I saw the other reviews and was excited that a great nail salon was so close! I must have gone on an off day. I wasn't offered a mimosa or anything to drink and the ladies weren't particularly friendly. I had been growing out my nails and was so proud of the length (I used to bite them😣). The nail technician asked me what shape, I said "round and please keep the length". She said she thought square would be better and I said I didn't really care about the shape, I just wanted them to stay long. She repeated back "long and square". She then proceeded to cut and file my nails down to the skin of my fingertip, even after I mentioned to keep them long one last time. I'm extremely disappointed. I've been going to this nail salon for more than a year, and every time I was satisfied with their service! My acrylic sets are always even and last long time. Very clean and sterile, which is very important for me. Recently I started getting my eyelash extensions done there too. I get the 3D set, which lasts me about 5-6 weeks before I get the refill. Honestly I've been to a lot of salons and this is my all time favorite! I always get acrylics and I'm very picky about them. It has to be the perfect shape and length. I don't trust anyone with my nails except Nana, she is literally the best nail tech you can find out there. She always does my nails exactly the way I want. She takes her time and makes every single detail perfect. She makes sure you are satisfied with your nails before you leave. This nail bar located in the suburbs of Glendale and has a beautiful  atmosphere and modern vibe. When I walked into the salon I felt like an angel being descended into heaven with the white ambiance. I really felt peace and a sense of joy! As for the technician, I highly recommend Silva, who is a charming character and created great small talk while she did my SNS nails. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but wow. I've never been so disappointed in my life. My nail technician did such a terrible job I can't even look at my nails. Also failed to mention they now charge an extra $5 for removing previous gel polish !!!! This is extremely disappointing. For sure will not be coming back. I had a 12:15 appointment for a gel manicure on a Sunday. They were out of my first 2 choices for colors and I waited 40 minutes before I had to leave. There were maybe 2-3 other clients there, so it wasn't busy. It's incredibly frustrating to wait for 40 minutes and nobody (including the 2 receptionists) ever came over to apologize for the wait or give me an update on how much longer it would be. The vibe was not friendly, and when I informed the receptionists that I had to leave and couldn't wait any longer, there was minimal acknowledgment of their mistake. Either don't schedule an appointment if you can't accommodate it, or hire more employees. It's a shame because I just moved to the area and need a local nail salon. A gem in Glendale! Not only is this nail spot the cleanest but it's so affordable for the amount of work they do!  My usually go to girls are Arevik, Sylvia, and Nana! I came in for a full set of acrylics back in December. I was so excited, as the salon is very presentable and the girls were nice. I booked online and called in anyways to ensure my time slot and the girl said okay come right in. I went in and was told I was "lucky" because someone had cancelled so they could squeeze me in. I had an email confirmation of my appointment and the cost which said $35!! Keep this part in mind. I was offered a mimosa upon being sat at the bar in which I obviously said yes and the girl got to work on my nails. They were the most beautiful set of nails I have ever had HOWEVER they were NOT $35. Upon cashing out at the register I owed them $75 somehow?! Were they charging me for mimosas?! I don't understand how they get away with this misrepresentation of prices on their website. This is 100% false advertisement and is WRONG. I'm unsure if I was treated differently because of my race, but I will never be coming back to this salon. End of story. Read Less

Went in to get a fill and pedicure.  The pedicure bowls were so disgusting!  When I told the the lady, she said  your feet are in the plastic.....I looked over to the bowl next to me, that bowl was nasty as well!!!!  The bowls are white, so they show everything.  No fooling anyone there, now my feet under my toe nails have been itchy for weeks.  Clean your pedicure bowls!  Even though you place the plastic, there are still germs and bacteria going in the water jets. I've been to Polish Me Pretty Nail Bar two times and both times I walked away having had a great experience. I love that they send you a reminder text for your appointment the day before. Small gesture, but I appreciate places that do this. The salon is very boutique-ish with plush pedicure chairs fit for a queen. The decor is very girly and pretty.  The salon is extremely clean and well kept. The floors are spotless. Also, They use nylon covers in the tubs for pedicures, which makes it very sanitary.Nana (AKA my new nail guru) is great!  