Came here for my first time the other night. Walked in 30 minutes before closing and they were happy to give me a manicure. Other people walked in 10 minutes before closing and they helped them to. I got my lashes extensions here few months ago. Kay did my lashes (I think she own the business). She did a pretty good job!! They only do appointments. So make sure to make an appointment before heading there. The place is always busy. The whole process took 2 hours but it's all worth it coz she took her time. I'm pretty religious when it comes to getting my nails done. I've also been pretty commitment phobic and since this salon is only convenient after work, I've gone to quite a few other salons since being out in OC. But so far, nothing has compared to their consistency and why I keep going back.I've had long, short, squared, oval, round, squoval, almond/semi-stiletto shaped nails done here. Each by different technicians. As each visit comes, I'm scared that it would be that one time that I'll be disappointed. Especially this last one where she had to really be careful in cutting and filing to have to properly shape it but she "nailed" it (haha accidental pun). :P Never had I been disappointed in how it's come out.The spa pedi chairs are pretty relaxing, tub is kept clean. At times I've made an appt. but walk-ins are welcome. Wait time can be a little bit of a wait but not too crazy during the week.I will echo it's not the fanciest as with most Asian ran nail shops. But by far not the worse. Quite affordable. Gel nails are $20 and with a a spa pedi it's less than $40 without tip. That definitely matters especial for some silly money wasting girly maintenance stuff that I sometimes shake my head over. I look at my nails and think...uggh, it's grown out already. Is it over 3 weeks now Bye bye dinero. Good thing about gel nails and how they do em here, they just grow out, rarely are there any peeling at the tip. So unless you want sip on some bubbly and smell the scent of lavender, as you get your nails did and are will to pay double that cost, this is definitely a smarter choose. Read Less

Walked in, no one acknowledged us, when they did, we didnt know who they were talking to. Finally got seated after 20 min. Then waited another half hour for pedicure to start. Tools were not clean, we even asked and the answer was "they set up differently". We were there for 3 hours....for a basic pedicure. She kep t touching up one toe over and over. Polish on that toe is so thick and bumpy. Will NEVER go there again. You get what tou pay for $15. Read Less

I am giving this place 2 stars for the service and for the cheap price. The manicurists were really sweet and did a good job.Low rating because:Not very clean. Everything is extremely best up from the furniture to the towels. The owners kids run around yelling for the bathroom, opening doors. Their toys are everywhere.The owner yells at her employees from across the salon very angry and you just feel very uncomfortable.Overall loud, this is not the place to come and relax. I'm sad to post such bad review of the place I've been going to for the past 6 years. However, the quality of service has changed so dramatically since I started coming here, I won't be their patron anymore. 1. It's not a nail spa or salon it's a sweatshop. The place looks really run down and dirty. It has no AC. And the odor of acetone is overpowering. The chairs are crammed into a very tight space. I overheard the workers saying that they work long shifts (until 7pm) 7 days a week. They do look exhausted. 2. Very high rotation of staff. It's never a good sign. It seems that many start here to learn and once they become good they look for another place to work. It makes sense b/c of the working conditions there. 3. The workers are super sweet but often have no idea what they are doing. So many times I'd come back home, take a closer look and still have calluses (I paid for their removal) or the nail polish would peel off within 2 days. 4. Ultimately you get what you pay for. $15 pedi (+$5 for callus removal) is super cheap. But since recently I'm always unhappy with the results - it's just a waste of time, not a relaxing experience. One day I decided to take the step I needed to find a nail shop. So with another nudge from my husband, I agreed that it was time I find a nail shop locally instead of traveling 45 minutes. I looked in Google to find a shop nearby. I found one 2 to 3 minutes away. I told them what I wanted (decorative French nails) and they said we can do it. I said I had a picture, they said, no problem. Well, I've been there, at least 4 times and I haven't stumped them yet. The atmosphere is fun. The price is especially good and I tell everyone about the shop. That is if they hadn't admired my beautiful nails. Read Less

This place is my go to nail place. I've tried other nail places but none compare. I always go to Kay! She does a great job every time. They have countless choices for gel nail polish as well as regular nail polish. They get rushes sometimes so it's best to call before you head in to make sure you get a spot in a pedicure chair or at a manicure table.
