the previous design, she painted my baby's toes, at the end I asked her to clean the black around my baby's toes, and fix my smeared polish on my middle toe that she kept ignoring. I like Lancaster Nails, I feel they do a good job consistently and regardless of which manicurist you are assigned. I usually get a gel manicure and regular pedicure for $45 and usually tip 20%. I don't go out much to get my nails done as I have equipment for gel manicure at home so going out is definitely a splurge.Now, the owner/manager here is quite abrasive in terms of personality, but, she doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I quite like her. I have heard her speak very directly to some and can see how that could throw people off. On another note, my mother in law (mil) actually turned me on to this place maybe two years ago. But, a few months ago, my mil got me a gift certificate for this place for my birthday. She relayed the story telling me that she had to go in to retrieve the certificate incognito as the owner lady had thrown her out weeks prior. She said she was waiting for the owners husband and had called many times asking for his schedule since my mil wanted him to do her nails (that was her nail guy). Apparently, the mil's calls pissed the owner off, and when she came in and was actually getting her nails done by the husband, the mil and owner got into an argument, and the owner told her not to come back. I had a difficult time getting to the salon. That should have been my first clue. They said they could take me right away. It ended up taking a long time to start. I was there over an hour for a gel manicure which was not very good. I left with my nails uneven and jagged on the edges. Gel polish on my nails as well as my fingers.  And some of my previous polish still on and showing on the edges..The staff whispered and laughed to each other in their language.  and she was watching tv as she did my nails...no wonder they turned out bad. I started going here with my grandma exactly about a year ago. The first time they were kinda rude to my grandma because she has alzheimer's and kept repeating herself about things and they didn't understand why. But I keep coming because my grandma remembers the place and I don't want to switch it on her. And now that my grandma pretty comfortable here she doesn't repeat her self to then so much and the recognized her so they are nicer. I don't know if it's language barrier or what but my aunt recommended I go to this place and in forming my own opinion I think I'll pass from here on out and only get nails done in SD!  Got charged $45 bucks for Gel Pedi...ya wtf!!! But thats cause the $5 up charge for "French" tips!
