I love this place so much! I do my eyelash and recently done for my eyebrow with Lana! She is an amazing happy, bright and lovely person I know... also, she always make me happy every time. I have been going to Paris Nails since they opened. I have honestly never had anything but fantastic service and knowledgable technicians. About 10 months ago, I decided to try lash extensions. Lana has been doing my lashes ever since. I get so many compliments, even from my eye doctor, on the excellent job Lana does. I have also had my brows microbladed by Lana. She is so meticulous with everything she does, and it shows in her work. It is obvious that Lana has spent ...countless hours taking the best courses offered for this kind of expertise. I trust her completely. I also like Paris Nails because the staff is so accommodating, the atmosphere clean and inviting and as a customer I can tell they don't just hire "anyone". I get pedicures regularly and was looking for a spot which offered more than a regular pedicure with offerings like a sugar scrub, additional foot massage, etc... Friends advised Pinkies for their deluxe pedicure which includes a sugar scrub and additional 10 min foot/calf massage. I made an appointment for my friend and I for 2 Deluxe Pedicures and we both were looking forward to a nice relaxing treatment. Unfortunately relaxing was not in the game plan for Pinkies.From start to finish our pedicures took approximately 30min and that included the additional services of a sugar scrub and 10min foot/calf massage. How is that even possible!?!?There was nothing enjoyable about this pedicure. What should have been a nice relaxing experience was nothing but rushed, uncomfortable and unenjoyable. My friend mentioned after that they did not even scrub out heels, how does one miss that? As a realtor in the area I was planning on purchasing a nice gift card for a client but after that experience no way. I would be so embarrassed to refer a client there and have them experience what I did. The establishment was scattered, people hurrying all over the place and they just seemed to want to get people in and out as quickly as possible. Really would have expected more for Lafayette. I have been going to Pinkies for years--first in SF and now in Lafayette since we moved to Oakland.  The services are a bit more expensive than other places but definitely worth the drive and the cost for several reasons:  1.  They take appointments and are actually ready for you when you arrive!  I can't stand waiting for a half hour, even with an appointment, which happens at most other places that can't manage their reservations.  2.  It's never too crowded and you don't feel rushed.  I hate going to crowded shops where they push you out of the spa chair as soon as they can to put someone else in.  I love the fact that I can stay in the same place for the pedicure and pedicure, even if they don't happen simultaneously.  And if I want to stay a little longer and finish up a magazine article I am reading or wait until my nails are really dry, they don't rush you out.  3.  The nails techs are friendly and seem to be happy to be there.  I hope this is because they are treated well and make a decent wage.  If that is the case, I am happy to pay a little bit more. I brought my daughter, 3 years old, to her very first nail appointment at a salon for an impromptu mommy-daughter date. They were able to squeeze us both in for our last minute appointment and were so incredible friendly, which is huge by itself. Not only this, but when my toddler had her daily meltdown in the middle of my nails drying, instead of ignoring the screaming child, they did everything they could to turn her around and make her have a great experience. They offered her treats and juice to get her to smile and she eventually went with them to pick out her colors for her nails. They went above and beyond to make sure my daughter loved her nails as much as I did mine. We will definitely be back!!! Read Less

This salon has a lot of locations and the location I'm writing about is in Lafayette. Making an appointment was pretty easy called the place but it was funny that the only appointment they had was for 3pm, Okay.. no big deal.. busy is good, but when I got there the salon was pretty empty.. I walk in, no greet, pretty unwelcoming and the girl who worked there was in the phone and just stared at me & continued doing whatever she was doing... I found the nail polishes and started to pick what I wanted. You pay before and the prices are more than Walnut Creek or anywhere I've been before ... $77 for gel and pedicure... service was okay, nothing spectacular.. a little rushed. I wouldn't come back. Well without the Groupon its $44 for a mani-pedi, def. not worth it for the following reasons: a) had Asian ladies while doing my nails yelling at each other across the room in their language, almost as if they were arguing - def. not realizing b) My mistake, I took a 4:30pm appt (they must close at 5pm) because she had literally finished painting my toes that they were "politely" trying ti get me to leave, the polish laster not even a day... c) The polish's are diluted. So my advice is to bring your own d) They put the wrong color on my toenails...I was closing my eyes to "try" and remove all the noise, but when I opened them, she had taken the wrong nail color as they had not put the color back from previous guest. Extremely friendly and great service! They got me an appointment for an hour after I called and were ready to start when I got there early. I had Kristen who was very friendly and sweet although she was just alright. I got a manicure with her and she did an awesome massage however the polish wasn't amazing, it was a bit uneven and already chipped an hour after. My sister had Wendy who wasn't talkative at all and extremely hard to understand however her polish job on her manicure was great. Overall we had a pretty good experience here. Read Less

This place had me at complimentary mimosas! I live in Utah and the nail salons do not offer these services (strict state laws) so it was nice to get complimentary drinks while they did our nails. The ladies were very friendly and the receptionist was very sweet. He was able to fit us in for the following day. This salon fills up fast so definitely make a reservations, especially if your party is more than two. They have a variety of options and the ladies did our nails very well. Bubbles did appear on my nails but it must be me because it always happen to me regardless of salons. It is far away from downtown (where we stayed) but definitely worth it. Read Less

My sister in-law had a birthday party for her daughter. All the girls got a princess crown and we all got great pedicures and manicures. The spa room is pretty and the prices are good. I had a terriffic experience at Pinkies. My girlfriend got me into getting pedicures. It is so relaxing. The spa chairs are a plus. Pinkies also has options of what lotion you would like to use for your pedicure/manicure massage. They even serve tea. Pinkies is not just for the ladies. I think everyone should go to Pinkies.
