ABSOLUTELY LOVE this clean & cute little nail salon! I have been looking for a nail salon to regular in my area and I think I've found the one! My nail lady was the absolute cutest and so sweet. My nails look great (classic French done right) and everyone there was offering me services such as water or tea, etc. The entire place is sparkling clean and pleasantly luxurious. (1) I walked out with cotton pads between my tows to stop bleeding, and with a bit too much unnecessary finger pain. (2) Didn't get color/polish due to the bloody cuts but got charged for nail polish anyway. (3) No apologies offerred for the bloody job, the manager was so confrontational though I was calm & smiley the entire time. I only asked if she could wave the fee for nail polish and my question gave her enough reasons to be rude. I didnt even complain about how short they cut mu nails despite telling them not to. Oh well. Q: Why would one treats a party of 5 clients this poorly? A: They have too many clients that they don't care. I asked the chatty technician if she likes her job. So happy with how my nails turned out. I showed the technician how I wanted my nails and she copied them exactly the same, down to each stone! From the moment you walk in, it's obvious you get the service you're paying for. It's clean, spacious, and welcoming. They have a great selection of manicure, gel manicure, and even Japanese gel pot colors. A lot of salons don't offer Japanese gel because it's expensive so I was really excited about that. The price may seem somewhat overwhelming but it's worth every penny. The technicians are very accommodating and willing to work with you to get the finished look you desire. Love the way they make me feel here! Everyone is so nice and accommodating. As soon as my friend and I walked in, we were happily greeted by the staff and was seated immediately for our appointment. My technician took her time to make sure I was satisfied with the shape of my acrylics and made sure the polish was on every crevice of my nails(you'll be surprised at how many shops do a sloppy job and forget to put polish on the sides of your nails...)not to mention they also have an impressive selection of colors and jewels you can choose for your nails. I looked over at my friend and was really tempted to bling out all my nails with fat gems but sadly, I had to hold back because my sad place of work does not allow such beautiful nails....anyways In conclusion, I had a wonderful experience and  I am very happy with the way my nails turned out and will definitely be back again for another lovely date here at images! I absolutely love it here! I moved to the area from south county, and from the second I walked in the door I knew I liked it. It is a really cool atmosphere and they even offer you champagne while you get your nails done. I have been there several times, and they always do a fantastic job. My current gel manicure is on week four, and they still look great (besides my grown out nail beds). They work quickly if you want them to, but they don't rush you if you did want to take your time. I recommend making an appointment because they do get busy, but they always get started right at my appointment time. Been to many salons in my life and even other locations of Images and I have to say, this is by far the best nail salon I have been to. Not just because of the beautiful interior, not because they have a huge collection of nail polishes and gel polishes, not because of the complimentary champagne but because of the nail techs. I believe that a nail salon business can't survive by it's look because this is a 'service' business and the nail techs are the one that really run the show. I appreciate all the hard work my mani girl put to make sure my cuticles are clean and took her time to apply the polish. Every step of the way, she kept asking me if I was satisfied and I like that. $95 dollars later and my nails look terrible!First off....I asked for a pedicure and a manicure also wrote it down on the clipboard and only received a pedicure.The next thing I asked is if they do dipping powder (sns) at that location..... the receptionist had to ask one of the nail techs if they do dipping powder. That should've been my first indication to turn right out of that door!While doing the pedicure there were a few hiccups but Lynn was so kind she addressed and fixed the mistakes immediately!The guy that was doing my nails had the worst attitude. It was him who touched my nails and said they were dry and I was like great well let me get on my way. But no I touched them to double check and they smudge. This is where I seen the attitude. He kept huffing is breath and rolling his eyes as if it was my fault! Now he tries to fix the smudge and 20 mins later I look and they still look smudged like how is this even possible I have gotten this done so many times this can't be right! I had to eventually ask for someone else to come over and do them. Like I told the receptionist he didn't know what he was doing, now that I am home and having a closer look apparently the other person I asked for clearly didn't know what she was doing either. Terrible service still paid full price for my nails mind you I still have the powder from getting my nails done all on fingers and my arm.Is this supposed to be good customer service ? Read Less

