Got an appointment for a set of nails for 11 am. I got walked in and told the man in the front that I have an appointment for my name and he said ok take a seat. 20 min later the lady named lee calls me over and asked if I picked out a color.  I said no I wasn't sure where they were because I had never been there. And then she was annoyed because I didn't pick. She tells me it's another 2$ extra to shape the nail in an almond shape and I said ok. I wanted her to clean up my dead skin around my nails and she said sorry I don't think I'll have time. My client is coming in and I won't have time. I'm kind of thinking to myself well that's rude because you have a customer right in front of you. She was rushing and I never got my fingers cleaned up properly. Very disappointed. I came from San Jose to get my nails done and my sister in law recommended this place. I got there at 11:30, they said it was going to take a while and I accepted, but once I was sit down she took her time to attend another customer for waxing. Well, while waiting there was another customer complaining about their service and the owner even called the cops because she didn't wanted to pay, and then I knew why. First, I was sitting down and another lady came after. The lady who suppose to do my nails wanted to serve her, but I was first. When I was sitting down she was asking everyone who can take care of me because she wanted to serve the other lady, and of course for money! Ok, fine! The lady who was doing my nails just just stood up and gave someone else service on the wax area, again ok fine! Through out the process she hurt me, and burned me. Finally, she put a different color, not the one I asked For, plus she messed up in a nail and let one nail super shinier and the other nine dull!Customer service bad! Do you think because I'm not in good clothes I will not tip you right? It is funny that just because that I was going to tip the other lady with the same amount my nails cost. I don't like to be rude with people, and I didn't argue or made a big deal about not paying like the other customer, but it was also funny that the same lady who did my nails told me that she does the same thing when she is not happy with the service. I have used Fancy Nails salon for nails, pedicures and waxings for over 10 years. Everything that has been done for me has been excellent. Helen the owner is wonderful and her staff are great. They are friendly, happy, clean and not expensive. They have a lot of colors to choose from in the regular polish or the gel. They are also artists and have done excellent artwork on my nails when asked. Making an appointment is recommended but they also handle walk ins but sometimes there's a short waiting period.  I've been in a rush and they can do fingers and toes at the same time. Read Less

After visiting fancy nails, both Mabel and Jimmy helped me and were so great! And the quality is absolutely amazing. My first time getting matte nails, and I love them. They have so many color choices here too. Not only that, but Mabel and I had a great talk and conversation which really helped me enjoy my time. Went in to do a ombré manicure , brought my own polish and said they could not do it because my nails where to small.... I've had my nails done ombré before , not happy with my nails . Didn't do what I asked at all and charged me 5 more dollors to put half hurler nail polish on my toes that I've wanted done with my own glitter I brought . Read Less

I have been getting my nails done at Fancy Nails since August of this year. I had gone to other salons but wasn't happy with the results or quality of work while having my nails done. I throughly enjoy my time while Mabel is doing my nails and have loved the way they look when she has finished. Inexpensive. I've been here a few times. They have a good selection of polish and they do a good job. Basic pedicure is $21. Paraffin wrap pedicure is $27. Shellac pedicure is $35. Hot stone pedicure is $33. Tips can not be added on a credit card so bring cash! Overall I give them a 3.5 stars. It's not super fancy but a great place for a quick pedicure. Read Less

I was really nervous going in because of past experiences at other nail salons. Helen did a good job with my pedicure. She listened to what I wanted and how I wanted them cut. Very gentle and a nice massage. Jimmy put on my nails which was very nice. He did catch me once on the skin with the file but it wasn't too bad. Then I was passed on to Mabel because he had some scheduled appt. I am kind of glad he did because Mabel was AMAZING. Everything I would want from someone to do my nails. She took her time to listen to what I wanted. Fixed a nail I felt needed more shaping. I had a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like. She told me upfront that she couldn't do it exactly but she could do it close. I appreciate that a lot because I wouldn't want someone to say yes and it come out differently. First time coming here and I was extremely disappointed. I had an engagement photo shoot the same day and needed to get my nails done for the ring photos. I got the gel manicure. I selected a color and simple heart design for my ring finger.For starters, the lady who did my nail kept hurting me BADLY. She kept burning my fingers multiple times and made one finger bleed from the nail filer. She kept telling her she was hurting me and she was very unapologetic about it.Then, she kept messing up on my ring finger design. Not once, not twice, but three times she had to completely start over. Every time I pointed out how it wasn't even close to how I wanted it, she blamed me and said that I "wasn't paying attention". She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She couldn't understand a word I said on what I wanted. Even my friend tried explaining it to her and she still didn't understand.After two hours, my nails were finally done. After I left, though, I realized how horrible of a job she had done. Every single nail was a different length, different shape, was either crooked, or the color was messed up. Not one nail looked decent. What was worse, my ring finger design, which was just a simple heart, was lopsided and uneven. I had to have my engagement photos taken with that mess.I went back a few days later to get them redone by someone different, and they didn't charge me. Only good side to my experience. They couldn't find the color to match what I originally had on so they did a completely different color. I payed for a gel manicure and just got my nails filed(unevenly I might add) and polished. When I asked the lady at the front desk what a manicure was supposed to come with she said cut cuticles, Polish and a massage, I told her she just filed and polished my nails very sloppy.. As soon as I walked I should have went with my first instinct and left.  They had no ventilation on and the doors closed until someone mentioned it was hot inside as soon as they walked in a few minutes after me.  I got the French manicure it look horrible you could see nail polish in some area and not others and see brush strokes the edges of my nails were also super sharp.  I am really disappointed because the lady that helped was super nice but I can almost guarantee I will not return.
