Color selection is not great. Manicurist seemed to not know what she was doing. I get gel on natural nails. She noticed a break on my middle finger, said she would cut it. She went ahead and applied base coat. I asked her about cutting it and she said she would just glue it (rather than cutting it and starting over, which is what she should have done)? Like, you cant really glue natural nails. So, she went ahead and glued it. Instead of telling me they were done, the ladies just walked away. So i picked up my stuff and put my shoes on (at my regular salon, this is all done for you). I noticed the crack in my nail coming through the gel and asked that it be fixed. At first she refused and then brought some clippers and cut it, finally. But she did not repair the polish. So, i now have one nail that needs to be redone. For $50? Nope. Nah. I wish I had the option to give this place negative 5 rating.Made an appointment with Eric for 5 pm waited for an hour and finally they called me. Since he is the owner I think he was keep answering the phone and helping others customers to charge for their service. He also started doing somebody else's Nails because one of the girls there couldn't do her job right.He did an awful job on my hands and now turn for my Pedi . The salon is nice and prices are reasonable but there is an extremely rude manicurist by the name of Lin. She doesn't listen to what the customer is asking for but wants to make it easy on herself.  She rushes the process and is very rude when you ask any question.  Today she started yelling at me because I asked her not to file the top of my nail enamel as it makes my nails really weak.  I was a regular customer but I will not be returning as long as she is employed there.  She really doesn't know how to deal with the public.  I think she forgets that there is a nail shop on every corner. Nice salon. Very clean and the workers were sweet. they take American Express which is a huge plus! I had a gift card and found a bunch of salons don't take Amex.This salon is in a big plaza and I found street parking right in front. I had an appointment and before I could choose my color, they were ready for me. I was in and out in about an hour. I had a gel manicure and pedicure. Both services went smoothly. Awful. I came here twice, just to give it a second chance. If all they do is pedicures, then how can they mess them up so bad? Uneven cutting, cutting so short that the skin underneath is bleeding and showing so that when the blood dries it will look disgusting. Nail polish chipping after 1 day.   I can't even recommend this place for a polish change because she didn't even remove all the previous polish  before putting new color on. I had to tell her to. Being adventurous, I tried to just get my upper lip waxed. Stupid me. After having to tell the girl how to do this as well,  I left with patches of hair on my lip. So annoyed so I left before flipping out.  God forbid you say anything because they are rude and dismiss you with a quick "I know". I can't. I was not a happy customer at all. I called in the morning and was very specific when I asked  "how much do your charge for the removal of SNS and a manicure " the young gentlemen quoted me  $15.00. When I arrived, they didn't know how to remove the SNS,  I had to tell them how to do it. When it was time to pay 1.5 Hours later, they told me that It was going to be a total of $25.00 the extra $10 was to remove the SNS. Had I known that I would be charged $25 I would of not come here. The shop ended up reducing the price to $20, which I thought was fair, but i was not happy with the customer service, the lack of communication and the time It took to remove the SNS. I will not go back to this place ever again. Lynn was highly recommended but unfortunately she did the worst job ever.   She cut my cuticles and they started bleeding cause she filed my bare nails too much and they hurt so bad when I touch them.  I would give them Zero stars if I could.  One week has passed since I've done my nails but they still hurt :( Read Less

Got my nails done here for the first time and I'm beyond happy! They give hot stone massage for pedicures and have back massage chairs while getting them done. Eric did such a great job with the massage and pedicure and Dina did an amazing job with my gel nails! She is super detail oriented. Super clean salon and nice view outside on Glenoaks! Definitely my new go to spot to get my nails done. Best part??? They have parking right in the front, in the back AND underground. It's always impossible to find parking at the other nail salons in Glendale. Highly recommended and definitely coming back! Read Less