From the moment you walk in you totally feel like you are in a exotic resort! I had made an appointment, so I was seated immediately after I checked in. I was offered mimosas, water, and tea while I got treated. This is totally new to me because a lot of nail salons do not offer that. I wanted these specific ombré nails and my technician gave me the exact style I wanted! She was super patient and tried to match the colors as precisely as possible. The salon chair had all these nice massage features, so you were basically getting an all in one treatment! HahaOverall, the price point, service, the technicians are all really great! Super happy that there's more locations opening up for Images! I've come multiple times and have not once been disappointed with the end results! I've just been getting acrylics fills here and am impressed that my nails have not once chipped or cracked on me! Omg my nails look so amazing!! Lucy did an amazingly detailed job, checking if I was satisfied with everything along every step of the way. She spent an excruciating 1 hour and a half perfecting my nails! Every here is extremely friendly and the service is fantastic. Drinks are provided for your time at the salon. I am a regular client because they keep a log of my services and points each time I come in which is great because I get sent special promotions for being a VIP member! I visited a different location of theirs today because it was closer to where I was. Love that they have more than one location. The decor is beautiful! A bit different than the other location I've been to. Today I had a great pamper day with the Luxury Mani Pedi and hologram gel nails! First time I tried it and I love it! I am usually a simple, soft pink kind of girl but thought I'd be a bit more fun this time. They get pretty busy so I would call in for an appointment. I feel bad giving this beautiful location a 2 but it just just okay.  I will break it down for why so low.1.  Nail color selection:  For a luxury nail salon, I was so surprised that they didn't have Matte or organic lacquer options.  All glossy OPI, which is fine but for what they charge, I would really prefer a zoya.2. Pedicure Chair Orientation:  They have all the chairs facing the door, probably because they can squeeze more chairs in.  This isn't a problem if you're solo but if you go with a girlfriend or even your significant other (as that is a promo they have), one of you is going to have a kink in your neck trying to talk to your partner.  I went with my friend and my neck was sore looking around my chair to the right the whole time.3. The fastest pedicure of my life.  My guy (tommy) was clearly sick and sneezing all over the place.  He rushed my pedicure and I was done in 30.  He started after my friend and finished before her.  At one point he actually asked my friend (who is Asian) what I wanted but didn't ask me. I thought this was kind of rude and weird.  And then he didn't even help put my sandals back on.  My friend had hers.  The massage was weak and the "hot stone" massage was kind of luke warm to cold and short.  I feel like he could have done better flattening the ridges on my toe nails also.  The paint job was fine.  4.  They are super clean and do use footbath liners. So nice! 5. The manager /receptionist was nice and seemed like she wanted to make it better but I honestly just didn't want to make a scene.  I appreciated the effort. It truly was just okay but mostly disappointing.  I am a full time mom and dont get a lot of me time, so this felt like a waste and a bit of a let down. I have been here a few times and been satisfied overall. Bit of caution, there are several chairs that are under AC vents and it is cold and annoying having the wind blowing on you for an hour or so. Also, the estheticians need better training on the men's packages, they do not seem to grasp that a #2 comes with all of #1 plus all of #2. I have been shorted my services a couple times, and then like receive the paraffin treatment after everything else is done, only because I asked for it when paying $85 I expect to receive all of the services. This business replaced an older salon called Essence and while the old business was clean and nice, their prices were a little high. This place makes you feel like royalty. Everything is clean, relaxing music, water fountains, and pure attention to your nails and skin. I only get gel nails because I work with cardboard boxes all day and my nails break super easily, their prices are more than fair. My favorite part is that their UV light doesn't burn your skin or make your nails feel like the burning of a thousand suns while it dries the polish. Read Less

My husband is a fan of pedicures (not a typo) and usually asks if I want to join him on one.  He found Images right before our wedding and couldn't stop raving about it.  So now that the big day is over, I was in dire need of my tootsies getting some love for summer so we headed over to Images.Parking in Woodbury tests my patience, but he was driving so I was stress free! We parked along the side and carefully crossed over to Images. Inside were the most nail chairs I had ever seen with a really cool ceiling (made of wood).  Given how busy it was, I was sure we'd have a wait, but no they could take us both immediately and next to each other! I picked out my color and away I went. We both chose the standard pedicure (the lowest of the three) I had Lola and he had Liz. Liz asked us what we wanted to drink and we received delicious champagne.I sat in the chair, but was not given any information about the massage function of the chair. The water was really scorching hot and never cooled appropriately.  Lola tried to get it colder but gave up after a while.  She did ask how I wanted them trimmed and verified my color.  However, she kept getting up during the pedicure and disappeared for long periods of time.  That was not great in my opinion. She tried to upsell me on the callous remover which I declined.The pedicure looks great. I had a nice lotion and foot/leg massage.  But I didn't get a chance to ask for nail art which I wanted.Our pedis were $30 each.  I would come back but choose Liz instead. Read Less

I don't go here for the price or the quick last minute service. I go here to treat myself to a nice, upscale, relaxing experience. Images delivers on all of that. The service is always exemplary and I always leave happy. There is a great attention to detail, from the glass of champagne to the clean tools to the ability to get any Pinterest nail design my heart desires. This review is LONG overdue. This review is for BEE!! Bee, thank you for being the ONLY technician that made my nails super durable and actually last more than 2 weeks. As a matter of fact, all 10 acrylic nails are still on and sturdy. I have been struggling to find a technician where the nails stay on longer than a week! Also, bee was extremely nice, talkative, and didn't make the nail session super awkward like most technicians do. Another thing I really appreciated was the fact that he constantly asked questions like "do you want it to be filed more?" "Do you want another coat of color or top coat?" "Do you want me to shape it more?" I LOVE LOVE WHEN TECHNICIANS ASK ME AS THEY GO instead of doing the whole thing and asking me if I like the nails before it can be fixed. He always asked me so he can change it before it's too late. I also noticed a lot of technicians in Irvine get MAD when you ask them to fix something. Bee never got mad when I pointed out a small flaw and was more than happy to fix it and make sure I get what I paid for. I'm definitely coming back here and recommending it to all my girlfriends. Very rude male receptionist! My daughter and I walked in at 6:05 the business hours state that they close at 7:00 PM. The rude male receptionist said we don't have room. I said we will wait. He said can you come back? I asked why when were already here and the business doesn't close until 7:00 he rolled his eyes. Lol! I said, never mind. This review is about price not services rendered. $30 for a child mani/pedi?!?!? Are you kidding me? It's a 10.5in foot and nails the size of peas. Nothing to scrub or cut cuticles. WHAT!?!?!?!? My adult pedicure cost $30. My 4 yr cost $30. I hope this establishment reads this review and addresses this craziness. Will never take my daughter here unfortunately.
