Ive been going to this place for several months and I am baffled how each visit varies so much in quality. There is a gentleman who runs the front counter sometimes who is awesome. The lady that runs it is a hit or miss depending on her mood. Both of the men that do nails as well as a couple of the women are awesome. All of the rest are terrible and will give you an attitude if you give critique on how you want your nails done. Today was my final straw with them. I called to say that I wanted to come in to see Tony to get the gel taken off my fingers (simply because I needed one less monthly expense to save some money, and Tony is awesome). I gave her a heads up that I was in the middle of a doctor's appointment and would be there within about 45 minutes. Well, there was a complication with the doc and my appointment went long, so I called her about 15 min before my nail appointment to let them know I wouldn't make it. She gave me an attitude saying that he hasn't been able to be scheduled with anybody because I requested him. This is literally about 20 minutes after my first call. I'd get if I made the appointment the day before and called at or after my appointment time, but that wasn't the case here. The attitude I received was completely unprofessional. The inconsistency of good service is annoying and will cause me to never go there again. If you decide that you still want to go, I do suggest to see Tony. Images never fails to disappoint me every time I go! I live almost an hour away but always go back to Images as my goto salon. I've tried some around my area but nothing tops them so I'm always more than willing to make the drive out to OC. I've been seeing the mermaid nail trend everywhere lately and wanted to see if they were able to recreate it. I was more than happy with the final outcome!! I came for a dipped gel manicure and regular pedicure.  I had a bunch of questions and the host was super knowledgeable and helpful.  He really solved the problem I was having with with which kind of manicure to go with. I am extremely happy with my manicure.  The pedicure is pretty basic as other places.  My nail technician did a great job.  He took his time and was meticulous.  I've been to every Image in Irvine and this location is my favorite. Been going here for almost a year since it's close to my home. So when I went in on my birthday the manicurist asked if I was off from work and I mentioned it was my birthday! So she said to tell them upon check out to receive a discount! So I did and he explained I had to be a VIP member . I understand stand now that you have to sign up for emails etc but still I believe in good customer service he should have obliged. So .... I'll be heading over to Cosmos by my work from her on out. Finally, after over 2 years of living in Irvine I've found my nail spot! I came here with my aunt for a nice mani-pedi for my birthday and we were both totally astounded by the service and the overall feel of the place. Every seat was taken, yet it wasn't so noisy that we couldn't relax or have a conversation. We each got a complimentary glass of wine and were feeling like royalty while we got an amazing foot massage. The callus removal left my feet feeling baby-soft. I've been a regular loyal customer at this salon since its opening. I spend over $2,000 a year at this salon.I came in at 9:00am appt on 5/11 that was scheduled for me on 5/10 with Michelle. When she opened the door she didn't even great me and walked away ignoring my presence. I told her I had an appt with her and I'm on tight schedule since I have to be at the airport at 11:00am. She said rudely "she is not a good technician" for me and someone else will do it (Michelle did my gel manicure occasionally and on several occasions my gel would start to peel off the next or 2nd day. So I had to return to to fix it in the past). So I'm very stressed out about the timing as I can't be late and I asked that someone please start taking gel off ASAP (btw, gel was done by them 2 weeks ago). I'm ignored and told I have to wait for the manager who is coming. 25 min later the front desk lady/"manager" comes in and in very rude manner tells me none of her technicians can do manicure for me! I'm shocked... She starts humiliating me in front of other customers. I asked her why they made me come in and wait for 30 min especially knowing I'm late to the airport? And I am their regular customer! The front desk lady /"manager" in extremely rude demanding tone asked me to leave without any explanation and refused to give/spell her name for me. Her name was Amy. This salon ruined my day as I had no time to go to another nail salon and my Mother's day trip!Their customer service is horrible! They are extremely rude, never apologetic if customer returns with cheeped off nails for a quick fix the next day and blame us for it. I'm sorry but my gel manicure I pay over $40 for should last longer than 2 days, right? And it does lasts up to 2 weeks with no cheeping off done by another salon now!Please don't go this place. I got an ombré chrome design with sailor moon fourth fingers. Vannie paid such close attention to detail and made sure I was happy every step of the way! She was so amazing at her job. She specially brings in her own nail accessories to better suit her clients. The overall ambiance of this spot is very classy and high class. They offer you drinks as you sit and make sure you're as comfortable as possible. This is definitely the spot to go if you're looking for 10/10 service and perfect nails!! Can we say sanitary people. This place is super clean, not only did she use clean brand new tools she opened them right in front of me. I received a nice hand and arm massage afterwards. I took my newborn and they were totally ok with that. I was offered refreshments and seen right away for my appointment which I was able to book online, so convenient. I didn't feel rushed nor felt like things were taking too long. About 45min from start to finish which is perfect for a busy mother of four. Very friendly staff that consist of men and women.
