I was a first time customer here and left so disappointed and in pain. An African American woman did my nails and was so rough with me. I already had thin nails from my previous acrylics and she proceeded to use the nail drill so much it burned my nail so bad i had to snatch my hand back. She then proceeded to apply the powder so sloppily and left my nails looking lumpy. When i asked her not to make them so thick, she said she'd fix them after. She then proceeded to file my nails so much on the right corners that my real nail started showing again. To 2 nails!! She then applied more powder to fix and started filing the same way, leaving them the exact same way as they were before. Might i add, she glued the skin under my nail TO MY NAIL! Then tried to get rid of it by FILING IT and ended up cutting me on my left pinky. I asked her to fix the lumps and shape bc they were so crooked and she told me it looked that way bc i had too much skin on One side of my fingers ... WHAT!? The shape on all the nails are not uniform. I am very unsatisfied with the nail job. I then decided to give up on having her fix them bc there was a client waiting for a 7:30 and it was now 8:15 (all that extra time, she was "fixing them") and it was SO DARN PAINFUL. She was so rough, knowing my nails were already super thin and sore. The nail technician herself was very nice and understanding but she, unfortunately, did not know how to do her job. I paid $48 for this. Biggest L I've ever caught. Mind you, i got these nails done on Thursday, January 11 With gel (she did give me a $5 discount for) as i would be working IMATS that weekend but left horribly disappointed. First of all, you walk in and the music is blaring. Can't think straight! No one greeted me and my daughter. We just kind of stood there for awhile. When we were seated, we were not offered drinks. My daughter and I both got pedicures and she got a gel manicure. Pedicures were ok. Ashley who did my pedicure was very sweet and friendly. My daughter had her gel manicure done by Marilyn. Worst French gel manicure I have ever seen as you can see in the attached pictures. Plus she cut my daughter's finger. It was bleeding and she didn't even apologize. All she said was, "it's because her skin is so dry and sensitive."  Seriously??? Never going back here again! $35 wasted on an awful gel manicure.We never told you to cut her cuticles. Furthermore that was the worst French manicure I have ever seen in my life. So you can try to sugarcoat it all you want. Read Less

This place is AMAZING!I just moved to Glendale, so I found this location to be very convenient.  It's in the heart of Glendale, across the street from the Americana and right next to Home Goods.. I mean come on... this gives the "getting my nails done" a whole another meaning :)  Staff was very pleasant, friendly, and professional.  I was greeted and seated right away, and didn't have to wait at all, since I had an appointment.  I had gel and pedi at the same time, and the nail techs were amazing!   Oh, did I mention that they offer a variety of drinks including mimosas, coffee, and tea?  Yeah that was the cherry on top!  I'll definitely be going back! I was in need of getting my nails done since I had been visiting LA for a month with the same set of nails I got done back home, Glendale was the perfect area to walk around with this nail salon right outside Americana. The environment was amazing, very good customer services as well as complimentary drinks in various choices. I had Mei do my nails, she was very patient and diligent with her work. I wanted to get acrylic with chrome polish done and she achieved that. I've been back home to my state for almost a week now and my nails are still perfectly good. Even though my nails tend to grow very fast they are still in good shape and the nails have not been damaged whatsoever. I highly recommend her!! Read Less

Trying to find a new nail salon is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. Normally if it's my first time trying a place I try not to judge, but I was a little disappointed in this place after reading reviews of regulars. I came here to receive a relaxing pedicure and to get a full set. Instead, I received a half assed pedicure by someone who seemed irritated that she had to stop getting her nails done and do mine. Tbh that was the fastest and most unsatisfying pedicure I've ever had. After receiving my short lived pedicure, I moved on to getting my full set. Carmen, who was my technician, saved this from being a completely bad review. Carmen was very outgoing and made our conversations fun, which made the time fly by while she was doing my nails. A few of my nails could be re shaped but nothing anyone would be able to point out just by looking at my hands. Overall my nails came out super cute and the way I wanted which makes me happy, but the customer service was lacking. I will be back to try them out one more time! I work with desserts, and my hands are always in water, washing, cleansing and so on... I went to do my manicure on Saturday and was debating on gel since I never look feminine on my nails because of my line of work. I decided to go all natural and just have a plain manicure. I knew for sure from past experiences that by Sunday or Monday it would be chipped so bad that I had to take it off. Here I am, Tuesday and I have had baking marathon since and been cooking everyday and not even a chip. Great job Acrylique nail salon! Read Less
