Wen there today for the 1st time.The lady filed one corner of my nails square & the other corners round. Asked her to make sure both sides are square & even.Suddenly, she left. Then the front desk girl, Ana, approached me aggressively & said that another lady will do my nails & insulted me buy saying I'm very rude!When I questioned her name calling, she stated that i told the manicurist, she doesn't know what she's doing(which wasn't true)! 1. Ana was never there, she didn't witness anything & wasn't allowed to accuse me. 2.she did't have the right to disrespect me,call me rude in front of all other customers & staff especially based on wrong assumption. 3.the lady who was doing my nails lied,and this immature arrogant woman(Ana) aggressively attacked me without even verifying the truth with me. I regularly go here for a pedicure with Tina, and she is always amazing and does a wonderful job. I highly recommend her, and have been getting pedicures from her for over two years now on an almost monthly basis. However, I would NOT go here for waxing. I recently had a bikini wax done, and the technician did not listen to what I wanted, waxed further than I told her to and was so rough that I ended up with black and blue bruising. Not redness and irritation, but true black and blue bruises. When I called several days later and spoke to the manager, I was told to come in the following day and get a store credit. I was unable to come in right away because of my work schedule, and when I made it in six days after the original wax on the weekend to pick up the store refund, after having been a loyal customer for over two years, the manager told me that unless I was willing to undress and prove the bruising (which had then faded some because it had been almost a week) to herself and the technician, all she could offer me was a $10 store credit instead of a full $25 credit. All of that after having been such a loyal customer for almost three years was absolutely insulting. Read Less

Request Anna, she's the best! I loved my recent experience at Nail Forum. I've had trouble in the past 5 years finding a nail salon where the technicians take pride in their work and want to make their customers happy. At Nail Forum, everyone is congenial, they take their time with your nails, and they are clean and professional. They use multiple oils and a homemade brown sugar scrub on your hands and feet for the regular manicures. Anna did my pedicure and she is the best technician I've encountered in quite a while. I highly, highly recommend her. I will drive to Porter Ranch from now on to get my manipedis here! Read Less

front desk staff looks like they hate their jobs, i got home and showered after 6 hours and my manicure starts peeling off, ""michael"" said that the top coat was too thick and dry, i think that was the reason why it was peeling off, i dont know what kind of polish they use, probably the cheap/fake ones. so i called them and spoke to Aldona, she said ""its probably wasnt dry yet"" are you kidding? after 6 hours??? then she said, do you wanna come in and redo it? like somebody that really doesnt care. so i said i wanna talk the manager, she replied "" ill have her call you in 20 minutes, shes not arond right now. give me your phone number, so i did. they never call back, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. i will not come back to this place and i will tell all my friends. Yes, this place is nicely decorated, uses nice products, and appears well kept and clean. BUT, it is all to fool you into spending WAY too much money on a completely mediocre manicure/pedicure. The management staff couldnt careless about your happiness, or your service. They charge extra for every little thing you could possibly imagine... Honestly, I am surprised they don't charge extra for breathing their air, or sitting in their chairs. Next time I would rather throw money down the toilet. rubio's is my favorite mexican restaurant because of their barbecue sauce and their atmosphere. it's like you're on vacation because it has a hut inside. their food is always good here. their food tastes so fresh i would definitely recommend this place if you want to hang out. Read Less

They use better products on your nails than your average nail salon. It's a good, clean place to go to when you want a mani/pedi that is better and more sanitary than the average mom & pop nail salon on every corner, and not as expensive than a service at a spa. Would recommend. Read Less

I recently moved to the California and I have been looking for a place to get my nails done. I tried couple places but most of them didn't not satisfied me at all. They were dirty, and they did poor jobs. However, my co-worker recommended me to the nail forum and I had a great experience there. The receptionist was very friendly and answered all my questions and helped me pick a right service. Also the ladies were doing fabulous job in massaging and polish. There was another lady (she seemed like a owner) helped me with my shoes and key after I finish drying my nails.I thougjt the price was reasonable too, because it is much more expensive in the city where I used to live. Anyways, I am definetely going back to get my nails done again. The people there are Great! and do a wonderful job! Read Less

Nail Forum looks great on the outside -- very clean, comfortable massage-chair seats. But about 10 mins into the pedicure I ask my pedicurist what she's putting on my feet. It's fine if the employees have limited English skills, but not only did this woman not understand me, but also then did not know how to explain herself. There was a lot of pointing to the menu and muttering involved. I repeated MULTIPLE times ""I just want the basic pedicure"", pointing to the menu. Not only did she rub nail polish remover over my calves before realizing her mistake, but THEN later rubbed my feet/ankles with hot stones. To most people this would be relaxing. For me, she must have just pulled those rocks out of the oven because my ankles are still red from being burnt. It was a cold day so I'd worn boots to the salon. She told me they did not have paper slippers to wear, making me sit around for an additional 20 mins for my toes to dry. And to end the grand finale of unhappiness, when they rang me up at the counter they charged me TWICE THE AMOUNT, saying that I was in the computer for having their ""Bella Pedi,"" one of the most expensive ones on the menu, and that since the services were done there was nothing more to be done. The service did not understand English, did not listen to what I wanted, BURNT ME, and then charged me more than they should have. Worst. Ever. I used to love this place so much. I will admit they gave great pedicure, amazing manicures, and a wonderful wax job. I honestly spent at least a thousand dollars there. However, all of that changed once I encountered a bad fill and rude worker. I guess the lady that was working on my nails was in a rush and she filled my nails but they looked hideous. If they were going to look bad with the fill then she could have told me and I would have asked for a new set. I ended up coming back the next day and spoke to the manager and the manager was real nice about it but that lady that did my nails was so obnoxious and absolutely rude about it saying it's not her fault and speaking in her language with some lady about the fill. I just thought what horrible customer service and they expected me to pay more and they said they would give me a $5 discount--which I found ridiculous. Anyway, I ended up emailing the owner and they agreed to give me a good dicount for a new set. But because of that incident and the fact that the lady who did my nails was so rude about it I decided not go there anymore. If you did something wrong just admit it.
