Awesome salon! The salon itself is very open, chic and comfortable. Definitely on the high end side but even a person of modest means can get a nice cut and style there. I love that! Alissa Young did this cut. One is right after I left the salon and the other is slept on and nothing done to it. I needed a cut ASAP because I was feeling so frumpy and couldn't wait for Laura whom I had two cuts from before. You gotta book pretty well in advance because all these stylists are freaking amazing and booked up. Alissa is very sweet and listens to your needs and wants. She worked with my somewhat challenging hair and gave me exactly what I wanted. Such a pleasure getting my hair did by the The lovely and talented Alissa Thank youI have to also give a shout out to Laura T* (don't want to butcher her last name) who I received two hair cuts from. I came in with a mullet the first time and she did her magic to correct it. The results were more a manageable hairstyle that didn't look like 80's home hair cut very nice cuts indeed from Laura. Also very sweet and personable. The front desk lady (I'm so sorry I didn't get your name) I'll be sure to edit and add it because you are so sweet and helpful. Yeah she's awesome and was so so sweet to me. I was having a mom brain moment and she made me feel like it was ok and was just so dang helpful. It's always a pleasure to see her. Thank you so much ladies for a wonderful experience. Would highly highly recommend to my friends and family.

I came to Caroline wash and dry to have my hair maintained professionally. The on street salon is clean and has nice furniture. The product selection is high quality. The store had been open an hour when I walked in and asked for service but the receptionist asked if I wanted to wait 20 minutes for another stylist. There was an open stylist and I asked to begin. I should have waited. Or left. The wash was minimal and not adequate to remove all the product. The comb out was painful and incorrect technique. Brushing wet long hair from front to back does not work. All hair professionals should be taught this regardless of type of hair. Section hair. When I spoke up because of pain the stylist was perturbed. Not cool. She did blow dry in sections and this was good. I gave immediate feedback and asked the owner to contact me and have not received communication. Hence the yelp review. For a high end salon I expect more as that is expected when paying for this expertise and product selection.

I have followed my hairstylist Dani wherever she goes so naturally I followed her to Caroline's Salon . The salon itself is beautiful and spacious ! Everyone there is super friendly !My hair is very hard to handle so I've been very picky about who works with my crazy hair (natural kinky curls ) but Dani always works her magic on my hair - whether it be just a blow dry , color or extensions ! She always leaves my hair not only looking flawless but feeling and looking healthy !! My extensions always look natural ! She blends them perfectly and they take the same form as my natural hair over time ! And Dani is always flexible with my schedule and the time it takes with my hair ! Book her !

Laura has been cutting my hair for almost five years now. In those five years I have moved around from the East Coast to Hawai'i, and never once questioned getting my hair done by anyone else other than Laura. Without fail, I have always left her chair feeling completely confident and encouraged. Her knowledge of hair and styling far surpass her years, and likely reflect her commitment and enthusiasm to her craft. Every appointment she goes above and beyond to make sure we are on the same page with what I want and what I am comfortable with. I have family and friends with a wide variety of hair types and styles that see her as well, and everyone can agree Laura is THE best!

Genevieve will destroy your hair. I when in to have get some highlights and came out with my entire head bleached to a terrible orange color she did not tone at all. But she'd skipped the roots giving my head a terrible uneven line separating the dark from orange. Not to mention she scheduled someone over me so she rinsed me and sent me out the door but not before telling the person at the front to charge me extra for bleaching my whole head which I DID NOT EVEN WHAT. I was charged an additional $60. The hairstylist who fixed it said, "this looks like it was done by a child". To say I was disappointed would be a gross understatement. Do. Not. See. Genevieve.

My husband went to Harold for his wedding day haircut. Knowing that this day was such a big deal, he trusted Harold having never used his services before. It was no disappointment. Harold is excellent and amazing! Super clean, professional, talkative in a good way, spends a ton of time on the haircut and overall just excellent. While his services are not cheap, he spent about 1.5 hours on a haircut and shave so it's understandable why the prices are what they are. We would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Found this gem one day when I was getting my grub on at Chows. I needed a blow dry and decided to give this place a try- loved it. The atmosphere, the blow out. AllWas good. It was time for my roots to get touched up, and a cut. I decided to give this place a shot. I was booked with Hilary. She heard my desires, showed me what she was thinking and went in. Hilary is fantastic. Talk about a woman who is passionate about her craft. This is her. Attention to details from the color, toThe cut to the blow dry. It all had to be perfect, according to her. She does nothing less. The end result -my long locks looking incredible. I enjoyed talking with her, super laid back and fun to chat with. I had a fantastic experience. I found my new girl. Exciting! Must go to this place. It has plenty of metered parking and the atmosphere is great. Love It.

