Consistency is what keeps customers. I usually have a fairly good experience, but I was unhappy with the way my nails turned out.I didn't realize until that night, but for some reason, my gel manicure was very sticky and everything got stuck on it. I thought it was weird and I asked my friend who went with me that day. Hers were fine. My nails were also filed so that the gel was scratched off and didn't notice because of the cuticle oil. This is my second visit to Images and I am so happy with my revision! Thank you to Moe for reaching out to me to offer a follow up, because the strips on my first gel mani were starting to fall off because they weren't cut short enough, causing them to lift off. There was no charge on the gel mani revision, which was pretty amazing already because it's a lot of work to take 3rd day gel off and put it back on. To revise my 2 marble and 2 glitter nails, I had the pleasure of being booked with Ivy and I am totally returning back to her! (She has an Instagram of all her work!) I love painting / drawing myself, and have such an appreciation for her natural artistic talent and meticulous care to getting every last detail in the marble work just right. Seeing that she works from no reference, I truly admire her gift for freehand and she's an amazingly talented asset to the Images business. I'll surely be booking my next particularly special set with Ivy, and will be returning to Images in the future for their fantastic customer service. Just like the name implies, this nail salon looks luxurious af inside, LOL the decor is really nice and it definitely looks really clean. After having my fair share of bad experiences with nail salons in the Irvine area, I wanted to check this place out as I had heard good things from friends. I got an acrylic set of nude nails ($30) and I thought the lady did a pretty good job. It was SLIGHTLY rushed but I understand because there were people waiting after me as well. Love this place! I called yesterday to make an appointment and I was able to get one at he time I needed. I arrived on time and the technicians were ready. I had such a great experience at this location! The parking is great because it is a big lot. The staff is super nice and welcoming! Ivy did such a great job on my nails. She's super detailed and will try to do the design you want! And it will turn out nice to! They have a wide variety of gel polishes and the manicurists could create the designs you want! I especially love their hand massage with the lotion at the end! It's so relaxing and makes your hands super soft. I will definitely be coming back! Read Less

This place is $15 more  for gel nails and pedi .I asked why so pricey and she said because we offer alcohol like wine and champagne .My nails were done nicely but if I can help it, I would prefer to go the other nail place . $15 difference is a lot of money especially for someone who doesn't drink alcohol . There's nothing especial about the service either . Two disco balls hanging and then what ? Other nail place on a Sunday is packed so I didn't  have a  choice but to go there . I got there , there were only 2 customers including me . So for me , I won't go back thereUpdate : I didn't know that by hereby putting my review and my opinion would follow a series of messages from the owner . I made an appointment with Nancy after reading all the great Yelp reviews about her. She is very sweet and very meticulous when she does your nails (and I am very picky!) She shapes your nails well and, though I usually don't really care about the massages, gave a great massage! Looking forward to coming back and seeing her again! Read Less

I love this place.  Yes they are a bit pricier than most, but well worth it in my opinion.  I've been coming to this location for awhile now.  I'd prefer to pay more and not be disappointed in the results.  They are very attentive.  The place is very cleaned and modern.  They use sanitized/packaged instruments and their chairs work!  Alex does my full sets/fills.  I've never been disappointed with the quality of his work.  He's chosen my colors when I couldn't make up my mind and provided his opinion on shapes/length.I recently discovered Helen.  She does my pedicures.  She's awesome.  Super sweet and attentive. What a bittersweet review to write... I had been a loyal customer to this location for a year; every two weeks like clock work, I was in the chair for a gel mani and pedi. The manager that worked the front desk was always wonderful to me, especially on the days I would bring my four year old little boy in to enjoy a little pedi himself. The girls were equally amazing every time.All this changed this past month as a new owner took over. The woman working the front desk (assuming the new manager) was hardly friendly upon arrival. The nail experience became less than amazing. For the first time in a year, I had to have my toes and hands redone after just 24 hours. And even then, I felt like a nuisance asking for a fix after I was charged a higher cost for a lesser quality job. The previous level of customer service and pride in work was what kept me coming back so often to this location. I know I'm just one customer, but they have lost my business for good due to the way the manager has handled situations with myself and other complaining customers. I really wanted to like this place with the modern decor, And the Champage. However I am so unhappy with my nails, especially after I told him exactly what I wanted . I wanted a full set , I want it to look natural , showed Gina picture . Instead he made them to short so he has to soak off one hand and do it again., then it was too thick and boxy and I asked him to make them thinner and less fake looking. He has to do it several times and still wasn't right. Then I asked him to fix several nails because they weren't even ! After an hour I gave up since I had to leave so I said just do a French manicure, can't mess that up right? so I left with my nails . Worst service I have ever experienced. Charged me a $150 for eyelash extensions that were supposed to last 10-15 days.. they all fell off within 3 days and I called the salon and they told me they wouldn't refund me but come back and let us waste 2 more hours of your life for 3 day extensions. Called 2 days before the date I wanted my nails done and I was really happy they had space. I made an appointment for me and my friend. We both got gel manicures and I was very impressed with my nail design! I absolutely LOVE IT!I didn't really know what I wanted, I just knew I wanted something white and gold. I ended up with white gel with gold studs and I really wanted that whole 'shattered glass' nail art. Luckily, PHOEBE was able to help me! She knew exactly what I wanted and she is such a sweetheart! Took my two daughters and mother in law for pedicures on a special girls day out, and we were treated so well! They made my 4 year old feel so special and grown up.
