So I went here for the first time last week for a mani/pedi, calling ahead to make sure they do detailed designs, the man on the phone said yes so I went in! The pedi was AMAZING, Tiffany gave me an amazing foot massage , was incredibly sweet and we had a great conversation during. The design on my big toe was just stripes and it was all so all 3 stars are for Tiffany! The mani however......The woman wasn't wearing a nametag (should have been telling I suppose) but she sits at the furthest back corner and it was awful. I showed her the pic of the design I wanted, a badger on one and yellow and black stripes on the rest, and she shook her head and said no, without pointing out someone who could. I figured, well it is kind of intricate so ok. But the entire mani she had a death grip on my fingers and was twisting my fingers so hard I actually had to rotate my arm to accommodate her, (for scope the base joint of my ring finger is still a bit stuff several days later) I said ooh ouch, my fingers don't really bend that way! And she just looked at me and continued. I got a 1/4" (bleeding) cut from the cuticle cutters and rather than apologizing she said my skin is so thin, shook her head, tsked, and continued. Yes I know my skin is thin! Please be more gentle! So I left with sore rotated fingers, one bloody, and an okay design. (Which I was actually pretty disappointed about since the design was the only reason I was giving this place a try, but what are you gonna do)The one upside is that her death grip hands made for a really awesome massage even if it was only a couple seconds. I'm going to give this place another shot since Tiffany was so wonderful but definitely asking for a different manicurist, or maybe just a pedi only. Read Less