So..this was my very first time and not sure if I will go back..my stylist was super nice ...however, I was not 100% satisfied when I left. She did a great job on my hair BUT she butchered my bangs! I specifically explained the length I wanted (and style)and I provided pics but she did the exact opposite!!! I look like I'm a 10yr old! They will look great in a month when they grow out but for what I paid..I'm very unhappy!! I said they were to short and she was trying to "style and fix" them and it wasn't working! I think she knew I wasn't happy and I didn't want to make a scene (it's only hair) but I'm very displeased. The only reason I am citing a review is because I wouldn't want someone to leave feeling as discouraged as I am..

Feel so lucky to be in the hands of Caroline and her team. A hard day today with my little sister coming in to have her hair cut in preparation for her second chemo treatment on Thursday and the looming loss of her hair. Laura did a wonderful job of trimming it down and handling all the tears and laughter and Caroline masterfully made my sister feel gorgeous with her new 'do' and then styled and tidied up the two wigs that she had at the ready. Caroline and her team turned an emotionally tough moment into one that celebrated my sister's new look and made all of us walk a bit taller. Not enough words. Thank you.

In addition to his technical skills, he is a genuinely nice guy, and always up front and on time. He currently works out of Caroline's salon which is a very nice and well run operation. I highly recommend you get in here and get a real man's haircut!

This is the salon that my boyfriend and I go to. We both we were unhappy with our previous stylists so we decided to look outside the area. After researching, I found this salon, it had awesome reviews, their stylists look great and the price was more than reasonable! The first time my boyfriend and I both got our hair done by Genevieve. She is an awesome stylist! She is so sweet, she holds a great conversation, and her styling is awesome! She really listens to what you want and she takes her time with everything to make sure it is exactly what you want. The entire staff here is very relaxed, everyone is super nice and even offer you drinks when you arrive. Love this salon and so glad it is close to home! Make sure to book appointments ahead of time but sometimes you will get lucky and get a same day appointment depending on the stylist. Definitely come check out this salon if you haven't already! You won't be disappointed and you will love your hair!

I'm going to write a fresh new review, because he ALWAYS blesses me with the fresh new cuts.Harold is the type of barber that won't just GIVE you a haircut. He's the type of barber that gives you a great conversation, an AMAZING haircut, and insight on what you can do with your hair -- and believe me, as someone with SUPER wavy hair, Harold has shown me the light.I very rarely used to look forward to getting my haircut, having despised my hair for so long, but Harold quite simply just knows his stuff. You'll be hard-pressed to find anyone as skilled as this man, and I always feel honored to be sitting in his chair.

New to Caroline's Salon only because my barber Harold moved over here. I'd follow this guy anywhere but this salon, wow! Its really nice in there and its Laffayette around a bunch of places to eat. I feel i'm a little spoiled because i've been getting my haircut by Harold for many years. It's so great to sit in his chair and chat it up without having to tell him what i want, he just does it. He really takes his time with his cuts and you never feel pressured to be squeezed in between customers. The hot shaving cream, straight razor, and aftershave is awesome. If that wasnt enough, you get a nice shoulder massage at the end! If you haven't got a true "Gentlemen's Haircut", from a real old school style barber, you must do it! Just be forewarned, you will never settle for another barber again.

I've just moved to the area and was incredibly nervous to try a new hairdresser and salon but I can't rave enough about what a wonderful salon Caroline's is. Adriana does my hair and I always leave feeling refreshed and beautiful. She is a true artist, she gives honest feedback and is up to date on all the latest trends (even if I'm not!). Everyone around me always leaves looking amazing so I don't think you can go wrong with any of the hair stylist.

My haircut was AWESOME!! She was meticulous and precise and artistic with my long layers. And the blowout made me feel like a movie star!! Highly recommend!

Genevieve will destroy your hair. I when in to have get some highlights and came out with my entire head bleached to a terrible orange color she did not tone at all. But she'd skipped the roots giving my head a terrible uneven line separating the dark from orange. Not to mention she scheduled someone over me so she rinsed me and sent me out the door but not before telling the person at the front to charge me extra for bleaching my whole head which I DID NOT EVEN WHAT. I was charged an additional $60. The hairstylist who fixed it said, "this looks like it was done by a child". To say I was disappointed would be a gross understatement. Do. Not. See. Genevieve.

