I went to this shop twice the first time I went it was great. I got my nails done and my eye brows. I like the way my brows looked. I loved my nails and the color but I did ask the lady to clean the nails from the back because they had a lot of glue/ gel. When I went to paid it took them awhile to ring me up and to paid with card it was not connecting so I went next door to get cash. So I went back 2 weeks ago once again to get my nails and pedi done for the first time (pedi). I felt it was very rush because people were coming to get their nails done. The gel for my nails started to chip off few days later and peeling off. When in other shops it lasts me almost 1 month. For my pedi she said it was dry so I trusted her. So I left and one hour later the nail polish was coming off!!! Also I wanted her to remove the hair from the big toes and she got mad and she rush it and cut me. I did not have time to go back but went the next day and she was like you wore shoes to soon! MM.. No I weared sandals . Oh also when  I was paying she was like your card does not work ... and are you sure you  have money.. YES!!! I just got paid!! I told her it's your machine that is broken! And she said oh no someone else just paid and once again I went next door to get cash out!. I am not going back and I would not recommend this place to anyone! Read Less

Don't be fooled by their 3 1/2 star rating, I'd give them none if I could. My boyfriend and I came in for a full set and pedicure. The woman that did my nails judged me the entire time for wanting them short and would not take them down to the length I wanted. She quickly filed them and I had to ask her multiple times to fix them, it was the absolute worst job I've ever seen. They were different lengths and all crooked. The acrylic was put on super thick and uneven. Not only was I unhappy with my nails, but she left me twice to wax another woman's eyebrows and then to start her manicure in the middle of mine. My boyfriends pedicure was the worst he's ever gotten, the massage chair was broken, the water was cold, and she spent about 5 minutes on him before leaving mid way through to let him air dry and never came back. Great pedicure experience for the both of us. Massage chairs are really nice, and so are the ladies who do the work. It is helpful to have appointments here but you can walk in and get taken on schedule availability if they are not busy or an appointment was missed and they have a spot to take you in right away. Michelle is always personable. Knows you by name. The pricing is very affordable. She treats everyone like family. Her employee is  also very efficient. My husband and I have gone multiple times, and she is by far the best nail salon in the bay. Read Less

RUDE!!!!!!!!! Cannot say worse things about this place. It was my first and LAST time here! I received a pedicure from the actual OWNER and after removing dead skin and cuticles she placed the tool and wiped the dead skin on my pants.... As if to say "you're gross".... Well you my friend are the one that picked this profession and I cannot get over the lack of respect/customer service. If I could report this place for uncleanliness, I would. This is the only salon I'll ever go to get my nails done. Michelle has been my manicurist for over 10 years! She's the sweetest lady ever. Not only is her work of grand quality, she has a nice selection of colors to pick from. From doing nails to waxing, she is extremely fast. I can't tell you how amazed I am to find someone that works this quick while still doing an excellent job.A little advice from me is to just ignore these nasty posts on here. This was my second time here; first time was Ok, but not great.  Went back to give them a second chance.  Not only was there no attention to detail paid; I had to ask several times for her (Michelle) to fix things, such as the fact that there were still some whites of my nails showing; she made an attempt to fix, and instead of it looking better, there were lines on the top of my nail, totally not blended in.  The clientele that were in there were loud and obnoxious (I realize this wasn't there fault, but it just added to my awful experience); not only that but the doorbell was ringing constantly whenever someone stood to close to the door. This review is for the waxing. I walked in and it looked like no one was available; however, one of the women sitting in a chair with her hair processing and her feet getting done politely asked, "How can I help you?" I let her know I wanted to get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed and she directed me to the back room. She washed her hands and set up the wax.I laid down and we did the usual small talk that you do when getting your brows waxed and before I knew it, it was over. Michelle is a very kind lady. I've been here a handful of times and twice for my eyebrows. . . .The thing I dislike is the little disposable scrubber they use to scrub ur feet. I went here while waiting for My Truck that was next door getting an alarm installed. I was in bad need of a pedicure as it has been an obscenely long time since the last time I got one done. The place was empty when I got there, The Lady who runs the place was really nice and did a really good job on My feet. Took my significant other here to get her hands and feet done for the nights festivity. Walk in the door and was greeted right away by the young girl while the other lady work on another guest. We only had to waited a couple of minute before my significant other was lead to the massage seat to soak her feet. It was very quick and the price was decent and the quote we got was what we paid and she even got a free design on 2 of her finger nails. Read Less

My review should have been made a year and a half ago, it would have saved you this grief!!I had started to go to Michelle's but found that every single time I went I would have at least 1 nail fall off within a week of getting them done.She had another young woman working in the shop with her and she (Michelle) was so jealous of anyone else having a customer she intimidated them!!, to the point they were too nervous to do your nails right.After a few months I stopped going to her.  She should not be in busines for herself, she does not know the first thing about the way customers should be treatd. People should complain and have her license stripped from her.@ Vanessa J.  ...  As far as her taking your keys, you should have called the police and had her arrested for stealing your personal property.  Had it been me, she would have been picking herself up off the floor for pulling such a stunt. I should've known to look at yelp before I came to this place seeing as I am the first to review the place. I decided to get a quick mani and pedi here because it is very close to my house. Well what a mistake I made. When I walked in it looked like 1 woman was working (Michelle) and maybe her daughter who looked 15. The young looking girl got the pedi machine ready for me while Michelle finished up with some other lady. I sat in the water at the pedi machine for about 7 minutes before Michelle came over and started with me- i thought that was kind of a long soak. Half way through the pedi another lady walked in and announced to Michelle that she was back (maybe she came earlier and was asked to come back because there was only one person really working). I could tell Michelle started to speed through my pedi, then she asked the younger looking girl to finish the pedi while she started my mani.The PolishI brought my own practically black nail polish, which I think is kind of hard to paint paint.Well, Michelle totally painted all over my cuticles, so of course I asked her to go back and clean them up. I could tell I irritated her by requesting that. But of course she just went through the motions and my nails were still a mess. She proceeded to put and gel uv light on my lap to dry my nails and a rolling chair with 2 fans for my feet (the air from the fans was hitting my knees not my toes and I did mention this). to make matters worse she just left me there while she went to start acrylics on the other lady. 10 minutes later i took my hands out on my own to inspect and sure enough now my nails had bubbles!  I finally spoke up. Michelle came over and tried fixing them but they were beyond fixing and of course she probably thought she had done a spectacular job and that there was nothing to be fixed. So she left me there again to go finish the other womans nails' I was in shock. Did I mention that when I sat down with Michelle I had also told her that i wanted waxing?Well, I did and that fact that she never brought it up again and she just kept leaving me there to work on someone else told me that she did not really care about my business. After a couple minutes of thinking it over I decided to tell her that I would pay for the pedicure because from 5'2, the nail polish looked decent but not the mani seeing how she couldn't really get it right and she didn't actually fix them.Now this is the icing on the cake I put my keys down for a second to get money and SHE TOOK MY KEYS!! This woman is crazy!!!!!! I can't believe any respectable business would hold someone's keys hostage. So of course I paid for the full amount and went on my way.This woman could've offered to take the nail polish off and try again or just not charge for a bad mani and unfortunately she didn't do either.