I have been going to this location for quite a while and if I could give them zero stars I would. I had my nails done a week ago on Sunday. She was angry because she was supposed to be off at 8 PM. She rushed through the process and the next day I woke up and my nails were clumpy so I called and I asked if I could have them fixed. This place is not cheap & I felt it was right to get what I paid for. I came in today and she was rude, belligerent & called me out of my name! Needless to say I will never return. OH MY GODDDDDDDD!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PRECIOUS NERVES AND GO ELSEWHERE! I have no idea how this place was "loved by Yelp" it's plain bad! My original nail person was on vacation so I just yelped a good nail place and sadly this came up!I came in with strong, long nails which needed a color change.. I am going back with weak, misshaped nails with few cuts on my cuticles.But let me start by saying she gave me the WORST attitude ever! She was the one who cut my cuticles which started bleeding and instead of saying sorry, she started giving me attitude! We get it, everyone makes mistakes and I am not the one to judge but you don't get to be rude to me!She filed my bare nails SOOOOOOO much they hurt when I touch them! I specifically told her to do square.. I had no idea squiggly was the new square! It was SO bad that I told her to stop and filed my own nails to which she leaned back and started giving me more attitude! Zoya, that's NOT how you treat customers! Right now, I am sitting in a car and my nails HURT as the AC hits it! I want to cry it is all SOOO bad! She kept talking in her language to others, I DONT CARE your work and your attitude both suck! I hate writing bad reviews but I sure will do so if one deserves it!I was approached by a man and another woman who worked there and wondered who I originally wanted to go to and I said I didn't care I asked for someone good and apparently Zoya was the "best" one! So I'm a sucker for super chic and modern salons which is precisely why I avoided this place for a long time... even though it's literally 5 mins from my house. Well... the holidays came and I needed my nails done on my only day off. My favorite salons were totally booked and had extremely long wait times for walk-in..... ain't body got time for that! So gave in and thought I'd try this place out. To my surprise I walked out with gorgeous nails that lasted well over 2weeks! (Gel). So, guess what? I went back today! And everything was fabulous! I love this place! I come in every other Wednesday to see Zula to get my gel manicure. I hate going anywhere else... in fact I absolutely hate The Nail Bar down the street. The NAILBAR has absolutely horrible service. I've had the worst experience there, one time I waited one hour with an appointment. I would ask NailBar for an almond shape or coffin and they have no idea wth I'm talking about.  As for NAIL PARADISE, they PERFECTLY shape my nails exactly how I want them. EVEN, ALMOND and SMOOTH. For Nail Paradise I make a quick appointment just so that I'm not sat there waiting. Kinda strange how "The Duchess" review... didn't make an appointment and was annoyed they didn't sit her right away when they were booked. If you don't want to wait... make an appointment. Duh! I love Zula, she's my girl! I love how Zula doesn't remove my gels by scraping the top layer off of my nails like a taking the chunks of the skin layer off of a carrot. My nails last, does not break, and they truly look healthy because its treated right. They always look fantastic and always getting compliments. I love the massage chairs. When I am feeling super stressed I get the mani and pedi combo and sit back, releasing all the tension in my shoulders and back. They have been open for about 6 months now and I can't believe it took me this long to stop in! Located in a residential area with ample street and back ally parking. I've driven by many times but felt guilty if I stopped going to my usual nail place. A sanitary nail place is a MUST for me and this place is SOOOO clean! They toss out the buffer and nail filer they use on every patron and use a brand new one on you. They are flimsy and low quality but it definitely gets the job done! Autoclave their tools..they open the package in front of you.$28 for reg spa mani-pedi$45 for gel man and reg spa pediI had Toni. She was sweet and great! Took her time and made sure I was 100% on my polish color (I'm so indecisive and annoying). Wasn't pushy with trying to get me to add on designs, callus remover ( even though I REALLY need it lol) etc- something I TRULY appreciate..ProsAccept MasterCard, Visa, AND American Express Country music sets the PERFECT mood for relaxation...Location, location, location- because it is in a nice part of town/residential area it attracts 'cleaner', older, more professional clientele ConsWish prices would come down..even just $2!
