Are you blonde? Need a blonde expert? After moving here from out of state, I was scared I wouldn't find a colorist who could get it just right. I did my research and tried Kristina at Image and Design. She's been doing my hair for a year and a half and I love my hair! She really knows what she's doing with color. This is my first yelp review bc I felt customers need to know about this so called "Makeup artist". Her name is Sammy H. and she does make up and eyelash extensions here at image and design.Getting straight to the point.... she did my make-up for a wedding. All I can say is TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!!!    She emptied out her dirty makeup bag with crappy makeup and used dirty make-up sponges on my face. I didn't day anything bc I didn't want to be rude.  They told me it would cost $55 she charged me $45. She new I wasn't happy and it appeared that the owner Heidi new I wasn't happy while I was paying as well.  I can't believe the owner didnt even say anything or ask how it went. It was so obvious my make looked like nothing special and I wasn't happy. I pretty much could have done a waayy better job but I didn't bc I trusted her to make me look good. FAIL!!!Oh yeah and down the street one of my eyelashes came off. That reminds me,  Sammy tried to cover up the glue that she got all over my eyes with makeup. The glue got all over my top and underneath my eyes.  My eye was even glued shut.   All you ladies know how frustrating eyelashes can be. But dude i paid this lady.   So so disappointed in Heidi's employee. I will tell everyone I know not to do business here. This is actaully the second time I come here and I shouldn't have given it a second chance. After I paid, I was still nice enough to tip Sammy 10 bucks.     I hope she buys some disposable sponges to use on clients. Instead of that dirty beauty blender. I have been having my hair cut and colored by Sheena since last year.  I highly recommend her if you want a great color or cut. I simply show her a pic of what I want (usually from Pinterest) and she nails it!! There aren't too many stylists out there that get it really close to perfect, but Sheena usually does. The first time I went here I was treated to a color correction with Kaitlyn and she was amazing! She lightened it up in one try and my orange hair was a beautiful champagne blonde.I went back 2 years later in December 2016 for a balayage with my natural born dark hair and this time it was with Bria. She did a good job but we had to schedule a second session to get it lighter since it's hard to get dark hair to look blonde. The price came out to $150 since I got a haircut as well. My 2nd appointment was last week with Bria and I expected a nicer blonde color like Kaitlyn helped me get but I just did not like how it turned out. I understand that lightening dark hair can be difficult but the color was more lighter when I went in then when I came out of there. Now I'm stuck trying to tone carrot orange hair with purple shampoo. Another thing that was kind of annoying was that I was charged $150 again, which was weird because usually second sessions which are meant to lighten the original color a little more are supposed to be cheaper, and this time I did not get a haircut. I asked them about this but they just told me that on the brochure their balayage were $165 and that I was "discounted" both times, but a discounted price of $15 for a second session is really pathetic. All in all, I would recommend Kaitlyn. I'm not sure how well she is at balayages, but she's great at correcting bad ombree's! Read Less

I have been coming to Image and Design for years and for one reason: Kristina Fortuna. I literally drive all the way down from San Francisco to get my hair done by here because there is no one in a 100 mile radius that can do blonde hair like her. My hair is delicate and fragile but I've been able to keep a beautiful, frosty platinum blonde AND long as all hell. Kristina is an artist and takes amazing care of my hair each visit. She makes the best recommendations on what to do when I come in and is honest when she thinks I need a trim or to do a full or partial highlight. I leave the salon looking and feeing flawless every time. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone who loves their hair and wants it looking healthy and fabulous. I have always came here to get my hair done but I moved and didnt want to commute. So I had a bright idea of doing my own hair and in bright colors! Well long story short Brandy saved my hair and did so much more. I highly recommend her to everyone. She stayed way past closing time and made sure she talked me through everything she was doing. The stylest are great it really doesnt matter who you get there they are all really nice and really good! last time i went my stylest was running a little late because one of her clients came in a little late but she made the whole thing work instead of making me wait a long time she put me under the blow dryer with a deep conditioner that felt great and my hair was increadible after and what it took maybe 15-20mins longer!i love this place and i no you will also!