My husband went to Harold for his wedding day haircut. Knowing that this day was such a big deal, he trusted Harold having never used his services before. It was no disappointment. Harold is excellent and amazing! Super clean, professional, talkative in a good way, spends a ton of time on the haircut and overall just excellent. While his services are not cheap, he spent about 1.5 hours on a haircut and shave so it's understandable why the prices are what they are. We would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Found this gem one day when I was getting my grub on at Chows. I needed a blow dry and decided to give this place a try- loved it. The atmosphere, the blow out. AllWas good. It was time for my roots to get touched up, and a cut. I decided to give this place a shot. I was booked with Hilary. She heard my desires, showed me what she was thinking and went in. Hilary is fantastic. Talk about a woman who is passionate about her craft. This is her. Attention to details from the color, toThe cut to the blow dry. It all had to be perfect, according to her. She does nothing less. The end result -my long locks looking incredible. I enjoyed talking with her, super laid back and fun to chat with. I had a fantastic experience. I found my new girl. Exciting! Must go to this place. It has plenty of metered parking and the atmosphere is great. Love It.

So..this was my very first time and not sure if I will go back..my stylist was super nice ...however, I was not 100% satisfied when I left. She did a great job on my hair BUT she butchered my bangs! I specifically explained the length I wanted (and style)and I provided pics but she did the exact opposite!!! I look like I'm a 10yr old! They will look great in a month when they grow out but for what I paid..I'm very unhappy!! I said they were to short and she was trying to "style and fix" them and it wasn't working! I think she knew I wasn't happy and I didn't want to make a scene (it's only hair) but I'm very displeased. The only reason I am citing a review is because I wouldn't want someone to leave feeling as discouraged as I am..

Feel so lucky to be in the hands of Caroline and her team. A hard day today with my little sister coming in to have her hair cut in preparation for her second chemo treatment on Thursday and the looming loss of her hair. Laura did a wonderful job of trimming it down and handling all the tears and laughter and Caroline masterfully made my sister feel gorgeous with her new 'do' and then styled and tidied up the two wigs that she had at the ready. Caroline and her team turned an emotionally tough moment into one that celebrated my sister's new look and made all of us walk a bit taller. Not enough words. Thank you.

This is the salon that my boyfriend and I go to. We both we were unhappy with our previous stylists so we decided to look outside the area. After researching, I found this salon, it had awesome reviews, their stylists look great and the price was more than reasonable! The first time my boyfriend and I both got our hair done by Genevieve. She is an awesome stylist! She is so sweet, she holds a great conversation, and her styling is awesome! She really listens to what you want and she takes her time with everything to make sure it is exactly what you want. The entire staff here is very relaxed, everyone is super nice and even offer you drinks when you arrive. Love this salon and so glad it is close to home! Make sure to book appointments ahead of time but sometimes you will get lucky and get a same day appointment depending on the stylist. Definitely come check out this salon if you haven't already! You won't be disappointed and you will love your hair!

He's the type of barber that gives you a great conversation, an AMAZING haircut, and insight on what you can do with your hair -- and believe me, as someone with SUPER wavy hair, Harold has shown me the light.I very rarely used to look forward to getting my haircut, having despised my hair for so long, but Harold quite simply just knows his stuff. You'll be hard-pressed to find anyone as skilled as this man, and I always feel honored to be sitting in his chair.

New to Caroline's Salon only because my barber Harold moved over here. I'd follow this guy anywhere but this salon, wow! Its really nice in there and its Laffayette around a bunch of places to eat. I feel i'm a little spoiled because i've been getting my haircut by Harold for many years. It's so great to sit in his chair and chat it up without having to tell him what i want, he just does it. He really takes his time with his cuts and you never feel pressured to be squeezed in between customers. The hot shaving cream, straight razor, and aftershave is awesome. If that wasnt enough, you get a nice shoulder massage at the end! If you haven't got a true "Gentlemen's Haircut", from a real old school style barber, you must do it! Just be forewarned, you will never settle for another barber again.

I've just moved to the area and was incredibly nervous to try a new hairdresser and salon but I can't rave enough about what a wonderful salon Caroline's is. Adriana does my hair and I always leave feeling refreshed and beautiful. She is a true artist, she gives honest feedback and is up to date on all the latest trends (even if I'm not!). Everyone around me always leaves looking amazing so I don't think you can go wrong with any of the hair stylist.
