I wish I would have written a review when I first started going to Color me Green which would have been the BEST review. Jackie was a beautiful, caring owner. She always pampered her customers asking if they wanted a cup of tea or a warm neck pillow.  She even did nails at times. Maybe you'll see this post, Jackie and know I think you are great! However, new ownership seems to have taken over a few months ago, and I already see the changes. Color me Green was unique however, now it seems they are slowly going to lose that special touch.  No more pretty white (breakable) tea cups, with organic green tea leafs, no little yellow rubber duckie in my 9 yr. old's manicure bowl, nor apple juice for her, no warm pillow behind the neck, but there are paper cups with tea bags out for display that you can grab, and there is water for the younger ones in a water dispenser. I am disappointed because they have lost that uniqueness and the whole Green branding vibe is being lost. However, the prices are the same, AND if it weren't for AMY I would not continue going there. I love this nail salon!  It's by far the most relaxing environment,  the staff is great,  and the seaweed based gel polish they use is superior to normal gel polish.  It last longer! I also love that I can take my young daughter with me here and not worry about her breathing in strong chemicals in the air.  I've been coming here for a year. Read Less

Color Me Green may be pricier than the shop around the corner, but the environment is peaceful, the staff is super friendly and the work is consistently great quality. Plus I'm always happy to support a business supporting more environmentally friendly consumerism and services. So happy there's a location on the east side :) Read Less

My new go to nail salon! I've been here three times and my experience is always top-notch :) it's super clean and the service is great. I was a little skeptical about their organic gel, thinking it won't last a week, but I was wrong. My recent gel maniure from them lasted 3 1/2 weeks!!! 5 stars for the interior decor and ambiance.3 stars for the quality of the work. I chose the Classic Mani/Pedi and every single nail salon I have been to, this combo includes a massage and foot scrub. This was not done here. The nail polish on my fingers was not evenly applied. Usually, some time is spent on the cuticles on my toes, but this time she barely spent any time cutting them. The first time I went to color me green because of a gift card I was given! Must say, love the Ambiente and certainly the green concept! Personnel is very friendly and does an excellent job. I definitely will go back to be spoiled in a green nail spa. Read Less

I am 9 months pregnant and needed a fresh manicure. I recently moved to Glendale and this was the closest and highest rated non-toxic nail salon. The pricing is more affordable than my normal dtla salons probably because of location. The staff was super nice and the space was calm and clean. Kelly did a great job on my gel mani and Jackie the owner was friendly and made me comfortable with extra pillows and complimentary tea. All in all a great experience! Will be back! Read Less

Let me start by saying this is the best salon with excellent hospitality--warm and genuine. They give fantastic service all around--this review is specific. I've left very positive reviews here before but I've had a recurring disappointment that I have addressed with the business. I need to clarify my position. I went in last Friday and by Mothers Day, my gel nails were fading and chipping. Ordinarily, their gel lasts at least 7-10 days before u see this type of wear--unless one of the less (experienced) technicians does your nails. Which one did. I have a previous experience with this tech (over a year ago I went back in and they graciously had the work refined), while she is a very nice woman & does decent work on the manicure itself, she can never paint my nails--hands or toes--again. I wasn't able to make it back over there this time because my schedule wouldn't allow in what I considered to be a reasonable time frame. Nonetheless, becuz I truly LOVE THEIR SERVICES SO MUCH, I'm going back next week before my anniversary. But not to her. And not before I respond to the salons request for a review. Loved everything about this salon! ❤ I had seen it and wanted to try. I mentioned to a friends daughter in law that I was looking for a place that did not use spa chairs as I can never get comfortable due to my curvature of the spine, restless legs etc. I really was impressed at the clean, quite and professional atmosphere. The clients all looked relaxed and happy😊 The staff were all dressed in black, very uniform and neat and not talking to each other 🗣🗣🗣 The salon did not smell like food!!! The treatment was A+.......all the bells and whistles. A woman remarked that what she just experience was the best ever! Of course I asked and it was an all organic facial Very impressed all around. I love coming to Color Me Green! I have been multiple, multiple times and have been pleased with my experience every single time (& I am a stickler for service).I have piece of mind about getting a quality CLEAN nail service in a completely chemical free environment and a really cute manicure/pedicure...I am hyper sensitive to the majority of products but find what Color Me Green uses is not only comfortable but is still luxurious!One of my favorite parts of any service there is the hot bean bag they put behind your neck. I have fallen asleep multiple times in there comfy chairs with that comfy neck pad...it's so dreamy!!!All the staff are pleasant to talk to and make every effort to make sure you are comfortable at all times. I love this place! It is very relaxing and does not have the chemical smell of other salons. All the employees are very kind and go out of their way to make you feel pampered. My new favorite nail place! Hands down!Ladies, I cannot stress enough how fabulous this nail shop is. All natural and organic materials. You walk in, and you are NOT instantly hit with strong chemical scent... The decor is beautiful and it's super clean in there. They offered me a warm neck pillow, iced green tea, and it was so quiet with beautiful French music playing. No loud talking amongst the workers at all. My manicurist, Amy, was very sweet and made great conversation. Of course, my nails were perfect. I also had waxing done that came out nicely. The prices are a little high but you definitely get what you pay for. In my opinion, it is worth every penny! Read Less
