My friend & I got SNS gel "manicures". Yvonne did my sns gel "manicure" for $36. Manicure is in quotes because Yvonne immediately started applying the powder without soaking my nails nor clipping my cuticles etc. I asked her "isn't this a manicure?" She said a manicure would be $5 extra. Nowhere on the menu did it say tht. & it should NOT be advertised as a manicure. For $36... wow I can understand if I asked for callus removed or paraffin wax -- I know what a manicure is. I've been to Soak multiple times and they always do a good job! I normally don't write reviews but after reading some of the negative ones for Soak Nail Bar  I wanted to contribute to the positive reviews!I've gotten acrylics done there once before, a few gel manicures, and multiple pedicures and I've always been happy with my service! They have lots of colors and designs to choose from and their prices are very reasonable. I go with my mom all the time- she's picky about where she gets a pedicure but she's loves getting her toes done at Soak!One thing I appreciate about Soak is that they will always try to fit you into their schedule, so if you ever call or walk in asking for an appointment and they say no, just know that it must mean they truly are booked solid.Not every nail salon is perfect, but for what it's worth Soak is pretty great! The atmosphere is very nice and cozy and the people working there are very nice. However, I was not satisfied with the gel manicure I received. The lady who helped me seemed to rush through it. However, I didn't notice until the next day that my cuticles were dry and rough and one nail had already chipped. I called and explained and they had me come in to fix it which I thought was really nice. However again, my cuticles are still rough and several nails have already started to chip. I have been to several nail salons and although this is a high end salon in an upscale community, it is by far the worst manicure I've ever gotten. The chairs are also uncomfortable. The seat is not big enough to relax your legs on. I am very unhappy. I paid good money for sub- par service. Read Less

Took my girls n for mani/pedi and one ended up with bruised and cuts on her feet!!! They painted clear instead of the same color as their feet, for their fingers. I can't believe I wasted my money for my kid to be abused! Read Less