She is punctual, quick, shows a lot of attention to detail. For the first time ever I can actually sit back and enjoy getting a manicure, as opposed to watching over the nail tech and asking them to file more or add more polish. My gel manicures have been lasting well over 3 weeks. Prices are reasonable. They use sterilized tools every time. This place has left me so confused. The front desk lady (I assume owner) makes this a nice place, and based on her kindness, patience and willingness to fix mistakes, I would give this place 5 stars. What a dilemma. The salon itself is beautiful, and I'm sure some of the nail techs are great too, but my combined experience has made it so I won't be going back.The first time I come here, things seem to be going okay. Making small talk, getting my nails done, the usual stuff. I only get acrylics on special occasions, but I'm no stranger to salons and what to expect. Towards the end of my visit, some other obnoxious nail artist starts "jokingly" blabbing about how she has to take Vicodin because of "customers like you" (said to me as I'm sitting next to her quietly getting my nails done) and complaining about every single one of her clients. Awesome great first impression. Hilarious. So funny. I just keep quiet and am bombarded with her loudness. I get finished up and leave, -overall- pleased with -most- of my experience.---About a week later I call in because a few people had pointed out to me that one of my acrylic nails was placed incorrectly and looked bad/crooked. I call in and they say it's no problem to fix and to come in at 5 because that's when the nail tech will be free. I get there and wait 30 minutes only to be told that she was not free at 5 ever, and she's booked all day. Waste of my time. She takes me then anyway, but only after some absurd arguing, and at the expense and annoyed look from the client she was still working with. From trying to tell me it's just my finger curve, to my hand structure, to how to look at my own hand... Give me a break, lol. I only wish I had noticed it during my first visit so it could have been fixed then.She quickly files my nail, despite my protests, to a thick, blocky shape (the problem can't be fixed with a simple filing). She finally stops because she's rushing and has no time for me, and I decide to make an appointment to come back in and get it fixed properly when she has the time. While I'm making the appt, I ask her to at least put polish on the filed side so it's somewhat presentable, as the next day is my birthday, with new years the day after. More arguing ensues, I tell her how I feel, and she tells me that it isn't a big deal, all while rushing around and brushing me off. Um... What?? At this point I cancel my new appointment because I'm tired of being told I'm wrong, or how I should feel, or how to model my hand to make the nail look less bad (LOL?). Where to start? This place is so adorable! Everything is so clean and well maintained. The owner and all of the staff are so polite and genuine. They give you 110% percent customer satisfaction for sure! I always go in for Gel manicure and pedicure. Gigi is my guru!  I have been using Gel nail polish with Gigi for about a year now, and my nails are still so healthy and always beautiful! You can never go wrong choosing Gigi! From the moment you make an appointment you see their professionalism, the receptionist was very nice, you get a text, and a reminder. Gigi was wonderful really liked her did my nails and wow the shape! The Quality ! I am giving this salon 4 stars because of the quality of the nails after two days. The gel polish started to chip maybe because too much gel was applied. However they took me in on the same morning I called. They were very respectful. Kim did my nails. She was very sweet. The salon is very clean and chic. Truly an all around salon. However very pricey and because of the quality after two days it makes me feel like I spent too much for what I got. I told the manicurist, " do not cut my cuticles" she still kept pushing up my nail bed, ans i had told her i have sensitive hands, she pulled my hand said "let me do my job" , i told her but you push so hard, you brused my skin. I came here in May for my first ever acrylic experience. I found PMP through Yelp, and decided that I was willing to undergo the 40 minute drive to ensure a great experience and a job well done on my nails. I was not disappointed! Vivi did my pink and white ombré nails, and I also had a pedicure done (don't remember the name). My pedicure lasted 2 months. The pedicure I got at a different nail place on Wednesday already chipped! I recommend this place wholeheartedly. Vivi made my first acrylic experience painless, easy, and fun. I've been coming to this place since it was Long Nails! I was in the 6th grade when I got my first full set and have always ended up right back here. Great customer service and they won't let you leave unless you are happy. Thomas always does an amazing job! And Tracy did mine last time and did a perfect job on my coffins.
