This was my go to nail salon in Irvine I would take my husband with me all the time and recommend it to my employees. After today's unprofessionalism and worst customer service I don't recommend or will never go again. I had an appt they told me my gal wasn't in when she was and didn't have an appt. then I asked for Another tech told me to wait 10 mins and she will be available I did wait and she began to work on my nails, then the "manager" said she has an appt stopped her half way through to replace her with another rep. I left with half my nails on 1/2 my nails taken offThe clear gel coat on my toes with no color. How could u let a client leave like that when u are in the customer service industry? Drove 30 mins to get here before closing just to get ONE nail fixed cause it chipped one day after. Which isn't a big deal since I been here several times and has no complaints. But if business isStill open and you guys turn away clients as it says walk ins are welcome? I wasn't asking for a full set. It was literally ONE NAIL to fix due to a crackOn my gel a tech did. Reason of being Turn away Was that the worker had a wedding to Go to. Clean, professional, incredibly large gel selection. Donna is my regular manicurist however my nieces wedding was coming up and I needed to get in asap! Donna customizes my nails for my needs. I wanted to be assured if I used another manicurist that I wouldn't have to settle and/or be disappointed.  I spoke with the Nina/Manager who graciously listened to my concerns and got me in that evening. I had the pleasure of meeting a new manicurist, Jennifer. She also listened to my concerns. She was warm, friendly, thorough and professional. Nailtique is a bit of a drive from where I work and live however IT IS MY FOREVER SALON. My two daughters and I enjoyed a mani/pedi date. DO NOT GO HERE. SCAM & THIEVES!!!!I went to this place on May 28th to get my gel nails done + pedicure, and was supposed to pay a $60 charge total for all of it.At the time of payment, they got my credit card for the payment, and then told me the machine was "broken" and the payment hadn't gone through. I asked "are you sure"? And they said yes, and to not worry. Next, they got the other credit card machine, and used my card again - $60. So far so good. I believed in it.1 MONTH LATER, I get charges in my credit card for $120 dollars!!!! Just wondering if that had been a honest mistake, I went back to the place with a photo of my credit card statement showing the double charge on the same day, and showed the lady who's supposed to be the manager of the place. Initially, she seemed nice and told me she would check the charges, but that I would have to come back another day because the receipts weren't kept at the salon. Also, she told me to confirm with my bank and ask them to cancel the double charge, just in case. She gets my credit card number and also my phone number, and tells me she's gonna call back in a few days.I go back home, and call the bank. They confirm the double charge, but tell me that I have to ask the store for the refund. My bank is international and from Brazil, thus, they cannot give me refunds for a purchase made abroad. 1 week later, I go back to the store, and talk with the same lady. Surprisingly, SHE DID NOT CALL BACK, so when I get there I tell her "I had to come back here, because I was told I would receive a phone call about this issue, and nobody called me". She apologizes, and asks me to write down yet again my credit card # and my phone #... And says she needs to speak with her boss about the issue. I told her about my conversation with the bank, and that there is a lot of bureaucracy involved for an international refund. Instead, I told her to just give me the $60 back. She says she needs to speak with her boss, and that she will call me after the July 4th holiday.TODAY, JULY 7TH, nobody has called me from this scam salon, so I decided to call back. Not as surprisingly, the same lady picks up the call and is super rude with me. She says "YOU KNOW WHAT, I don't have double charges here so I'm not doing anything, you call your bank if you want". Then she hangs up on me. YEAH.I call back, and she says she did not hang up on me, but won't do anything regardless. I can even call the police if I wish. If not, she says, "you just lost your money and I can't do anything about it".So not only I had the worst treatment, this lady is also a thief and thinks I'm an idiot. I have $120 in charges for gel nails, and this situation is just simply ABSURD. If you want to keep your customers, assume your mistakes and make them RIGHT. Stop being MONEY HUNGRY and THIEVES, because you saw the charges on my credit card statement, it is the THIRD week that I'm going back there to solve this, and the lady basically tells me to F*** off. DO NOT GO HERE. And if you insist in doing so, DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD.Ps: had two other friends who used to come here too. One of them said she wouldn't be coming back for unsanitary reasons (equipment isn't sterilized at ALL and she got an infection), and the other said that she's had the worst treatment from the lady who did her nails. This is one of my favorite nail salons in OC. Their services are very consistent, and I have never been unhappy with the manicure or pedicure I have received. Also, their gel manicures last longer than the ones I get anywhere else (up to 3 weeks) and have never cracked or chipped on me! I really appreciate that the team here works very efficiently and gets me in and out quickly. The service is also pretty consistent. The front desk team isn't the most welcoming, but the technicians are typically pretty polite when compared to other salons. The only negative here is that the salon is pretty outdated, especially when compared to other salons in the area. They definitely need to update the appearance, but I imagine that may be how they are able to keep their pricing low. Read Less

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My nail tech was the worst I've ever encountered. She didn't clean underneath my nails, used an electric file to sand down my cuticles (without using any cuticle oil or something to soften them up), and filed my nails down to the point of bleeding. The gel color I chose seemed like a pink glitter shade, but after two coats, it looked like a glitter top coat and you could still completely see through to my natural nail (and the dirt ...she left underneath them). When I brought this up, she ignored me and continued to put on the top coat. At the very end of the service, in what has to be the weirdest thing that has happened to me during a manicure, she rubbed cuticle oil all over my hands and said "Done!". Great job by Anna- From 12/9 until now, 1/25 my nails lasted and stayed smooth and I do dishes by hand. Definitely ask for Anna. She was gently especially with that cylinder nail file which I do not like as my name are thin anyway. So I did not feel a burn at all. First picture is the 12/9 and 2nd is 1/25 - my nails actually grew a lot faster than normal as they put a special nail fortifier before starting. First time here and I had Joanne. She's very attentive to detail, explained the process, and made sure I was 110% happy with the color and shape. She's fantastic and even the owner came up to me to make sure I liked the outcome. They're normally busy Fridays and Saturdays so if you can, try to get in during the week.
