This is by far the worst place you can go to cut your hair. I would give them a negative star. Came here along with my mom for haircut and both of us had the worst haircut ever. Even after showing the lady pictures of haircut we wanted and explaining her in the beginning.. she still managed to get it wrong. I don't know how they do nails because I haven't done it here. This is near my home, so I wanted to give it a try.  I called today on a Wednesday morning about 11am and they were available to do a pedicure. It was a very nice, relaxing experience. They have the massage chairs and Julie gave a nice foot and calf massage. $20 plus $6 since I wanted some art work/flowers. Read Less

Staff is really nice, but quality of work is pretty bad. I asked for white nails, but they had an old bottle and it didn't work really well so had her remove it and put on a nude color instead. Nails still not painted well, and my nails are not filed properly. I came here because its so close to my house, but I would rather drive a little further and get my money's worth. Read Less

This is my 4th time here. I live close by this place but rather go to sandys nail in newark. One think I hate is I call and make an appointment before coming here. Everytime I come here, one lady starts doing my manicure and as soon as another customer walks in, I'm being tossed to another lady to finish the job. It's  very irritating and unpleasant. This is a quaint little salon that has a very diverse clientele.  Usually you can walk in and they take you within 15 minutes...like most salons. But the last time I visited I had an appointment for 1pm, and was about to leave at 2 when they finally started on me.  They put me in the water to soak, so as to distract me from how long I had been waiting I'm sure...didn't work because the water was cold.  When I was there another customer also was seconds from walking out (she had waited 40 minutes after they told her when to come back)...that would have been 2 in 15 minutes.  My advice...learn how to better judge your time and tell customers the truth about the wait. I'd much rather you tell me it'll be 2 hours and when i return i don't have to wait vs. telling me it'll be 20 minutes which turns into 60 minutes because you think I won't return. The work they do is good...but not sure it's worth a 60 minute wait! If you have time to kill then this is the shop for you...with or without an appointment. Read Less

Walked in around 11:30am on a Friday and waited about 15 min. Got a pedicure; I think they did a very good job. Excellent prices ($20 for standard pedi w/calf massage) for the bay area. I was a little surprised that I was told it was $4 extra to do a callous scrub during the pedi, however the woman working on me did a much more thorough job of it than at any other nail salon I've been to where it's included in the pricing. Walked in without an appointment and was told 20 minutes. an hour later I was seen. The wait doesn't bother me, as I was a walk in. But just felt like a number. Luckily, all I needed was a manicure with gel polish. No acrylics, or french manicure or anything crazy. The gals were super sweet however and that was refreshing. My nail tech was a sweetheart and took good care of me. I do feel like one more coat would have been better for my glitter and color I chose, but it was later in the day and they closed at 6pm. Salon was also dirty and they don't sweep after each haircut, which I have never seen before. Usually after each haircut, a salon will at least sweep it up. That was interesting. On very picky about my eyebrows and haven't had anyone touch them in years. But I got tired of waxing my own eyebrows so I decided to give this place a try since I live up the street.
