AMAZING! Why have i not done this sooner! I cant believe that was my first time visiting one of these places. They did my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot. I got a my hair washed and styled. She took her time and when i didnt like the braid she didnt give me a hard time she took it out and fixed it in no time. My stylist was amazing. It turned out wonderful. Sure I can do my own hair and makeup, but every now and then it's nice to let someone take care of it for me so I can relax and it cuts down the time to get ready for special occasions.This was my first experience getting a blow out and it was great. My appointment started on time, I was offered a beverage and after a quick consultation my hair was washed and the blow out began.  I chose the Hollywood blow out. My curls lasted til the next day. Celeste was my stylist. She was really friendly and very good about explaining the process, technique and products being used. She also made it a point to ask if I was okay with the style as she went through the process. The most impressive part was that it only took 45 mins. That would easily take me almost double the time at home. Blo Blow Dry Bar also offers makeup application, manicure and pedicures. It really is a full service salon with the exception of no hair cuts or coloring. If you're looking to pamper yourself or need help getting ready for an occasion check this place out. Read Less

I've been here 3 times so far... I've had 2 really good experiences and 1 that was not great. On all 3 occasions, I asked for beachy curls and provided the same picture each time (I had a different stylist every time). The first 2 visits, my curls stayed in all day and all night... I was even able to salvage them the next day with minimal touch-up. On my last visit, my curls fell out within a couple hours and I was forced to redo them, and they were completely uncurled by the morning...not worth the $40. I loved that I was offered a mimosa on each visit! Great atmosphere and they use fantastic products. I do plan on giving this place another chance because I did have 2 great experiences. Just want to personally thank all the girls that have ever done my hair at this location  ! I've been to plenty of blow dry bars , and this one by far is my favorite . The relaxing atmosphere , great hair products and most importantly really talented stylist ! I have pretty curly hair so getting anyone to tame it and style it  in a way I wouldn't normally be able to do makes me leave there feeling so confident and happy with my hair . Plus the little head massage you get when you get a shampoo , I would go everyday just for that if I could . Today (10.31) I went in for my 4pm appt , got there a bit early and was taken right away . I asked for a faux messy bob and was blown away with the results ! I was able to pull off my costume and just rock a short hair style for the night . The bob lasted all night and the products left it smelling so good and my hair was shiny and soft .  Can't express enough how grateful I am for the constant great customer service . I love this place! All the stylists are great. A professional can blow out my hair 1000 times better than I ever could. I go to blo blow dry bar twice a week. I'm in and out in 45 minutes and I leave with my hair looking so good and I walk out of the salon feeling fantastic! I highly recommend it! Read Less

I went into Blo this past Saturday to get my hair done for a birthday party. My stylist (Didn't catch her name) was great. Super friendly, asked how my hair holds curl and how I wanted my hair styled. I got "beachy curls" and informed her my hair doesn't hold up that well if the curls are messed with too much so, she didn't touch them after curling. She curled my hair and sprayed some hairspray in them and on my way I went. While checking out I was a little turned off that not only did the girl at the front desk not ask if I wanted a receipt, but when I asked her for one she told me basically it's too difficult to go back and print it at that point.Back to my hair, I left the bar at 5:50 p.m. and by 7:00 p.m. the curl in my hair had completely fallen out. It honestly looked like I had rolled out of bed. (See pictures) At this point I wouldn't recommend Blo, I have been to BlowPop in Horton Plaza who did a WONDERFUL job, my hair stayed for a day and a half so I'm not quite sure what went wrong at Blo but I don't think I'll be returning for a $50 blow out that didn't last but an hour and 10 min! Had my hair done at Blo this morning and had a fantastic experience!! Upon arriving I found out there was a mix up with my appointment time. The woman at the counter was so kind, gave me options to accommodate my time restrictions and was super helpful. I was able to quickly be seen and out the door looking cut in time to meet make my photo shoot. I really appreciate the professionalism and customer service here. Being very pregnant and due any day I decided to treat myself to a good blowout. I haven't been able to blow my own hair out for a weeks as I have a lot of hair and it can take a good hour for me to blow it out myself. I have driven by this location several times and decided to try it out.I was very happy with the ease of booking online and I would recommend an appt as they seamed really busy. Carly was my stylist and she did a great job! She was friendly and really listened to exactly what I wanted. A good blowout can last me about 3-4 days with some dry shampoo and this totally did! One of the best parts was the hair wash and scalp massage, I almost fell asleep at the wash bowl it felt so good. I can't wait to go back and do it again. Read Less

Super happy with my results and reasonable prices. I stopped doing blowouts last year when primp and blow asked me if I wanted tools and I said yes. I wasn't told it was extra and it cost $60 I think. I thought there is no way Im doing this for a hair style that lasts 2 days. But this was in my neighborhood and I had an event so I tried it. Been here twice now and am quite satisfied with the way things have went. Easy to find, Tons of parking. Very clean. Good vibes. First time, i got my hair curled by Jill? i think her name was. Did a good job, i explained to her how i have a dry scalp so she used a clarifying shampoo that she said helps get rid of any debris. I also let her know a phobia i have of heat due to bad experiences i've had growing up so she was very understanding and mindful when using the straightener to curl my hair. I also let her know how my hair is so straight that curls don't normally last all day but the curls she did were just right. They sorta fell out toward the end of the day but still gave me that wavy beach hair look!My second time was with Emma and she braided my hair into a crown. I saw her hair and wanted something similar. Since my hair is so long she managed to wrap it around almost a second time. I got many compliments at work for it! she's been braiding since she was 6 and so you can only imagine how good she is at braiding its actually her favorite thing to do and you can tell because she did mine effortlessly ! Anytime i want a braid, i will definitely be going to her ! I also got my make up done the second visit. By shelby? she was also nice.. I don't really know too much about make up and don't get it done often so i was sort of anxious thru out the session and i think she could tell but didn't really know how to address it or help me relax. But we managed to get thru it and she did a really good job. I told her i didn't want to over do it i just wanted things as natural and smooth as possible. Not cakey and mulan like. And she did a great job doing it just the way i would like it, but I let her be the judge of how or what colors that best suited me. I must say though, the second time i was not offered a beverage.
